Asahikawa, 1 Jodori-7 Chome (in the centre) 🧭 Map
However, dragging luggage through the snow was truly a killer! Since I was staying alone, the room size was perfectly adequate. On the first floor, you can pick up lotions, hair care products, and more
The hotel has central air conditioning, but they also provided a small fan, which was quite thoughtful. The only thing worth five stars was the breakfast, it was absolutely fantastic!
It's about a 500-600m walk from JR Asahikawa Station, which isn't far, and the surrounding facilities are convenient
There's a hot spring bathhouse on the basement level, which is convenient for showering, and toiletries can be picked up for free in the lobby, which is well-stocked
1 night in Asahikawa, this hotel easily to get there but you have to park opposite side of hotel if hotel not free( I guess or maybe if you stay more than 1 night might be can park at the hotel area) big hotel
The hotel room was really old and the bed was very thin. It was just okay for an overnight stay. The two single beds couldn't be pushed together

Asahikawa, 8-1962-1, Miyashita dori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Very convenient location access to Aeon Mall, bus station and JR station. Different choice of restaurants around hotel with direct access to convenient store. Good to have public bath within hotel.
Hotel location just in front of the station. Easy to access to everywhere. Bath house with one big pool without sauna.
Service is good. Room is clean and big. Location is good, very conveience. Hot spring is very good. It is definetely a recommended resort if you want to enjoy a relaxing trip.
Very close to Asahikawa Station and easy to find. The breakfast selection was excellent, highly recommended! I stayed here twice because I had such a good experience.
Hotel is right across Asahikawa station and close to the bus station to Kamui ski links / Santa Present ski resort. Room is decent and have a large public bathroom.
This hotel is value for money although single room is small. It is close to asahikawa jr station. There are many restaurants within walking distance.

8.7
Asahikawa, 9 Chome, 6-jodori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was quite spacious, with plenty of room to open two 30-inch suitcases. There's a sauna upstairs, but we heard it was a bit stuffy, so we didn't try it. The service was pretty good, and breakfast was decent too
A really nice hotel! They even had a talk about Asahiyama Zoo in the evening, though it was unfortunately only in Japanese. The welcome drinks were delicious, the service was excellent, and breakfast was especially tasty
The lobby has a great vibe, and they offer welcome drinks and snacks after 3 PM. There were a lot of Westerners here, likely for skiing, as the hotel provides free shuttle services to the zoo and major ski resorts
It's about a 15-minute walk from JR, which was a bit tiring with luggage. Luckily, it wasn't raining or snowing. I'd recommend taking a taxi if you have a lot of luggage or people, it'll save you time and effort
This is the best hotel in Asahikawa, and it's incredibly convenient for skiers. The room is spacious enough for two adults and one child, and the under-bed storage is a clever use of space
The room itself felt a bit dated, and the bathroom facilities were just average. However, the amenities in the public bath were Hoshino Resorts' own brand, which was a nice touch

Front desk staff are very friendly and nice and the breakfast is excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast time together with the awesome view and the food was amazing
We stayed 2 nights here during winter time. The parking is nearby and is about 2min walk away. Room renovation was kinda old but it was spacious and clean
Good service, clean rooms , best is the breakfast with great view of the whole city. The breakfast is worth staying here for!
Convenient and good location. We booked 2 rooms for our family. Good breakfats too.
Overall experience is great and we definitely will come back again
Very nice hotel, nice sized rooms, tidy and modern. Rooms cleaned and bedding changed daily. Affordable room prices. Central location in Asahikawa

HOTEL AMANEK Asahikawa, Asahikawa1 / 21
9.2
Asahikawa, 1-8-218 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There were Chinese staff at the front desk; though they weren't overly friendly, their service was generally attentive. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, but the toothbrushes and razors were of low quality
I was very impressed with this hotel. The location is excellent, close to the train station and a shopping mall. There are lots of tourist information at the lobby which they can provide you
The hotel is in a great location, just across the street from the JR station exit. The superior triple room was quite small; it was hard to even open one suitcase, let alone three
It had three mattresses on a raised platform, which was quite spacious. We pushed the mattresses together to free up some space on the platform for our clothes; otherwise, it would have been a tight squeeze
The lobby has a co-working space and offers complimentary drinks and tea. We encountered a Chinese-speaking staff member during check-in, which was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was pretty good
The hotel is new and the location is great, just across the street from Asahikawa Station. There's also a Komeda cafe about a two-minute walk away, which is much less crowded than the one in Sapporo

