Helpful, friendly and English-speaking staff. Tiny rooms with wonderful views of the Duomo. You're not supposed to take your room key with you, which I find very odd but isn't a problem. Rooms have stocked mini fridges; no prices are posted but I'm pretty sure those aren't complimentary so know what you're getting into.

Great location. Had a great view of the Duomo and surrounding piazza. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent: yogurt, pastries, granola, fruit, bread, juice, etc. Would stay again.

We loved staying at Grand Hotel Italia. The location was perfect, close to everything. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large with a great balcony with views over both the city and countryside. The breakfast was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights.

I stayed here with my study abroad group and was impressed with the beauty of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, there's a more romantic front dining room and study/meeting room, plus a sitting area with fireplace. They have a bar inside, where you can get coffee and drinks. The rooms were nice, and ours had a tiny balcony which was sweet. Location is great, everything is nearby.

Zodiaco is a small and very cozy (in a good definition of this word) hotel in the center of Bolsena. It's really close to the Bolsena lake and there are lot of cafes/bars/restaurants around. The room size was good, they have A/C. The breakfast wasn't very reach, but there were options to choose (please, remember they have only 12 rooms) and they provided home-made cakes, croissants...

We spent eight nights in this hotel a stone's throw from the center and Lake Bolsena. Large and very clean rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast. Staff smiling, kind and attentive to guests' needs. Even our dog was filled with caresses and cuddles every day. We will certainly return.

We visited the property as we were on holiday in Bolsena. We have been at The Platini and the sister Hotel The Holiday on many occasions since 2006.The Masi family who own these hotels have updated regularly both rooms and services. The Platini is a typical Italian town centre hotel,giving you maximum access to the town but at a price you can afford.

Staff is very nice, room service is quick and food is good! I went here with my family and we had plenty of space with the wardrobes, beds and tables, although we only had 1 socket. Platani hotel also has their own parking and is 35 mins away from a thermal pool!

This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough. Breakfast was not good enough. Crossaints, chocos, yoghurt and coffee only were available. No gluten free options. Lactose free milk available for coffee. Very close to center.

Oddly themed Beethoven hotel in a great location right next to the water. Staff are all so amazing and helpful. Beds are pretty hard and you have to ask to manually control your own air conditioning.

Clean with old style Mediterranean look. Gave 3 stars coz it was summer and the Aircon was not functioning well. They knew it and told them but they didn't change us to other rooms. We were 4 in one room so we had to leave the windows open that night and we didn't slept well coz of mosquitoes.

Value for money Perfect at lake shore. And only 8min walk to old town. Nice outdoor area with good sized pool. But saving money by turn of air conditioning on all rooms must be stopped and leave to each guest themselves to decide. Plus that they turn on the central air conditioning again when I asked for it. Made us able to control after our desire from our room.

Nice hotel right next to the lake. Great pool. The only thing letting it down are the rooms look a little dated and the aircon seems to go off at 6am every morning so we all woke up sweating as the rooms become hot as soon as it turns off. It was August.

We were not staying at this hotel but visited our friends and had lunch.We found it to be a quiet hotel with a great aspect to the lake.It also had a great lunchtime menu and fantastic service. Two days of relaxation… an oasis of peace and serenity. The terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful and the swimming pool for exclusive use is beautiful. I did not like the arrangement of the room, a triple adapted, the beds covered the sockets, very important today in an increasingly social world and especially those who look at their mobile phones in the evening before going to sleep and put it to recharge. A good place to stop on the Via Francigena. Reasonable prices rooms. Good to have an option for 3 people to share a room. Lovely to have the view of the entrance to the old part of Montefiascone. Nice bar to sit in and have a relaxing glass of wine or beer. In walking distance to a few good places to eat.

The location, lake view beautiful. We had a balcony which was a nice change after 5 weeks traveling. The owners and staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was a trouble to them. Meals were great too.

Pucci makes you feel like part of the family with her generous manner and amazing food. The apartment was tidy and comfortable for all four of us to relax. The close towns of Pitigliano and Orvieto offered exploring and countryside to view close at hand. Loved our cooking lesson and meal with wines selected from the region. We'll be back again.

I loved the stay here. The owners are lovely and the food is among the best I tried in Italy. It was nice to have different and delicious alternatives than just pasta. Is In fact an unique experience, in every sense. The visit to the castle is something that adds value to the experience and what better guides than the owners themselves :) We will come back.

A beautiful property. We stayed in a little apartment, our breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. The owners are a lovely couple, very welcoming. The hotel's pool and restaurant are an oasis in the forest just below the wall. The only drawback was no AC when we stayed in July, but they do have heat for cold weather visits.

Nope. Mussels still had sand, they didnt clear 3 tables around us for the duration of our stay (about 1.5 hrs). The fish menu had no fish, go figure - maybe declare it as a seafood menu. The only saving grace was that SOME OF the staff was so nice - only reason I bumped the review to 3. 3 different people served us and they were all so lovely, while the others were walking around not even clearing...

We chose this accommodation as it is just a few minutes to the Fondeverde Spa. Very impressed with accommodation, restaurant and cafe on site. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant.

We dined at the restaurant. Great food, lovely service and nice Antinori Chianti Classico to drink. It was busy (Saturday night) and I think reservation in advance would be prudent. Highly recommended, we will return if in the area again.

the whole experience was unforgettable. An enchanted place of incredible beauty. I would like to make a special mention of Agostino's massages. He has magic in his hands. during the massage I had visions, like those you have during meditation and he was so good that at a certain point I had the sensation that there were three people massaging me instead of one.

Many hotels in Tuscany were closed and it was hard to find this one. When I checked in, the waiter introduced that it was left by the Medici family. There was also a picture introduction. It was an unexpected surprise. The room was fully heated and spacious, and the window opened to see the valley view. Check in There is a welcome card and gift box on the day, and breakfast is available.
