The hotel is a very welcoming establishment with excellent services. All the staff, especially at the reception, are exceptionally kind, helpful and establish a truly pleasant relationship with the customer. Maybe the place could be modernized a bit, but that's fine too. In the summer with the great heat, the two swimming pools, adults (25m) and children, are excellent for families with children....

Fine hotel, if it was renovated. It has good bones, but needs investment to make things fresh again. Employees were excellent, restaurant is good and an excellent pool just 10 km away from the center of Lucca. The area around the hotel is agricultural, in a boring way. Don’t expect the tipical Tuscan vistas here!

We stayed at this hotel for a short break. Spacious room with a large terrace equipped with an umbrella, table and two comfortable chairs for sunbathing. The welcome from the staff was excellent and ready to give us all the advice. The swimming pool is spotless and equipped with towels for sunbathing with umbrellas and deckchairs. Nice enough place but very dated. Pool is superb but doesnt open until 9 ! so no early morning swim before work for me. Closes again at 7 so only just got in after work. Restaurant appears expensive. Overall not bad but needs an overhaul

The pool is huge! The staff, especially the manager and life guard are amazing! the food was excellent and the breakfast was also great.

It is a beautiful property, the view at breakfast is simply a dream. The peace up there is priceless. Andrea and Laura are great hosts who also transfer their tranquility to their guests. Great breakfast with daily warm baguettes, cakes and much more. We really enjoyed relaxing there for 1 week. Andrea gives great tips to plan the day. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Really lovely place and nice staff

A highlight of our month long visit to Italy. A most intimate taste of the Italian life and the tastiest olive oil you can imagine. Andrea and Laura provide an amazing breakfast with fresh baked flaky crossants that melt in your mouth. The morning view of Lucca was fantastic from our breakfast on the balcony. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Very pleasant stay in this establishment, as beautiful as it is comfortable, of exemplary cleanliness, very well located a few kilometers from the walls of Lucca. Via Pesciatina, which is very busy, is unfortunately very close, the only caveat that we can bring to our judgment. We really enjoyed our visit at Lucca Fora. Roberta was very helpful finding us bus schedules and calling the taxi for us. The breakfasts were delicious. We had thought we could rent bicycles to get to town but Roberta let us know the road was too dangerous and she was right. Better to have a car staying there. Nonetheless we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

The location was relaxing and quiet, albeit a 15 minute taxi ride to/from the walled city ($15 if no traffic, $30 if congested). The grounds are styled perfectly, inside and out! The hostess was very kind and hospitable despite the huge language barrier. She and her daughter went out of their way to be as helpful as possible.
