Great Value for Money! We were just passing through. The staff was very friendly, and we found the overall value to be excellent. The breakfast was great! The only slight issue was that the pool didn't open until 9:30 AM. Aside from that, everything was perfectly fine. It's located in a charming village, and the hotel boasts a superb location with a wonderful view.

A charming old farmhouse, beautifully renovated and transformed into delightful accommodation, perched on a hill with a panoramic sea view overlooking the White Beaches, Gorgona island, and the coast of Castiglioncello. Lost grandeur. All the decor rather shabby and has seen better days. The bedroom was big and had a large balcony but this was looking over the road. The room itself was very unloved and there was a feeling of ‘mend and make do’ throughout the hotel. The bathroom was very poor. With an over bath shower that felt precarious. There was a large hole in the bathroom door also which just went to show...

Escape to the sea Was greeted by Marco, who was bright and cheerful. Hotel well located in the town. Rooms very average. Noisey fridge which didn't really chill anything. Air conditioning not much better either. Very tired in places.

Very helpful staff, they helped us when the trains were on strike and we couldn’t get to our next destination. Good location, near town and beaches. Comfy bed.

We had such a great stay here! The family room was very cool, clean and comfortable, the staff super-friendly and welcoming and the location really great. One minute to the beach and five minutes to the train station, and a stroll through a pine grove to a charming collection of restaurants. And oh - the breakfast was really yummy!

A wonderful location, kind staff, and great amenities. Loved the couch that turned into bunk beds. Room had a beautiful view. So thankful to stay here. A recommended stay if you are wanting a quiet place outside of Pisa with beautiful views.

Friendly service. Lovely fresh buffet breakfast with great pastries. Room nicely appointed, cleaned & towels changed regularly. Found the Solarium which had beautiful views. Would have liked coffee/tea making facilities & fridge. Apparently they serve food but don't mention facilities. Were offered use of a different hotel pool & sauna with 10% off food on the day before we were due to fly home...

Great hotel 5 minutes from the train station and 3 to the beach !

The most wonderful place. We have been treated marvellous. The room was clean, the veu was beautifully (to the sea). Breakfast home made was fantastic, I am speechless. My 5y old son enjoyed everything here. Grazzie per tutto.

Last minute booking for 1 night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room for the price. Air conditioned.

The staff in this hotel is awesome. They try to help and accommodate to your needs all the time. The hotel is clean and the view is incredible.

I was passing by today. I fell badly and hit my head on concrete. I was not a patron yet they took care of me with such kindness. There was no taxi available so the manager drove us to get attention. They all blatantly refused a tip of any kind- such good people ❤️❤️

Hidden gem I would like to start this review saying that is my fourth time in Italy and this time I am spending over two weeks here. I have been in 3 starts and 4 starts hotels that I didn’t feel this much comfortable and well served. Everything from the beginning to the very end was perfect. Best in class in service, politeness, kindness, great bed sheets, spacious bedroom, and a speechless breakfast...

We were guests for three nights in this hotel which seems more like a three star than a two. Everyone was very kind, the cleanliness was excellent. I would give special praise to the lady who manages the breakfasts because she has the patience of an elephant. The service was overall quite disappointing. One of the two brothers working at the reception was not very friendly and alternated helpful answers to quite dismissive and arrogant answers to our questions (very helpful in indicating the best beach nearby; very arrogant when told that the windows were not closing correctly, and when we asked whether there would be margarine for breakfast he said yes...

Clean and newly refurbished rooms. Italian breakfast with sweet pastries from local bakery. Great location close to beaches. We were disappointed with the size of the rooms. We booked a suite. The room is perhaps 25 sqm including everything. With a narrow balcony that was towards a quiet part of the street and nice to sit on. Honestly I would call it a small Family room instead of a suite.

We had to spend the night spontaneously in Castiglioncello. The room was cheap, clean and nicely decorated. After the day in the sun we were glad to have a good shower and air conditioner in the room. The staff was very nice and helpful and even prepared a sweet take away breakfast because we had to leave very early. Overall a comfortable and good experience.

Beautiful views and amazing service! Julio was the receptionist, and he was extremely nice. He told us his parents’ bakery provide the fresh pastries for the breakfast every morning (which were delicious). Julio was also very helpful, giving us tips for our stay in Castiglioncello, even lending us a beach umbrella for the day at no cost. We recommend booking directly via phone or website.
