Delicious buffet breakfast

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
When I entered my room, I suddenly noticed a ton of small flies on the wall. There were a particularly large number of flies in the air vent leading to the outside, and they were all over the room, even on the sheets. I asked to be moved, but it was fully booked and impossible.
It was November, and the room temperature rose, so I tried to use the air conditioner, but it was broken and not blowing any air.
I asked the front desk for help, but the room was lightly cleaned, and the air conditioner ended up not working.
They did offer a complimentary drink,
but there was no partial refund, so it was a very disappointing stay.

It would be even better if the front desk staff (male and female) were more cheerful and smiley!

It's a beautiful hotel. There was free coffee in the lobby, but it was broken the next day, so unfortunately it was empty. There are crab shops, udon and kamameshi shops, hamburger shops, etc. nearby, all within a few seconds' walk, and there are no noisy bars, so it's very quiet! There is also a large bath (like a family bath), which was also nice! It's not common these days to have a card key for the room, but I guess that's fine.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful. She was polite, quick with the check-in, and handed me the room key just by looking at my face.

It was clean, but the walls were thin so you could hear the people in the next room. They snored a lot in the middle of the night.

The large parking lot is available 24 hours a day, so it is very convenient when you return from a night shift. It is difficult to find a cheap parking lot near Nagaoka Station.

There was also a hot spring, and although I slept with my child, the bed didn't feel cramped.
