5 star hotels in Shimo-suwa

The hotel is 70 years old, but it doesn't look that old; it must have been renovated. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the restaurant is large, offering a wide variety of food, including king crab for dinner. It was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive and polite.

Their all you can eat style dinner and breakfast were super nice 😋 Crab, sushi, stakes, vegetables, noodles, Chinese, Indian curry, so variety of foods.

We stayed at this hotel for a three-day, two-night family trip during the summer holidays. (Grandparents, a couple in their 50s, a university student, and a high school student) We stayed in the East Wing, which has a dated exterior compared to the newly renovated Main Wing. It's a great place for a family with children to stay for a while.

I stayed in the new building, so the building was very clean and I was satisfied, and the bath was great, but the food was catastrophic. If I stay again, I would like to stay without meals, but there is no plan for that. I hope they will offer something a little better, taking inspiration from Taki no Yu.

I love the room, very spacious, great view and stylish. Good was good too! Many choices and breakfast was good as well. I was sick before I went to bed and asked for a thermometer and they let us use one. Amazing! I’ll definitely come back with my sister and nephew! This place is very kid friendly and great for a family
