Asahikawa, 7 Chome 1 Jodori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
1 night in Asahikawa, this hotel easily to get there but you have to park opposite side of hotel if hotel not free( I guess or maybe if you stay more than 1 night might be can park at the hotel area) big hotel
However, dragging luggage through the snow was truly a killer! Since I was staying alone, the room size was perfectly adequate. On the first floor, you can pick up lotions, hair care products, and more
Room is okay, there is a window but cannot open. Breakfast is good and nearby Aeon department store and food restaurant
It's about a 500-600m walk from JR Asahikawa Station, which isn't far, and the surrounding facilities are convenient
Love this place. Location, staff, services, breakfast are good and beyond the standard
The hotel has central air conditioning, but they also provided a small fan, which was quite thoughtful. The only thing worth five stars was the breakfast, it was absolutely fantastic!

Asahikawa, 8 Chome-1962-1 Miyashitadori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel location just in front of the station. Easy to access to everywhere. Bath house with one big pool without sauna.
Very convenient location access to Aeon Mall, bus station and JR station. Different choice of restaurants around hotel with direct access to convenient store. Good to have public bath within hotel.
I've stayed in at least four of them across Hokkaido, and they're consistently neither surprising nor disappointing. That day, I visited Shikisai no Oka in Biei, which was absolutely beautiful
Hotel Route Inn Grand is a decent hotel that meets basic expectations. The 'Grand' version, being a step up from the regular Route Inn, fulfilled my minimum requirements for accommodation
Very close to Asahikawa Station and easy to find. The breakfast selection was excellent, highly recommended! I stayed here twice because I had such a good experience.
Hotel is right across Asahikawa station and close to the bus station to Kamui ski links / Santa Present ski resort. Room is decent and have a large public bathroom.

A really nice hotel! They even had a talk about Asahiyama Zoo in the evening, though it was unfortunately only in Japanese. The welcome drinks were delicious, the service was excellent, and breakfast was especially tasty
Had a drink there  Suggest to make the place warmer as it’s winter and can be quite cold  The room is small expected and satisfactory  Good use of small space  Bathroom has all amenities  There is laundromat
Went in December  Lobby area is very nicely decorated  Service was very prompt and helpful  Welcome drink can offer a couple more variety eg coffee  The cafe and bar is very cosy
good location, can find it easily. Nice christmas decoration at the loby
Hotel lobby is big and the hotel staff is warm welcoming the guest, staff can speak English, onsen is good, free drink and ice cream is provided, can enjoy after onsen! But this hotel no parking, need park outside public parking with a short walking distance
Room location is great and quiet at the same time Spa amenities is basic yet sufficient for winter Bed was comfortable Parking needed to cross the road on thick snow, something to look into

Asahikawa, 6 Chome 7 Jodori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
ART Hotel Asahikawa has a great location, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, meeting our expectations, and overall it was a comfortable stay
They were also very helpful when we encountered a problem; we lost our keys, and a few days later, the hotel proactively contacted the car dealership and helped us find them, which we greatly appreciate
The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and stress-free. Given the price and location, it offers excellent value for money
The breakfast view was amazing, and the food was decent
The hotel is not exactly in the city centre, but is close to a park with easy access to local restaurants. The spa centre is well-equipped too
15mins walk from the station, hotel is quite old, booked for gym but it only opens from 11am

Hotel doesn’t provide free 2) at level 3 which is the front reception offer wide range of coffee, tea and other drink etc free of charge. 3) breakfast spread was good. 4) near many many restaurants
The new hotel room is conveniently located, right next to the JR station, near the Aeon mall, where you can shop. There's parking on the 3rd floor, and you can walk straight through the hotel lobby
Visit Japan Tourism Center at JR Asahikawa Station - you can get help to book a tour to Biei. Visiting Zoo, Asahikawa Ramen Village, Toikwa park etc, grab a bus guide from JR Asahikawa Station
There's an Aeon supermarket just opposite the hotel, so shopping and dining are incredibly easy. The room was clean, and I loved that I could control the power, AC, and iPad from there
Lawson convenient stall is right below the hotel, open from 9 am to 10 pm. Duty tax free for purchases 5000 yen and above. There is food court at Aeon shopping mall
Very close to the JR station and near Aeon Mall for dining and supermarket shopping. Clean rooms, and a nice onsen on the top floor with an outdoor bath available.

