Luis and Valentina were very helpful. Property was very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

We loved everything about this property. The location was so close to everything on a quiet little street. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed in Italy. Luis went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Would 100% stay here again if we visit Orvieto in the future.

Fantastic! Valentina and Luis made us incredibly welcome. Good tips for food and a nearby laundromat plus early luggage drop off and pick up made a world of difference. Room was excellent. Much much better than we have experienced in Florence or Rome, with a lovely bathroom with rain shower and an extremely comfortable bed and sifa bed.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay. It was excellent value, adequate breakfast, comfortable room, clean, staff pleasant, free parking.....all good, thank you.

Tiny rooms, an extremely cramped bathroom, and overall a very disappointing hotel.

This place was perfectly adequate in every way. There are; however, train tracks right behind the property. Our toddler loved watching the trains, but it wasn’t exactly quiet. Parking was super easy and there’s a nice grocery store less than a 4”5 minute walk. Convenient to get to the train!

The staff were all very nice and accommodating, but the hotel was not at all what I was expecting from the photos and description. The hotel is old, the furniture is old and tired-looking and the bed was not at all comfortable. We stayed early October and it was still fairly humid out, but the AC had been turned off. Absolutely loved this hotel. Close to Dumo but on a side street. Had a small balcony to enjoy quiet of day or night. Close to lots of restaurants. Staff was great. Walking distance to all. Our room was large and very functional. Small bar downstairs for nightcap.

Railway Close to supermarket, restaurant. Free on site parking. But close railway. Fortunately no train during midnight.

Orvieto is a lovely medieval town with beautiful cathedral

Excellent location, great courtesy, spacious, clean, and fragrant rooms, top-quality toiletries. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with a strong focus on sweets. Definitely a recommended choice.

The location is everything - right by the Duomo! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - not too fancy - but you have everything you need. The bed and the bedding were quite good. They have a nice breakfast buffet with many selections. I will go back again.

We had a wonderful taster lunch / wines at Locanda Palazzone a couple of weeks ago. Several, maybe nine, wines chosen to complement each course! Expertly explained by Mariangela, both food and wine were amazing! My favourite was the Rigatoni with pancetta and a dry Orvieto white wine. Following lunch we toured the winery… maybe should have done that first!

After a truffle hunt with Maurizio, we brought our treasure to the chef at Locanda Palazzone for a wonderful lunch. We also enjoyed a wine tasting. Food and service was amazing and the location can't be beat.

The hotel was 10 min from Orvieto. It was in a vineyard and a beautiful setting. The rooms were a 4 but the restaurant was a 5. The food was excellent as was the service. The room had a lot of stairs as the bedroom was up in a loft. If you are disabled or have trouble with stairs this is not for you. The decor in the room was a little dated and could use a refresh. This property was like no other. Exquisite in every detail. It was made with impeccable taste. The art on the walls, the linens, the stairway, the outside grounds… Every detail. The service and friendly atmosphere were perfect. The rooms were top notch. The wine and wine tasting and tours were all we had hoped for and more. You cannot get any more magical !!! Nice hotel, first time here. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Near a nightclub, so not the quietest place on a Friday or Saturday night, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Clean, comfortable rooms and reasonable prices.

Grand Hotel Italia apparently just opened, and it was a fantastic experience! It's a beautiful hotel with knowledgeable and friendly staff, oversized rooms, and upgraded bathrooms. We were met by a gentleman who's name is Maurice,  he gave a lot of information and advised on places of interest and great significance to the area. We later checked in, got to our room and although it seems old it is very comfortable and spacious. We also have a large bathroom with a double shower. The view from the balcony was amazing and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. There are lots of stairs (if you're on the top floor especially), so if you're like us and have heavy luggage then it'll be challenging. But beyond that, it was wonderful and I highly recommend this hotel (and the restaurant next door!)

The property was fantastic, very comfortable, nice amenities, in the middle of the city, and amazing staff.

