The hotel is something close to paradise. The only minus is actually related to the bar and restaurant. The food is excellent, but the wine is extremely expensive and the price does not even reflect the quality of the wine. The Michelin star restaurant is probably great but the prices are more like 3 stars than 1...

Tired and needs maintenance. Living room lighting so bad it was unusable. Shower badly caked with sediment. Water leaked all over floor. Our friend’s shower reeked of sulfur and was unusable. Their clothing ended up absorbing the smell and had to be cleaned at the next hotel. Pool unheated. Lounge cushions need repair and cleaning. What an amazing hotel with excellent and helpful staff. The surroundings were of great quality and the food sensational. We had 4 lovely nights with a boat trip to Stromboli. That was a highlight. Mrs Ravesi home cooked meals beautiful and it was fabulous to meet her. Topped it off with a book launch with Ros Belford followed by a wine tasting. Beaches weren’t too far and lots of fun.

What a fabulous paradise! The rooms, the gardens, the swimming pool, the view, and of course the kindness of the Ravesi family and all the staff. We felt completely at home, many thanks! Highly recommended to take a wine sampling experience–the wine bar in the garden is beautifully arranged, and the sommelier Riccardo is very knowledgeable.

This whole week felt like I was in a dream. The hotel, from the room with outdoor terrace, the wonderful reception staff, service staff through to the boat staff, is just incredible! This property was stunning! The vineyard and the beautiful flowers throughout the property were incredible. The view from our villa was amazing. Got to see the sunset and see the volcano on Stromboli erupt from our villa patio at night was a bonus! Only issue with the place is the flies.