This time I didn't go to the zoo, but just explored the city a bit, and both the city and the hotel left a deep impression on me. If you choose to stay here, make sure to book well in advance, as it's quite popular!
Highly recommend this hotel in Asahikawa! The value for money is incredible. The room was much bigger than I expected, and the window view and service were absolutely amazing! Plus, it has a large bathroom
Excellent! For this price, staying at such a hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is unbeatable! It's right next to the JR station, and there's an Aeon downstairs! The room was very clean and tidy.
It's right next to the JR station and Aeon mall, and the Kita-Saitō Park behind the JR station alone is enough to explore for three days. The location is incredibly convenient!!!
The most convenient place to stay in Asahikawa! It's literally a 5-second walk from the station, so check-in was seamless. Plus, it's connected to Aeon Mall, and the front desk staff even speak Chinese
The hotel staff at the front desk are very professional and efficient, and there's even a Japanese gentleman who speaks Chinese. The public bath was a bit crowded though

Asahikawa, Miyashitadori 9-2-17 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There are plenty of dining options nearby, an Aeon mall directly across the street, and it's close to Santouka ramen. If you book in advance, the price is very affordable, making it excellent value for money
The location is fantastic! The JR station is right downstairs, and Aeon is just across the street. They have family rooms with three beds. While the room size isn't huge, it has everything you need
This hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to JR Asahikawa Station. You step out of the station and you're there! It's also super easy to get around by bus, as the stop is right outside the entrance
While the room size isn't huge, it's definitely fair for the price, and the view from the hallway is great! The hotel is very ski-friendly, offering a dedicated waxing area and storage for snowboards!
This hotel is really great! I think the location is especially good, and they have free drinks, coffee, and lattes. The breakfast is also pretty good, haha! I definitely want to stay here again next time
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – right out of Asahikawa Station, just 30 meters to the right. Plus, the bus ticket office for the airport is literally 10 steps away, a truly prime spot

Asahikawa, 6 Chome-39-1 1 Jodori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's close to Asahikawa subway station, so transportation is convenient. There's a bus to Asahikawa Airport near the subway station. You can choose your own time slot for breakfast to avoid the crowds
The location is excellent. It was close to a large shopping mall, which was nice. The breakfast was excellent. Parking was convenient. The rooms were quiet and warm. It's a friendly hotel.
Since it was my first solo trip in a while and I wasn't in a place I'd been to often, I searched for a hotel near the station where I wouldn't get lost and stayed here! It was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk a bit, but it was quiet and peaceful at night
The large basement bath, which is open until 2:00, is empty around 1:00, so I was able to relax, but the overall dim lighting was a bit creepy. Maybe the lighting could be a little better
The hotel's amenities only listed "towels," so I asked through chat if they had bath towels and was told they didn't. However, when I got there, I found bath towels
but for people who can't sleep in complete darkness but can't sleep in too much light, this might be a bit difficult

Dormy Inn Asahikawa Natural Hot Spring, Asahikawa1 / 27

Asahikawa, Gojo-dori 6-964-1 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was quite spacious, and upon entering, there was a genkan (traditional Japanese entryway), which was very Japanese in style. The water was surprisingly super soft, and the heating worked wonderfully
The air conditioning was powerful, the hot springs were fantastic, and the room was clean. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and they even offered late-night noodles. Overall, it was excellent, highly recommended!
They offered free shoyu ramen at night, and the rooftop onsen was really nice. After a soak, you could even enjoy a popsicle. In the mornings, they provided lactic acid drinks in the same spot, which tasted good too
We stayed at Dormy Inn Asahikawa and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Asahikawa Station and easy to reach many attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo and the Asahikawa Ramen Village
The hotel genuinely cares about its guests with such thoughtful services. The natural hot spring was also very relaxing; we could enjoy the falling snow on our faces while soaking in the courtyard
Our family really enjoyed our stay, though the bed was a bit small. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. They offered ice cream and probiotic drinks daily, plus free ramen in the evenings

