Amazing experience! The hotel was clean, in a great location and had an incredible pool. The staff was so kind and helpful. Everyone was so welcoming, nice and attentive. The hotel is in a great location, it is quiet and peaceful and also within walking distance from the lake and the city center. We loved our stay here, will definitely be back.

I stayed with my family at Easter for three nights on half board. Excellent value for money. Spotless room, daily towel change, heating, TV, wifi, fridge all in excellent condition. Nice break by the lake Castiglione is a beautiful town that I enjoy visiting for its relaxing environment. I like being around its lake. The people are very nice. The hotel is in a strategic location where you can walk to any place you want.

Clean and tidy but a real step back in time. To me it looked like a old Motel from the 80's. Don't worry though its a great place with great service and a great restaurant. The owners were great and helpful.

By far one of the best places to stay! Everyone is so nice, the lady that did my checkin helped me with booking boat, find nice places to eat and to spend the day. My bedroom was beautiful, with AC, lake view. The pace also has a solarium where you can see the sunset, and the food in the ristorante is delicious. I will come back for sure!!!

Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns.

I booked the hotel for 5 days on a half-board basis. The location is ideal in Castiglione. The room was large enough for a triple, which the hotel provided. It was clean and overall OK. The only downside is the total lack of staff to contact for any requests, perhaps because everyone was busy in the restaurant on the ground floor, which absorbed everyone. Great hotel located right in the castle. Very cozy, wonderful roof terrace overlooking the lake, and there is a common living room where you can make tea and so on. Comfortable, clean, modern room, everything you need is there. Very good and tasty breakfasts. Excellent and very friendly staff. Topper near atmospheric Castiglione and within driving distance of many nice cities / villages in Umbria and Tuscany. 4 years ago for the first time and now back with our 1 year old son. Peaceful and quiet. Staff were not engaging with us as english speaking guests. Language barrier could be the reason. Otherwise, this feels like a local resort and not a tourist resort which was fine by us.

Not only is the location absolutely gorgeous, I have never in felt more welcome. The staff is phenomenal and reads every wish off your lips, rooms are very spacious, spotless clean and just great. Make sure to try their food. Its incredible. 10/10 recommend and will be back for sure

This is my second visit to Poggioleone. The location is great and the property is beautiful. Vistas to die for! Then I had dinner which was equally as good as everything else. I am always impressed with the aesthetics of this structure inside and out. Thank you for a great experience

An amazing location with breathtaking views! We went for a family lunch with our 2-year-old, and it was perfect—plenty of space for our little one to run around freely. Somewhat dated furniture but basically all you need to spend a week or more with or without kids and pets. large swimming pool. Good for walks and cycling adventures.
