Lovely place to stay, amazing view and access to the ocean with great recommendations for the tours. Most of the staff were super super friendly, some others unfortunately … quite the opposite.

This place is simply marvelous! You can just dive into the water right below the hotel, and instantly see colorful and exotic fish. The friendly staff helped us with everything we asked. Definitely worth a stay!

Excellent and lovely place with all facilities you need to enjoy your vacation. The hotel rooms are nice, there is a big restaurant and a great pool. Food is amazing. Wonderful pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Lack of room facilities. No kettle, iton, clothes rack for hanging wet swimming things. For a 4 star this would be expected. Its a fine hotel but dated and the the furntiture at pool needs an update/clean. Ashtrays werent emptied.

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a tour around Sicily. It really is a lovely hotel, in a great setting with nice views, wish we could have stayed longer. Pool area was great. We want to express here how wonderful our stay was, how much we appreciated the location and the friendliness and service (even making vegan cakes for me!) It was the perfect location for staying on Lipari. Our room was very nice and clean, with a wonderful view. The view from our room was outstanding. Lovely sunrise on our last day. Lots of restaurant noise audible in our room at night after service ended. Breakfast was nothing special. Dinner was better. Lovely boutique hotel in a great location near the port. Easy access to the shops and all amenities, exceptionally clean and a fantastic restaurant! We had a great time: impeccable service, very courteous staff and beautiful rooms with breathtaking views; unique "problem" the distance from the center so you have to organize yourself by taxi or bus .... but the view you can enjoy is worth the sacrifice !!!

Fabulous location. Very nice and well-kept building. Family run but very professional. Enjoy your breakfast. If I had to find a flaw it is only the wifi not present in all the rooms. Our room, the Sagittarius, although not using wifi, is located in an area with a lot of privacy and with a very large and panoramic patio.

Fabulous location !! The room has a beautiful terrace overlooking the small port of Pignataro. From the latter you can enjoy a hearty breakfast admiring the island of Vulcano and the southern end of the island of Lipari. The owners are very kind and very professional. simply lovely This was the highlight of our trip in Sicily. Everything was perfect, even the little cat that came to say hello on our balcony! The pool was lovely, and the sunrise views from there simply amazing. The only snag was that the pre booked "shuttle" was nearly 30 minutes late picking us up from the port. Apart from that, perfect. I love this place, you are close to the port and by 15 min walking you are in Garibaldi street. You have the sea just under your room and in the morning you can enjoy the sea view from the windows of your room. The plates are delicious and the staffs are nice and helpful. This is probably the finest hotel in it's pricerange. The view, rooms and staff are all amazing and they will help you book vehicles of any kind for local prices. The only downside is that even though the food is brilliant, they don't offer any vegan/vegetarian alternatives. A nice old style hotel in the middle of town. It has a lot of vintage posters which we found makes a nice atmosphere. After we booked the room online, we found out at the hotel that we got a room with bunk beds and asked to switch to another room. The people were super helpful and kind to arrange this for us. Cozy hotel with nice garden and good location to the city center, the rooms are ok but the interieur was getting a bit long in the tooth. The breakfast was nothing to mention. I would also highly recommend to provide another coffee machine, an Nescafé Instant coffee machine is just a shame, especially for an Italian Hotel.

Great place to stay, even after 6 years!

The building is nicely and located near the porta, the rooms are clean. We waited until 2:15 pm for our room. We ask to be more quickly (we have one children and one infant) but our request was ignored. The breakfast are very poor. We found poor variety of food. We'll not return.

Hotel is a little dated ( sunchairs could do with a refresh) but overall the service is 5 star and the rooms were comfortable and clean with good walking distance to centre of town - be aware it is uphill though so if you have mobility issues not the best choice

Only minus: Very long and steep walk to town, plus a high staircase without handrail leading up to hotel. I would not return as for me that was a problem that disturbed my stay.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room, large terrace, quite convenient location, even if it's all uphill from the port and Marina. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel, poor in terms of both sweet and savory food which was really poor.

Good location and helpful staff . Check out the roof deck . The pool is not heated . There are quite a few steps if you are not on the ground floor . The windows don't have screens , and if you want tissues or an electric kettle you have to bring your own . There's not a reading light by the bed .

