Kaike Grand Hotel Tensui in Yonago

I stayed here for a trip at the end of the year. It was a reasonable plan, and since my room was on the second floor, the view wasn't that great. The hotel felt nostalgic, unchanged from when I last stayed there seven years ago. The atmosphere was comforting, in a good way. These days, many hotels are renovated from apartment buildings, so I'm looking forward to seeing souvenir shops and game centers (although they are retro).
The bath had a large washing area and the floor wasn't slippery, so I was able to walk safely. The hot spring water temperature was just right, and the air conditioning was low, so I was able to relax in the water. I don't think there are any lockers or locks in the changing rooms, so you'll need to be careful with your valuables.

The evening meal and the bar next to the pool were excellent. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The bath was great. It was a shame that it was raining and we couldn't see the sunset.

It is rare to be able to stay in a hot spring hotel at this price. Dinner was served in buffet style with a wide variety of dishes, including freshly fried Tottori Wagyu beef and all-you-can-eat red crab legs, but the crab legs were a bit dry. The tofu is also super delicious, with a very bean flavor.

The room has eight tatami mats, and on the other side there is a sofa, a small table, a refrigerator, etc. The room has a nice view of the sea and the beach.

However, everyone in the hotel can only speak Japanese. Only one employee can barely speak a little English. I couldn't get a clear answer to my questions, so I had to search on Google.

We stayed for one night with breakfast included.
The view of the hotel from the entrance was good and we had high hopes for our room, but unfortunately there was no view of the ocean from the window, even though we were on the top floor.
The breakfast was disappointing compared to what we had hoped for.
The meal was served in a bento box with cold side dishes, and they made rice and miso soup for us on the spot.
There was no seafood or mountain produce, so it was a very ordinary breakfast and the kids had a lukewarm reaction to it.

The public bath facilities and breakfast were delicious~
The room condition was average. It felt old.

The hotel is cheap, but
it's not backwards!!
It just feels a little antique(?),,,
It might have been a special-class tourist hotel in the past.
It's big,
and it has all the facilities (amenities, etc.) you'd expect from a large public bath!!
In particular, the dinner buffet is the best...!!!
I want to go again~~~~

In the Kaisei hot spring area, Tensui Hotel is a hot spring hotel with a high CP value. During non-holidays, the price is not expensive and the hotel has many facilities. It is very close to the seaside and has an open-air hot spring. Breakfast is a set meal, not a buffet. It's not as good as I thought, but at this price, it's actually pretty good. There is a shuttle bus to Kaio Hot Spring Center, which is a very good service.
