Hotels in Nagaoka

I needed a place to stay in Nagaoka at short notice, so I booked it on the same day. I think it's a convenient and good hotel in front of Nagaoka Station.

It was a nice hotel. It was clean and had a large public bath, although I didn't use it. A full range of breakfasts were available. In terms of content, it was pretty average. The room and facilities overall were clean and comfortable. The room was small, but if you just plan on using it for sleeping, it's not a problem at all. The Oteguchi side is on the downtown side. The Nagaoka Station area has been beautifully renovated, and I was surprised to find that there is a large public bath, but I think the selection and amenities are a little lacking. The price is quite aggressive, which is a shame. I felt that the layout of the front desk and the customers were at a slightly different level.

It's close to the station and downtown, and they also have an affiliated parking lot, so it's very convenient. The breakfast included Niigata specialties, which I was very satisfied with.

It is easy to get to by car, but it is far from the city center.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful. She was polite, quick with the check-in, and handed me the room key just by looking at my face.

It was clean, but the walls were thin so you could hear the people in the next room. They snored a lot in the middle of the night.

The large parking lot is available 24 hours a day, so it is very convenient when you return from a night shift. It is difficult to find a cheap parking lot near Nagaoka Station.

Comfortable room, located nearby train station and Nagaoka city hall. Got a convenient store nearby, and lively local activities. It's just that this is quite far from the niigata airport if you are travelling with a plane.

JR hotels are always a convenient choice, rooms are clean with all amenities. With respect to other business hotels, there is the added charm of being next to the station with the background sound of trains coming and going. The hotel collaborates with a nearby Pronto for breakfast.

Stayed here for one night after visiting Nishikigoi Village. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. A little expensive, considering it is a business hotel, but the location is very convenient with easy access to the train station and CoColo shopping mall under.

Good value hotel that is conveniently located to Nagaoka Station Have been staying for a few years now in this hotel as I come back to nagaoka twice a year, my only negative feedback is the bed quality is deteriorating over the years, coz the beds are not even and slanted to one side, and I suffered from backache whenever I slept on them. Hope Livemax can replace with new beds and also improve...

The foreign language level of the front desk is average, and they can't communicate well in foreign languages. When checking in, I had to wait for a long time because other guests were invoicing. Location is easy to find and is in the central, easily going to find any functional place, staff is polite as expected. However it’s a little bit not too safety, there was a lot of drunken people walking around and yelling out loud. Forget to take photo of the hotel so I upload the dinner I had at the night.

A clean and comfortable hotel with onsen located very close to Nagaoka Station. Many good restaurants nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. Priced higher for weekends but will be overpriced if exceed JPY 13,000 per night (without breakfast).

I went there on the day of the Nagaoka fireworks. I was disappointed that the service was often not available. I regret going there thinking it was the New Otani in Tokyo. I wish they would remove the New Otani sign.
