Royal Hotel Uohachi in Toyota

Very confusing location, almost got lost. Food is hard to find but there was a grocery store . Staff is kind and food was ok

I stayed alone on a business trip.

Room:
The interior has a Showa-era feel. There was no outlet next to the pillow, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was also a bit dark, and the hair dryer provided was an old-fashioned style.
However, the Wi-Fi was very fast, so I was able to get some work done.

Facilities & Services:
There is a large public bath. The staff were generally very friendly and I had a pleasant stay. The handwritten letter I received after check-out also showed my hospitality.

Breakfast:
The selection was surprisingly wide, with some unusual side dishes, and it was delicious. It was satisfying, like a ryokan breakfast, and I would definitely stay again just for breakfast.

Nearby:
There is a 7-Eleven nearby, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. However, the parking lot fills up quickly, even on weekdays, and I had the impression that the first parking lot fills up quickly once I left.

There's no washlet. The room smells a bit irritating. An air purifier would be nice.

The food is pretty tasty. The receptionist is friendly and kind.

A well-built woman in a mesh hood who seemed to be the manager of the breakfast area was yelling at young people in the back yard.

Her tone was harsh and I felt depressed every time I started my shift. Because of it, everyone's faces were gloomy. They greeted me, but it seemed like they were crying inside.

A very old-fashioned hotel, definitely needs to be modernized immediately; The room is spacious for 3-4 large suitcases though.
