Hotels with pool in Orvieto

We had to open windows which faced a VERY busy and noisy road. There were guests talking loudly and constantly smoking below our room until very late at night and all that came right into our room

There was a bit of a language barrier, but the dinner was very good. The location is convenient as it is right off the highway, but that also adds to the noise, as did the trains speeding by

The hotel is old, the furniture is old and tired-looking and the bed was not at all comfortable. We stayed early October and it was still fairly humid out, but the AC had been turned off

Bugs came in the open windows so we had to put the shutters down and it felt like we were in a hot box. Thankfully I had a small fan, but it provided very little relief

Breakfast was adequate with pastries, yogurt and cold cuts. The restaurant is next door and does not open until 7 for dinner. Food was very good and staff were helpful

Guests were working on something in the parking area and making loud motor noise until after 20:00. I don’t understand why staff allowed this

The hotel is very beautiful, quiet, and clean. Its location is very close to the Folklore and the old town of Orvieto. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly, especially Maria

The breakfast was also delicious

Good location, 10 to 15 minute walk from train station and the funicular and has a good view of the hilltop city of Orvieto from below. The included breakfast was fine.

Conveniently located hotel, although parking is a bit of a walk. Good sound insulation with the outside, less between the rooms. Accessibility a little affected by the presence of external and internal steps

It's a good hotel for short stays. The gentleman that runs this place is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable

The general info about the hotel says that it has a restaurant in site which isn't true, since it was closed

FABULOUS- Stunning property a five minute drive from Orvieto. The property is well maintained and has a very quiet pool area. The rooms are a good size with good bathrooms

We had a wedding of 60 people and had the most amazing time. Rosella and Andreina were extremely organized and accommodating. This place is truly magical; you get the feeling that you‘ve gone back in time

We stayed overnight in the fortress and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. If you are in Orvieto it is worth a trip for the views alone

Visiting La Badia is like stepping into a fairytale. My husband and I held our wedding at La Badia di Orvieto last month (finally, after having to postpone for the last two years due to covid)

The rooms are beautiful and tastefully appointed and clean. They are not overly modern though and nor would I want them to be. You feel the entire hotel is steeped in history and that is the beauty of it

Some of the reviews comment that the hotel isn’t modern enough- but that’s part of the magic of this place and I think if you visit this hotel you should manage your expectations in terms of modernity

Tremendous experience - staff are extremely helpful, the room was lovely and extremely large, and the wedding we were attending was held magnificently - especially considering there was a small medical incident while we were there

Was just fantastic . Dinner was good quality and too much!!!! Pool clean and refreshing .

6-8 courses ( depending how you break it up) and very reasonable price for lots of wonderful Local prepared food. - pastas and meats and chacquertie. Their own grown wine is very good and affordable

After being delayed for three years we finally got married at Castello di Titignano in June 2023 and what a wedding it was! The venue was spectacular, the food was incredible - we had the best time

The grounds and views amazing especially sunset and sun rise. Dinner was incredible experience - big group dinner for all guests services on platters in an ancient dining area

The drive from Orvieto is slow narrow roads uphill for 30-45 min. the place is an incredible castle with amazing views and surroundings. Living back in ancient Roman days

Something very important, if you want to reach the Hotel Virgilio in Orvieto by car, please use Via Soliana, and thus you will avoid getting lost in the narrow and wonderful streets of this city, keep this in mind

We had a great couple of nights here. Great location to explore Orvieto with its shops, restaurants, and tours of the caves etc. Breakfast was great with a good selection

We stayed at this hotel for two days. The cleanliness is excellent, every corner is taken care of. The staff is very professional, friendly and also answers every email with precise and helpful instructions

The Wi-Fi is a little bit weak for one of the nights during my visit. Luckily I had my own data card so it's ok for me. The owner/staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Virgilio

As a single female traveler I don't go out at night. But in Hotel Virgilio my room can see the whole piazza del duomo. Therefore I can see how the local people socialize in the square at night

The hotel is located in the historic center of Orvieto, with an unbeatable view and a few steps from the Duomo of Orvieto, one of the most famous cathedrals with a long and rich history

AltaRocca is A++++ The service is friendly and helpful, the property has amazing views, the excursions on offer are incredibly fun and romantic if you’re there with your partner, and the wine and food were absolutely incredible

Absolutely loved our stay here. Did the picnic in the vineyard and the five course meal for dinner. The food was amazing and the hotel rooms are beautiful! We had a view of the vineyards and will return in the future!

Breathtaking views and very comfortable accommodations. Amazing location just a few minutes drive from town. My only complaints are the AC doesn’t work amazingly and the food at the restaurant was subpar.

The merlot + cab blend was divine! Everything was a sight to take in and we have spoken on coming back if we ever find ourselves in Orvieto again!

Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful mountain view annex especially during sunset period. Resort restaurant was at Michelin level.

A very unique house in the rural tranquil environm I love to stay in this house. It is located at the hill top surrounded by trees and rural areas. I like they have a restaurant so i took half board at the house

We loved staying in this quiet space with great pressure and hot water in the shower. The food in the restaurant each evening we ate there was fantastic. The staff and owners were so pleasant and accommodating
