A beautiful location, not on the sea, but very close to the Via degli Etruschi and not far from Volterra and San Gimignano. We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautifully kept, and had plenty of space — especially the big bedrooms. The surroundings were so peaceful, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. We had such a great stay here! The family room was very cool, clean and comfortable, the staff super-friendly and welcoming and the location really great. Stayed here as part of a bike tour group. The hotel was very clean, service super friendly and helpful, food was delicious and the pool was a nice relaxing add for after biking. We were able to get a tour of the winery and it was one of the best tours we have ever been on as the son of the owner was super passionate about his craft. The scenery was great.

This is the most 5 star, 4 start hotel I’ve ever been to. From the minute we walked in, until the minute we left, the staff was incredible and kind. The hotel room was immaculate. So clean. Smelled so good. The rooftop pool, bar, restaurant was so nice and fairly priced for such a nice hotel. The staff was always eager to ensure we were satisfied and happy. I cannot wait to come back to this hotel

Nice rooms, but we couldn’t sleep because of strong wind which was very loud and heard in the room. Very poor breakfast. NO COFFEE included. No vegetables. Only unhealthy bad quality bread with some artificial eggs made of powder and sweet unhealthy croissants. Don’t take breakfast. Good side : close to the beach

Overall was a good experience but on the third night the water from the tap and bathtub was coming out yellow with black sediments. We went to reception and they said there was nothing they could do apart from letting the water run for couple hours. We ended up not having a shower that night anyway as the bathtub was covered in black sediment. Very poor. They explained that this was because some works...

Clean and newly refurbished rooms. Italian breakfast with sweet pastries from local bakery. Great location close to beaches. We were disappointed with the size of the rooms. We booked a suite. The room is perhaps 25 sqm including everything. With a narrow balcony that was towards a quiet part of the street and nice to sit on. Honestly I would call it a small Family room instead of a suite.

We had to spend the night spontaneously in Castiglioncello. The room was cheap, clean and nicely decorated. After the day in the sun we were glad to have a good shower and air conditioner in the room. Ok place but I went on the winter so didn't see the holiday atmosphere. Pheasant people there. Small rooms no English speaking TV. Minimal breakfast. I would start here for the TV and breakfast reason. If that didn't matter to you then it's fine but small rooms... Very small the one I had.

We stayed for a week at the Golden Hotel and Apartments in a well equipped self catering apartment. Great place - spotlessly clean, excellent location and lovely pool area. The place is quite on low season (probably not on summer) and offers a lot of activities (pool, tennis, ping-pong, football etc), but the room was not so clean (many insects on the ceiling) and the bathroom was smelling urine (probably due to a leak). The restaurant doesn't provide good quality. Prefer going in restaurants outside, on the see side.

Quiet, very clean and welcoming, very relaxing pool and very nice and sensitive owner

One of the first agriturismos in the area, and definitely worthy of the name. The place is very quiet, the rooms are spacious and very well-maintained. The pool is large and has plenty of space for sunbathing. The food is homemade, and by that I mean, superb! Kudos to Andrea, his mother, and the entire family who put their heart and soul into it.

Oh wow, this farm house is absolutely smashing in terms of all expectations. The owner Mr Andrea and his family are such warm hearted souls. They took impressive care of us with such good intentions. Brilliant campsite. We stayed for a week in our camper van for a cheap price. Great family holiday resort with a lot of action and activities. Well located close to the beach and within reach of many wine farms and other attractions in the area. The cabins are showing some signs of ageing and use, but in general still good. The staff are very friendly and helpful!