My room (8) was small but I was pretty comfortable. The elevator made moving luggage easier. I received a fresh towel and a made bed quickly every day. The shower was small but had hot water and good pressure. I had brought my own washcloth, shampoo and conditioner which I recommend. They do supply body wash. You're in the historic city center, and parking is conveniently located just a few steps away, but it costs an additional €12 per night. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Orvieto. The facility was very clean, nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful. We were very close to walking distance to whatever we wanted to do. We would stay there again.

We had a wedding of 60 people and had the most amazing time. Rosella and Andreina were extremely organized and accommodating. This place is truly magical; you get the feeling that you‘ve gone back in time. We stayed overnight in the fortress and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. If you are in Orvieto it is worth a trip for the views alone.

The property is a bit dated, but very well-maintained and clean. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is superb, plentiful, and fabulous. It's easy to get to, with convenient private parking, and well-connected to Orvieto, just a few kilometers away.

The hotel is a little dated, with small rooms and worn furnishings, but overall it's convenient for visiting Orvieto, especially if you have a car. The hotel has a large parking lot and is five minutes from the Campo della Fiera multi-story parking garage, where escalators and moving walkways quickly take you to the historic center.

Place was amazing. The drive from Orvieto is slow narrow roads uphill for 30-45 min. Then full stop……….. the place is an incredible castle with amazing views and surroundings. It was a totally out of the box experience for myself and my two sons travelling g from NZ to the Italian countryside for a family friends wedding. The castle was just stunning. Generous breakfasts included in room changes and the accomodation was adequate for the three of us. Views to die for-an hours drive to Perugia/Assisi and 30 to Orvieto. Staff are keen to please and accomodating.

Tremendous experience - staff are extremely helpful, the room was lovely and extremely large, and the wedding we were attending was held magnificently - especially considering there was a small medical incident while we were there.

I really loved our stay at Hotel Valentino. It's a relatively quick walk from the funiculare stazione and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect - not too far from anything and the views from our room exceeded our expectations

We had a great couple of nights here. Great location to explore Orvieto with its shops, restaurants, and tours of the caves etc. Very clean and tidy rooms. Breakfast was great with a good selection. Everything was comfortable. A breakfast has an all right variety. A wonderful personnel (I only didn't like a cleaning lady moved my stuff every time but nevertheless she is a nice woman). I want to apologize again and many times for waking up in a late time when I arrived.

Right in the heart of Orvieto! La Magnolia is a gem, charmingly decorated in a historical building with modern appliances. Our suite was very spacious, clean, quiet, comfy, easy to find! Serena is very gracious & it was a delight to see a black cat as their mascot. You can see the care & dedication she puts into this space. We so wish we had stayed longer & we would definitely book here again!

We just had a lovely visit to Orvieto and stayed at this fabulous B & B. It’s in a perfect location for touring Orvieto. So many places to eat at your doorstep. It is very clean and breakfast downstairs at the bar was great with excellent selection of breakfast sweets, meats, fruit and coffee. Would stay again.

This place is great. The owner Serena is very nice and welcoming! Clean rooms and great location. It is right on the main tourist avenue, so can be noisy at night with the window open. Would of been a top rating, but the breakfast where lacking finnes, mostly sweet stuff.? The TV lack any English channels. But the rest where 10/10. Room, restaurant, view, and service, absolutely fabulous.

Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful mountain view annex especially during sunset period. Resort restaurant was at Michelin level.

Didn't get to enjoy the spas had a short stay I would say the dining was lacking, but in general, a very beautiful vineyard in Tuscany

This place is a real gem. Absolutely loved our stay here. Did the picnic in the vineyard and the five course meal for dinner. The food was amazing and the hotel rooms are beautiful! We had a view of the vineyards and will return in the future!

It's a good hotel for short stays. The gentleman that runs this place is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The general info about the hotel says that it has a restaurant in site which isn't true, since it was closed.
