Their all you can eat style dinner and breakfast were super nice 😋 Crab, sushi, stakes, vegetables, noodles, Chinese, Indian curry, so variety of foods.

The hotel is 70 years old, but it doesn't look that old; it must have been renovated. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the restaurant is large, offering a wide variety of food, including king crab for dinner. It was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive and polite.

We stayed at this hotel for a three-day, two-night family trip during the summer holidays. (Grandparents, a couple in their 50s, a university student, and a high school student) We stayed in the East Wing, which has a dated exterior compared to the newly renovated Main Wing. However, our rooms were renovated and meticulously cleaned. Due to the Obon holiday, it was crowded with families, but the dining area was spacious, and we could check the availability of the large public bath on the tablet in our rooms, so we had a stress-free stay. The food was delicious, and there was no shortage of food, which is a nice thing, as is often the case with buffets. We stayed multiple nights, and I appreciated that the menu changed slightly each day. The staff were very friendly, and there were enough guests, so our dishes were cleared away promptly, allowing us to enjoy our meals in comfort. The amusement center, featuring a game center, table tennis, bowling, and a pool, made it a great place to stay without getting bored. Maybe it was just us, but the internet connection was poor and almost unusable during our stay. The vending machines on the guest floors didn't work with smartphones, and they were out of change (for the entire stay), so we couldn't buy anything with cash, which was a bit inconvenient. Next time, I'd like to stay in the main building and use the service again.

It's a great place for a family with children to stay for a while.

I love the room, very spacious, great view and stylish. Good was good too! Many choices and breakfast was good as well. I was sick before I went to bed and asked for a thermometer and they let us use one. Amazing! I’ll definitely come back with my sister and nephew! We stayed in this hotel last April and came back this month to go skiing. We stayed for a week. The hotel is amazing. We took a train Shinjuku in Tokyo, to Chino, then the hotel shuttle. It took about 3 hours to reach the hotel from Tokyo. The hotel staff are wonderful- making us feel very welcome. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day. Both the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet are extensive with a huge range of Japanese and western style dishes, including crab legs, tandoori chicken, etc. Even the most fussy kids will be happy. The beds are firm and the pillows are soft on one side, and beaded on the other. If you have kids, they can enjoy sleeping in your room on a futon. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of room for futons. The onsen is THE BEST i have ever used. There is skiing beside the hotel for beginners, but otherwise you will need a car, or take the Eight Peaks shuttle bus, which only runs every hour or so. We arranged a package with 8 Peaks Resort which included ski rental, and transport to and from the surrounding ski fields. It all worked very well. Most of the guests at the hotel are Japanese, so if you want to stay in 5 star hotel that is truly Japanese, rather than cosmopolitan, then this hotel is it.

We stayed in the new Main Building and the rooms were so incredibly spacious and clean. It had lovely big windows with a beautiful view of the lake.
The service was amazing, all the staff was so hospitable and helpful.
The buffet breakfast and dinner had a great range and the food was delicious.
It had a lovely onsen with a lovely outdoor area overlooking the lake. Loved our stay. Thank you!

This is a very luxurious hotel with spacious and clean rooms, and the views are excellent. Their hot springs are also quite good, with indoor and outdoor options, as well as gender-segregated baths (requiring designated clothing). The buffet offerings for both dinner and breakfast are extensive, with high-quality food choices.

I went there to try the sauna, and it was the best shared sauna I've ever been to!
However, the facility has a lot of children, so it's hard to enjoy the sauna at your own pace...
