We had a wonderful stay in Volterra! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. The breakfast was excellent, everything was very clean, and the staff was incredibly kind. We 100% recommend this place!

Just had a perfect stay at La Locanda in Volterra – a small, cozy hotel with amazing service that made me feel right at home. Beautiful rooms, warm hospitality, and the best location. Even better, it’s connected to Ristorante Etruria, so great food is always just a step away. Highly recommended!

La Locanda is a delightful small hotel located within the Volterra walls but conveniently close to parking just outside. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely and helpful staff. Generous breakfast. Easy walking distance to all Volterra attractions.

Located just within the walls, La Locanda was the perfect location for exploring Volterra. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. There is convenient parking close to the hotel.

Great location. Near lots of lovely restaurants and shops. Staff are fabulous and so helpful. The room we had was clean and spacious. The bathroom had been redone in last few years. It was spacious and had everything required. Car parking is 3 mins walk and costs €2 per hour or €12 for the day.

This is a small, but elegant hotel conveniently located in the old part of Volterra. Parking is limited. We left our car in the Dogano underground garage (15 euro/day) and walked our suitcases the 140 meters to the hotel (there are free parking options further away). Staff are friendly and attentive. Our room, on the third/top floor (there is an elevator), was comfortably sized, and beautifully equipped...

We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings.

During our vacation, we stayed in several hotels in different cities, and this one was by far the best! The staff were very friendly, the location was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was always spotless. Most importantly, there was convenient parking with a permit for the ZTL area. Many thanks to the staff for making our stay truly unforgettable!

The staff at reception, in the bar and breakfast were helpful and offered excellent service, as did housekeeping. The room and public areas were exceptionally clean. Housekeeping provided excellent service. The air conditioning was effective.
