I needed a place to stay in Nagaoka at short notice, so I booked it on the same day.
I think it's a convenient and good hotel in front of Nagaoka Station.

It was a nice hotel.
It was clean and had a large public bath, although I didn't use it.
A full range of breakfasts were available.
In terms of content, it was pretty average.
The room and facilities overall were clean and comfortable.
The room was small, but if you just plan on using it for sleeping, it's not a problem at all.
The Oteguchi side is on the downtown side. As the hotel is on that side, it's good for going out drinking.
Parking is in a multi-story car park right in front of the hotel, and I think it cost 1,200 yen. Larger cars can probably be parked near the entrance, but it's best to check with Shitaro first.

The Nagaoka Station area has been beautifully renovated, and I was surprised to find that there is a large public bath, but I think the selection and amenities are a little lacking. The price is quite aggressive, which is a shame. I felt that the layout of the front desk and the customers were at a slightly different level.

It's close to the station and downtown, and they also have an affiliated parking lot, so it's very convenient.

The service is attentive. Although the front desk's English is limited, it is very welcoming. There is a hotel's own hot spring on the second floor. It is also rare for a hotel to bring its own breakfast when booking a room. The overall experience is good

Although the place is clean, its 70-80's interior is crying out for refurbishment. The breakfast is fine but starts late at 7am. The communal bath is unremarkable, yet OK. The air ventilation of the room, however, could be better.

The equipment is the Showa, but the air conditioner cools properly and the washlet is fine and the equipment is OK. The staff's response was ◎ including breakfast. The downside is that the desk is small for those who want to work at the Guttsuri Hotel. It's hard to put a computer and a notebook. The internet line was fast enough for work.
