The hotel environment was excellent. Out of the six hotels I stayed at during my eight-day Hokkaido trip, this Toyoko Inn was by far the best for its price range. The breakfast was also very substantial.

The hotel is not the closest to the JR station, but it is conveniently within walking distance. The room was adequate for one person and offered sufficient space for one piece of luggage. Breakfast is available from 6:30 to 9:00 AM, featuring a selection of both Japanese and Western food. Additionally, there is a convenience store situated nearby.

I understand that the hotel’s breakfast hours are from 6:30 am to 9:00 am, and we arrived at 9:02 am, slightly late as we were packing our luggage and preparing to check out. By then, the kitchen staff were already putting away the food and preparing to close the breakfast area. I quickly took a bowl of soup from what was still available. I have stayed many times, but for the first time I knew the room could be so spacious, and looking back at the fire escape picture, it turned out to be the largest room on the entire floor. Being a member, booked directly on the hotel website but showed only 1 room left, because traveling with friends needed 2 rooms, did not expect to even be able to book 2 rooms on Trip.Com.

It was clean and nice. It's close to the station and convenient for transportation.

Toyoko-inn is always my prefer choice of hotel when visit Japan. It’s good location, cleanliness, facilities & free breakfast lol. This time, it also did not fail me. Will book again if I to visit ASAHIKAWA next time.

Great, great, great, great. This hotel is really good. My friend and I stayed at this hotel. The price of this hotel is very cheap in Japan. It is also close to JR. Although the breakfast is not rich, it is free. In Japan, it is an absolute advantage. There is a lot of snow near the hotel, but because it is close to the city center, it is cleaned up in time.

The convenience store is close by, and Asahikawa's downtown area (3.6km) is also just a 5-minute walk away. I use this place frequently for both business and leisure.

The bedrooms were more than comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, there was a photo opportunity at the entrance, and all amenities were provided.

The noise of the exhaust fan running all night was very uncomfortable, and the location was a bit far away. But parking was free, so that was nice.