Asahikawa, 10-3-3 Miyashitadori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A fine place, does the job well. The onsen is excellent with diffferent temperature pools, a sauna, bubble spa, and even an unsettling but effective underwater electric zapper.
Comfortable beds and large (for Japan) rooms. although there is a window that looks into the shower, which I found odd. Not sure if that’s the same in every room. Has an onsen on the 2nd floor
Rooms are great but there is a see through glass between bedroom and bathroom
Good, clean hotel. Tasty breakfast. Efficient. polite staff. Will recommend.
Good place for a nice rest. It has all the facilities.
The onsen was very nice and the location was super convenient.

Service: The staff were very dedicated, making guests feel that they were getting good value for money at a high-end hotel. Environment: My daughter said the room was like something out of Harry Potter and she loved it
The room was quite spacious and the heating was excellent. The window view was absolutely stunning. It was wonderfully warm to come back to after playing in the snow. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.
I saw reviews on Xiaohongshu saying it wasn't good, and while it wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. Breakfast options were also limited. The outdoor hot spring was a bit cold, but the scenery was nice
This was our 2nd time to stay at La Vista , a wonderful hotel with great service and foods. The environment is so amazing. Definitely recommend and we will come again next year.
Facilities: The lobby has a 24-hour convenience store for daily necessities. We had dinner for two nights and actually found the Western food better than the Japanese
This is the first time I've encountered a Japanese hotel where you have to bring your own towels from your room to the public bath, which was quite inconvenient

Asahikawa, 5 Jodori, 8 Chome−1703-49 Hotel Crescent Asahikawa, 緑橋通り (in the centre) 🧭 Map
If the hotel's spots are full, they offer a convenient deal where you can park at the nearby Times parking lots for a flat rate of 800 Yen. This is a great alternative that saves you from worrying about hourly fees
However, the true highlight was the exceptional service from the staff, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. Regarding logistics, please note that the on-site parking is quite limited
The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed
The room was compact yet perfectly functional, offering a nice view of the city street. Despite being located in a convenient area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep
Their website explains their "Kaizen" philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel
I was impressed by the comprehensive amenities provided; they had everything I needed for a comfortable stay

Asahikawa, Kamikawa District, Yukomanbetsu, 旭岳温泉, 071-1472 Higashikawa Town, Kamikawa District, Hokkaido, Japan (36 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Besides being spacious, the bathroom and toilet are spacious and have a separate toilet, providing a better user experience. This hotel is the closest to the Asahidake Ropeway entrance and is very newly decorated
The temperature was over 26 degrees Celsius at night, with a humidity of 60%. Those who are heat-sensitive should avoid this option. Overall, it's acceptable, but a bit pricey, making the value for money a bit lacking
We stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights (halfboard). Breakfast is ok and and dinner was fantastic. Just giving my feedback, breakfast time is very short, only until 9am. Should be longer for holiday hotel
The hotel is strategically located next to gondola lift to Mt Asahidake, hence perfect location after 5 hours hike to Mt Asahidake. We reached the hotel from Asahikawa by bus 66
However, there are no convenience stores nearby, and the rooms lack air conditioning or, if it was turned on, it didn't work. All three rooms we booked had this problem
If you have the budget, it's best to book a superior twin room or higher, rather than a single room

