The single room with a private bathroom I booked didn't have a shower, so I had to use the communal bathhouse. The toilet was fine. Otherwise, everything was good, and the breakfast was quite rich. I recommend booking with breakfast included.
A wonderful old-fashioned little hotel. The Japanese-style rooms are large and comfortable, and there's a small onsen (hot spring) for relaxation. The breakfast area is small but has a wide variety of food. The best thing is the service. I drove here and there was no parking available, but they kindly offered to park me for free for a day. That was amazing!
Location is excellent, like 5 mins walk from the station. 8-10mins walk to the lake park.
The staff there are really friendly and nice!
Definitely come back!
It's quite convenient, located within a 10-minute walk of the station. The facilities are comprehensive, and the reception staff speaks English and are very welcoming.
This is a great hotel!
Especially I like it about breakfast and onsen .
Breakfast is the all-you-can-eat style .
You can eat rices, soup ,breads, meets, vegetables, fish, milk, tea, juice, coffee, fruit and so on.
Onsen is not wide but it’s very beautiful!
Have a good trip!
The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of items and was all delicious. If you are staying overnight, I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included.

Local Hotel with 3-4 Parking lot and 4-5 room only. very clean room and cozy. This is not 2star hotel for me should be 4star :)
Immaculate room in perfect updated condition and friendly proprietor. Highly recommended!
This was a real bargain.
The hotel is not in Suwa but it's 8km away. Right off the main highway, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping areas, and sightseeing.
There are three restaurants within walking distance and the convenience 🏪 Lawson.
The room is spacious! And emaculate. There are two double beds and a sofabed.
What really impressed me was the pillow selection; normal pillow on the bed but...
Stayed here for work for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! When I'm in the area again for work, I am definitely coming back.
It is incredibly clean, room was spacious, beds were comfy, which helped me feel well rested for work.
The person who greeted us at the reception was very nice!
Water fountain, coffee machine was available which was great!
everything, staff is so nice
Those local apples are great, we're in love
The rooms are clean and spacious, and there are plenty of amenities, so you can stay at a low price of around 5,000 yen. The owner is also kind.
It can be washed and dried in a drum-type washing machine for 500 yen.
It seems that you can do simple cooking such as boiling in a kitchenette. There is no seasoning, but it is beautiful and convenient.

I stayed for three nights and they treated me very well.
It was very convenient that it was close to my work site.
There were several restaurants nearby, so I was able to relax and have a pleasant night.
I stayed one night on the weekend. There was free coffee in the lobby, and amenities were in the room, but you had to bring them along with your towel to the public bath. There were additional amenities in the lobby for guests staying multiple nights. The parking lot was large and the room was clean. The women's public bath was a little small, but I didn't encounter any other guests, so it wasn't a...
Everything from arrival, check-in, entering the room, and check-out was very smooth.
Breakfast had a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes.
Potato croquettes with pickled plum! They were refreshing and delicious.
Thank you ♪
I stayed here because it was still reasonably priced, even though the surrounding hotels were extremely expensive during the Obon holiday.
You get used to it after a while, but the smell in the room is quite bothersome.
Other than that, it's average.
The hotel I usually stay at was fully booked so I stayed at Route Inn. The smell is quite bothersome when you enter the room.
You get used to it after a while, but I guess there's nothing you can do about it. Breakfast is included for all guests, which is a plus.
It's of the bare minimum standard.

Opposite the reception desk, there's a pile of tools and toiletries available for borrowing. Pajamas are also available for pickup near the elevators on each floor, and washing machines are free to use.
The public services are excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. Very good!
It's close to Okaya Station and is a business hotel in the same BBH group as Okaya Central. The Crown has a larger and better lounge. The morning buffet had a wide variety and the food was delicious.
My corner room on the 6th floor had a view of Lake Suwa. There were no smartphone chargers.
Central is closer to the station than Crown and is a bit more expensive. However, you have to pay for the morning...
The hotel is old; the tables and carpets weren't clean enough, and the mattresses were a bit hard. The free breakfast was a plus. For some reason, there were mostly men staying there, but that's probably related to the cheap price.
As a business hotel, I had no complaints.
We drove there and weren't particularly impressed by the location; it seemed to be a residential area with a convenience store nearby.
It's an older building, but it's been nicely renovated, with new air conditioners, ceiling lights, and refrigerators. The room was quite spacious, and we were given a room on the ninth floor, the highest floor, with a nice view of Lake Suwa.
The breakfast was average...
The room facilities are relatively old, and the hygiene standards are the worst among all the places I visited in Japan. The surrounding area is a bit desolate.

I stayed in a single room on a business trip.
They left acacia honey in the room as a gift. I was so touched!
There was also a hot spring and sauna, which was great.
I had a relaxing time. The apple bath was also great ♪
I booked a room with a bed for my disabled husband, but they gave us a room near the elevator, so we ended up sleeping on a futon. I wish I had checked before changing it!
The staff were very attentive, and the various services provided, such as the all-you-can-drink dinner buffet, the large hot spring bath with sauna, and the shuttle bus from Shinjuku, were all excellent, allowing us to safely reach the summit of snowy Mount Tateshina. Next time, I would definitely like to take the stargazing tour and see the starry sky.
We stayed for two nights and both dinner and breakfast were packed with local ingredients and regional cuisine, making for a truly enjoyable stay. The rooms were perfect for resting your tired body after snowboarding, and the large bathroom was open almost 24 hours a day. The service was also friendly and left a very good impression. As it was a weekday, the slopes were all to ourselves, and we had...
The building is old, but well-cleaned and there are no problems. There is also an air purifier installed. The hot spring bath was also nice. It's been a while since I last snowboarded, and the rental staff were kind and gave me lots of advice. The receptionist was also very kind. At the food buffet, foreigners were picking up food with their hands while tasting it, which made me lose interest in eating...

A hotel suitable for leisure and vacation. The breakfast environment and products exceeded expectations.
I stayed for two nights and it was quiet and nice.
However, I was a little disappointed that there was some rust and mold in the bathtub.
I should have had breakfast. Next time I'll include breakfast. (My colleague was very happy.)
We don't know the room is smoked in room but smelly
The staff was polite. The water flow in the bathtub was a bit weak, which was a bit of a problem.
If you want to see cherry blossoms in April, staying here is a good choice. It is not far from Sumiho, Takato Castle, Matsumoto and Hakuba, and is suitable for self-driving tours. The hotel breakfast is quite rich. Okaya Station is right at the door, very convenient.

Excellent value. Cheap, clean. Nice bathroom. Breakfast is good value too.
The location tends to be busy, but it's convenient.
I do find it annoying to hear people on the phone next door and, if you're on the first floor, there's a parking lot right in front of your room, so you can hear the sound of engines idling.
The breakfast buffet tastes good, but there isn't much variety, and it seems they don't have sausages every day.
I was also surprised to find a lot of vomit at...
Stayed there 3 nights during a mountain bike tour in the area. Rooms are clean and reasonably wide. Single rooms have a comfortable double-sized bed. Staff is friendly and helpful. I mistakenly booked a smoking room but they changed it without a problem or additional fee. The breakfast is simple, but enough, even if it is 70% Japanese style.
