I have stayed at this place twice. I will be again. It’s peaceful and nice. Love the pool and the beach few steps away. The rooms are airy and pretty.

Outstanding Staff Beautiful grounds with a view of the smoking Vulcano, absolutely stunning. A fantastic pool and beautiful black beach make this a really fun hotel. The service is fabulous, the staff really cares about making your stay comfortable.

The hotel itself is well maintained and clean, every employee is keen to help unfortunately the restaurant (that also serves breakfast) is run by a different company and they have no idea how to run it. I've spent one hour waiting for a coffee. I understand that this year due to anti covid measures everything is a little bit more complicated but honestly the restaurant people have no idea how to do...

The hotel gives a chill and relaxing vibe, but does have some flaws and is not perfect. Rooms are good but not that roomy. The restaurant overlooks the sea with a stunning view and it is amazing to have a drink at the terrace above. The flaws are in the little things like; no help with luggage when arriving. No towels when arriving in the room. No WiFi reception in the room. Can’t even charge my MacBook...

Beautiful resort and environments, the staff had outstanding service, friendly and so helpful. The food was amazing - a true taste of Italy! And the Bartender, Samuel, made amazing drinks. Overall the resort and the staff over exceeded all our expectation! We highly recommend Mari del Sud and will definitely come back !

Amazing hotel with rooms and a pool owerlooking the ocean! The rooms are clean and functional and with a breathtaking view (our Room has a view over the ocean). The staff where super friendly and service minded. Thay helped us book all restaurants and taxis all week. Just love this place!

This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra.

Would stay there again Comfortable bed, air con worked perfectly, nice size balcony with pool view, free water refill 24h, good choice for breakfast and good quality, everyday room cleaning, new towels and not worn ones. Hotel well maintained, fresh paint. 5mins walk to negra beach and diving centre, 20 mins walk by main street to the port and restaurants area, 15mins walk to the bottom of vulcano...

We will stay here again!! We loved our stay. Everyone at the hotel was helpful, amazing, and professional. Our rooms faced the pool and had large terraces. The breakfast had multiple choices such as meats, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, cheese, juices, etc. we also had an excellent dinner at the hotel.

Nice gem on the island of Vulcano. Very very kind personel who speak English and are always ready to help you. The service is good and they are willing to help with any question. good location, easy to reach by foot from port, easy access to volcano and beaches, quiet, beautiful view from the pool area, friendly staff, basic but good breakfast

Very friendly staff. The pool was a pleasant extra. Breakfast was very basic, but much better than the expected "one croissant with coffee" assumed after reading comments 🙂.. Excellent location between the town / bubbling sea bath and the crater.

Beautiful hotel in location quiet a stone's throw from the center and from the beaches of Ponente and Levant. The rooms are perfectly air conditioned and equipped with all comforts. The swimming pool with whirlpool offers relaxation and fun both both adults and children. The staff is very polite and ready to meet the wishes and needs of guests. In short, a hotel absolutely to be recommended!

A bit dated/old hotel, situated close to Port and restaurants, in a quiet street.

Perfect hotel ! Really ! Except they don t know how to make cocktail lool, they never serve them, but if you ask they will try and give you a lot (too much) alcool ! So kind persons. We décide to stay 2 more nights in the pool in front of the Vulcano with our really strong cocktails...

My partner and I arrived in Vulcano on August 15 at eight in the evening, without having booked any accommodation, almost by chance we found availability in this residence, and to our surprise we were really surprised. Would have 4 stars, but the place is difficult to find. The staff are nice and the rooms are good for the price. And can't beat being right on the beach though.
