Wonderful Hotel, with lovely clean room and amazing rooftop views from our balcony, and within walking distance from the main attractions, great experience!!!

Nice hotel, first time here. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Near a nightclub, so not the quietest place on a Friday or Saturday night, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Clean, comfortable rooms and reasonable prices.

Grand Hotel Italia apparently just opened, and it was a fantastic experience! It's a beautiful hotel with knowledgeable and friendly staff, oversized rooms, and upgraded bathrooms. They kept some of the most beautiful parts of the old hotel, including the lobby and staircases, but everything else is totally new. We were met by a gentleman who's name is Maurice,  he gave a lot of information and advised on places of interest and great significance to the area. We later checked in, got to our room and although it seems old it is very comfortable and spacious. We also have a large bathroom with a double shower. The view from the balcony was amazing and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. There are lots of stairs (if you're on the top floor especially), so if you're like us and have heavy luggage then it'll be challenging. But beyond that, it was wonderful and I highly recommend this hotel (and the restaurant next door!)

This place is a real gem. Absolutely loved our stay here. Did the picnic in the vineyard and the five course meal for dinner. The food was amazing and the hotel rooms are beautiful! We had a view of the vineyards and will return in the future!

Quiet, lovely, relaxing, tranquil. Altarocca is a place for couples looking to get away and spend some quiet time together. The hotel is located atop a lovely hillside overlooking fantastic views of Umbria. The staff is kind, generous, and accommodating and the restaurant on the property has a large variety of exquisite wine and tasteful cuisine.

I love this hotel. My husband has come here with students for 8 years. I have accompanied him twice. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Breakfasts superb. We spent 2 weeks there and I miss it already. It feels like home.

A very unique house in the rural tranquil environm I love to stay in this house. It is located at the hill top surrounded by trees and rural areas. I like they have a restaurant so i took half board at the house. I enjoyed the tranquil environment and the food. I must come back again. Thank you all the staff.

We had a wedding of 60 people and had the most amazing time. Rosella and Andreina were extremely organized and accommodating. This place is truly magical; you get the feeling that you‘ve gone back in time. We stayed overnight in the fortress and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. If you are in Orvieto it is worth a trip for the views alone.

The property is a bit dated, but very well-maintained and clean. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is superb, plentiful, and fabulous. It's easy to get to, with convenient private parking, and well-connected to Orvieto, just a few kilometers away.

The hotel is a little dated, with small rooms and worn furnishings, but overall it's convenient for visiting Orvieto, especially if you have a car. The hotel has a large parking lot and is five minutes from the Campo della Fiera multi-story parking garage, where escalators and moving walkways quickly take you to the historic center.

Family of 4, we passed through Ovietto. This hotel was perfect for us, the value for money is great, we checked in late and left in the morning. The rooms were clean, air conditioning worked, rooms were clean, and breakfast was right to the point with really tasty Croissants. We got everything we needed.

It was a totally out of the box experience for myself and my two sons travelling g from NZ to the Italian countryside for a family friends wedding. The castle was just stunning. Generous breakfasts included in room changes and the accomodation was adequate for the three of us. Views to die for-an hours drive to Perugia/Assisi and 30 to Orvieto. Very nice hotel close to centre. Staff very informative and helpful. Finding parking near the hotel a bit difficult. However, they do have a bigger lot further away. You need to pay for parking.Don't let that put you off this hotel, it is a charming little hotel with very friendly staff.

We loved this property. The only hiccups were the shower head was not working and the floor board was coming up in the bathroom. Everything else was fantastic and the bed and room were so so comfortable!