We had a nice stay at the Arciduca. While the hotel itself is in a nondescript residential neighborhood, we appreciated that it was a very short walk to Marina Corta, a charming spot in Lipari with nice views of the harbor, several restaurants which are great for an aperitivo, lunch or a snack. We also found an inexpensive guide at Marina Corta with a boat to take us to various swimming spots around...

Excellent structure located 3/4 minutes from the pedestrian area and the marina. Staff courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and adequate. The swimming pool is not large but usable. I do not assign the fifth star because the double room in which we stayed, certainly clean and dignified, is a little dated in the furnishings.

The hotel offers a lot of facilities: we liked the little access to the sea, the location in Lipari but out of the crowded streets, the free shuttle they offer at arrival/departure, the shower facility that you can use after the checkout. We ate there 1 night and the food was very good. The staff was very kind. We will go back when in Lipari.

Nice place! With a beautiful view, the staff was very kind. I didn't eat at the restaurant but I tryed the swimming pool and the seaside cove. The swimming pool didn't have a shower so it wasn't very igenic. However the seaside cove was very cool!

Top location. Very nice salt water pool overlooking the sea. Access to the ocean over stairs leading down from the pool with reclining chairs on rocks. Crystal clear water. Some small jelly fish with minimal sting.

The hotel is clean, it has elevators, nice breakfast and lunch. The staff is very nice and they are trained to communicate fine in English. The view from my room is amazing, even though it's not a luxury hotel, the view from the room or from the pool (sea water) makes you feel like royalty. The hotel also has access to the sea, it's not a beach but you can swim in the sea if that's your thing.

Unfortunately we never reached the hotel that seems to have such flood reviews and is so beautiful. Due to bad weather, we couldn’t reach the hotel and the owners very so nice to cancel our reservation for free. Top service! We will do our best to (try) and come again!

This is a fabulous little hotel, very clean and the reception staff are super helpful. It's a 20min walk from the port, but they do provide a free shuttle service if you call them. There's a fabulous pool with a hydro massage, perfect way to unwind after a busy day.

Very nice view from the swimming pool, good breakfasts, extremely hospitable staff and the relaxing garden ...but a lots of very very very loud old fat germans who don't let you relax if they are at the pool.

We have been there at the end of the season, nevertheless the experience was great. We had a fantastic room and the personnel was extremely kind and useful. The hotel is located a bit out of the center but they have a free shuttle service to and from the port and the center, however we walked most of the times as it was near. Breakfast was good, only the fruit juices were a bit tasteless.

A wonderful family owned and run hotel on the beautiful island of Lipari . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff as we discovered were all family members . We stayed in a nice and spacious quadruple room, the only flaw, the lack of a fridge, however compensated by the staff who provided us with a fridge on the ground floor. It’s in a really good location just off the main drag. Hotel is old and quirky like a museum. Staff were excellent and spoke great English. Rooms have balconies and this is nice. Only 2 negatives - the bed was like a rock and so both me and husband woke each day with muscle soreness. Secondly there is a great massive telephone tower on top, both of which affected sleep. Convenient location a stone's throw from the port and the main street, a beautiful typical island structure but in need of more maintenance.

This annex of the Gattopardo Park Hotel is located across the street. Guests can use the hotel's amenities (reception, breakfast, and pool terrace). The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and modern. The bathroom is truly spacious, with a large shower. The staff meticulously cleans the rooms daily. My only complaint is that the door doesn't close properly, letting in light from the hallway.

Comfortable and clean, which is what you need when travelling away from home. It was easy to relax here, and wasn't much of a walk to get into the centre of town.

Central hotel, excellent location: a stone's throw from the sea and the children's playground. Clean rooms, excellent cuisine, professional and friendly waiters and staff. Magnificent view from the terrace and welcoming and stimulating playroom for children. Bus stop 10 meters from the hotel!!

I spent a week in September and I had a very good time; good cleanliness of the rooms, excellent cuisine by Mrs. Luisa, all plentiful and homemade. The staff are also friendly, all available to give information and advice for visiting the island... very convenient hotel to the beach. The panoramic terrace has a super view of the sea, too bad you can't access it before 8... to see the sunrise. I recommend...

I spent a week in this delightful hotel. The choice was spot on! The room was very nice and functional. The staff very attentive and super kind. In addition, the structure has a very strategic position: crossing the road leads directly to the beach of Canneto. Highly recommended!
