Great hotel central location. Very good renovated room. Staff very very helpful. Anna Was very concern and co operative.

This is a small, but elegant hotel conveniently located in the old part of Volterra. Parking is limited. We left our car in the Dogano underground garage (15 euro/day) and walked our suitcases the 140 meters to the hotel (there are free parking options further away). Staff are friendly and attentive. Our room, on the third/top floor (there is an elevator), was comfortably sized, and beautifully equipped; you could say luxuriously (see photo). If, like me, you are a breakfast person, make sure to confirm that the breakfast is included when you make you reservation. You will be in heaven. They describe the breakfast as continental, but the buffet was astounding, from classic Italian meats and cheeses, to an amazing array of pastries, to fresh fruits, yogurt, muesli, granola, gluten-free options....(see photo). There was a fun automatic machine that churned out quite acceptable espresso/cappuccino/machiato/hot chocolate/hot water for tea.... The hotel is just a few minutes walk from restaurants, shops, and most of the main attractions.

We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings.

Fantastic property run by amazing people. Extremely convenient location next to some really good restaurants & very close to the bus stop / underground parking. Volterra and the Inn was beautiful

A small hotel in the heart of Volterra only a short walk from the car park, and within easy reach of the town for restaurants and sightseeing

Great location near shopping, restaurants, the Etruscan Arch, and the La Dogana parking garage. Attractively decorated. The room was comfortable and well laid out…we even had our own sort of "movie theater" due to the TV placement. The bed was comfortable, the area was quiet at night, and the shower was a nice size. The breakfast buffet offered many choices and they had thought of everything travelers might want (for example, both salted and unsalted butter; still and sparkling water; etc.) The only downside was that some rooms are halfway between the main floors (hard to explain) and require taking extra stairs. If you have trouble with stairs, try to avoid those rooms.

AC doesn't work. When you ask for help at front desk the man says he can't help and they will fix tomorrow. Huh?? We leave tomorrow. Not having a working AC in 100+ weather isn't ok: if it's not working tell guest so they can make a decision. Man at desk didn't seem to want to help- so I ended up having asthma issues and getting sick as it was so hot. I understand language barriers but this man didn't care to help or understand. From when we checked in at 4pm to now, it's gotten warmer- not cooler. Things happen. Things break.. but how the hotel responds can truly make it or ruin the experience. Won't ever book anyone here or recommend. 104 temp outside and no AC working well isn't ok.

Wonderful comfortable hotel right in the center. Very friendly staff, great breakfast. We stayed 3 nights while we went to the Bocelli concert. Highly recommend this hotel.