This hotel is great for family and couples. Its a bit in the wilderness and driving to the town take about 20 minutes. Parking is free abd plenty of space. Food is great in portion and plenty of choice
Stayed four days and three nights, although the room is a bit small, but not a big problem, front desk polite, comfortable environment, hotel facilities are enough to play, can soak hot spring, massage chair, restaurant (buffet breakfast fit my personal taste, time 9:00am finished, dinner 8:30pm finished), rest bedroom, children's play area, reading area
Fantastic experience! The rooms are good with 2 beds and hotel has various resting, reading, chilling, eating, and wandering areas for all ages. Kids play room, massage chair room, and etc
It's a bit out of the way, but a very new and trendy hostel. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor sections, which is quite amazing. The breakfast has a wide variety of options
Comics, magazine, and lots more books to read. The service is superb! Caring and willing to help. The onsen is marvelous! Large with 8 or more type of onsen from indoor to out door
It was great! The food was delicious. There was also a gym. We could exercise while on a family trip! The lounge at night was also great with free alcohol!

The environment here is first-rate, and the air quality is excellent. There are lots of trees around, and the hot springs are fantastic, especially the outdoor ones where you can enjoy the snowy scenery
The whole area is very clean, and there is a restaurant on the second floor, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory
This hotel is definitely worth staying at. I'm already planning to come back next year! The rooms are excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The service was impeccable, absolutely nothing to complain about there
For Japan, the room was quite spacious, and the facilities were very new. Housekeeping was prompt, and the Japanese breakfast was exquisite. The large, transparent windows offered a great view.
We booked an open-air private hot spring room, and it was incredibly comfortable to soak in the bath while it was snowing. The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese
Met some incredibly nice staff members, and the environment was fantastic! The staff were *********, super friendly, and the floors were spotless.

It's a bit difficult to get to without a car, but if you do, it's well worth it. The hotel offers a refined dinner and breakfast, clean rooms, and a sauna with a somewhat dated feel, but well-maintained
Super friendly and welcoming staff, we were being treated like their family. Historical hotel but you can definitely see the owner's effort in keeping it modernised. Yummy soba noodle too! Definitely recommend.
Unlike a business hotel, this old-fashioned hot spring inn is located on a hill away from the city center, and we were very satisfied with its location, facilities, and the simple service of the staff.
Very authentic Ryokan. Nice and quiet. The Ryokan serves excellent Japanese breakfast and Soba (freshly mad dinner. Service and hospitality was top notch. Onsen was lovely and relaxing.
We chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four
The yukatas provided in the rooms are perfectly ironed and folded, adding a touch of ceremony to soaking in the hot springs. The staff are also incredibly attentive and friendly

The food was very very nice, and the italian dinner focus was a nice change from several weeks of japanese food. Breakfast was a large american plate, which also included a tasty curry soup (love that about hokkaido)
It is a very worthwhile accommodation experience with two meals for one stay. The dinner is a two-course set menu with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking, and the service is attentive and attentive
The bathhouse is large and clean, the public space is spacious, the bed in the room is large, and there is a high chair by the window to rest and watch the scenery. The scenery outside the window is pleasant
Everything is great and definitely we will come back to staying here again
The service staff are friendly, the environment is ordinary, and the equipment is ordinary. We booked two rooms for two people. There is a 500 yen (per room) hot spring entrance tax when you check out
the staff is kind of rude. I understand their command of English language is limited. But the attitude can be seen through body language.

They even have a nostalgic 90s-era arcade! It's definitely a top choice for travelers on a self-drive trip. The owner and staff were incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and kind
Our private bath was conveniently located directly on the rooftop, situated at the highest point of the small hill, offering an amazing soaking experience

This was a wonderful experience just remember the onsen closes in the morning so wake up and go
Receptionist can talk a bit English. At night is difficult to find this hotel, very dark around. The room is very old, furnitures are deteriorated. Breakfast is ok for the first day
The refrigerator is a normal household refrigerator and it cools well, but the freezer is not usable. On the other hand, the air conditioner is not very effective
Breakfast is served on a Japanese-Western fusion plate + drink bar, which is fine. Recommended for those who want value for money
The location is not so good, far from the center of Asahikawa, but it is on a hilltop with a view of the city from the room
For the second day is nearly same as the first day. Will not recommend to friends