Asahikawa, 7-Chome 2-5 Miyashitadori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great price with excellent service. Super convenient since it is located right next to the station. It has a public bath which is really clean and not crowded if you go at the right time (for me it was 5am)
Highly recommend this hotel in Asahikawa! The value for money is incredible. The room was much bigger than I expected, and the window view and service were absolutely amazing! Plus, it has a large bathroom
The most convenient place to stay in Asahikawa! It's literally a 5-second walk from the station, so check-in was seamless. Plus, it's connected to Aeon Mall, and the front desk staff even speak Chinese
The hotel has such a comfy, welcoming vibe. Everything feels relaxed and homey the moment you walk in. Rooms are clean, tidy, and a good size (not huge, but perfectly fine for what I needed)
It's right next to the JR station and Aeon mall, and the Kita-Saitō Park behind the JR station alone is enough to explore for three days. The location is incredibly convenient!!!
Plus, there's a public bath on the 5th floor, which is incredibly relaxing after a day of exploring

Asahikawa, 6-39-1, 1jo-dori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great hotel. Price quality ratio is on point. Breakfast varies by the day, is free, and delicious. Tues-Thurs Japanese curry free is a nice bonus. Easy location, near the station. Great WiFi. Great shower. Basic decor.
The location is excellent. It was close to a large shopping mall, which was nice. The breakfast was excellent. Parking was convenient. The rooms were quiet and warm. It's a friendly hotel.
There was ice on the first floor (they served up huge ice cubes with great force, lol), and the breakfast buffet, which wasn't included in my reservation, made for a comfortable solo trip! ❣️ Everyone at the front desk greeted me with a smile, making this a very pleasant two-day, one-night trip! Thank you very much! ☺️
Since it was my first solo trip in a while and I wasn't in a place I'd been to often, I searched for a hotel near the station where I wouldn't get lost and stayed here! It was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk a bit, but it was quiet and peaceful at night
It's close to Asahikawa subway station, so transportation is convenient. There's a bus to Asahikawa Airport near the subway station. You can choose your own time slot for breakfast to avoid the crowds
The large basement bath, which is open until 2:00, is empty around 1:00, so I was able to relax, but the overall dim lighting was a bit creepy. Maybe the lighting could be a little better

Dormy Inn Asahikawa Natural Hot Spring, Asahikawa1 / 27

Asahikawa, 964-1, 6 Chome, 5 Jo-dori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I booked a Dormy Inn chain hotel, and the room was quite spacious. The rooftop hot spring was excellent, and they even had a sauna and ice cream. It was also pretty quiet at night
One of the highlights was the location—there are plenty of great food options nearby, so it was easy to find something delicious at any time. What truly elevated the stay, though, was the in-house onsen
It was a fantastic way to relax and recharge, especially after being out in the cold. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asahikawa
I had a really enjoyable stay at Dormy Inn Asahikawa. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring
The service was consistently good throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience feel smooth and welcoming
Oh, and after 9:30 PM, they offer complimentary cold noodles as a late-night snack, which is a nice touch

Nice hotel beside jr asahikawa station. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel has breakfast available if you purchased with your reservation. You can also purchase a pass if you didn’t
The hotel is located just next to the JR station, very convenient for guest travel to Asahikawa by train. Inn additional, bus terminal, shopping street and restaurant are all within walking distance
We actually found out on our last day that it's even more convenient to walk through the JR station to get there! The room was very spacious, and the hotel gave us a high floor with amazing views, which we absolutely loved
We also felt that the price we paid was a bit on the higher side for what was offered. That said, the location is very convenient. The hotel is right next to the JR station, with AEON, MUJI, and other shops nearby
I stayed at Y’s Hotel Asahikawa Station during a self-drive trip. One thing to note is that the navigation may direct you to a nearby parking lot, which initially made us think we were at the wrong place
From there, it’s a short walk to the hotel. Parking costs around 1200 yen per night. The room itself was quite standard — nothing particularly special

Asahikawa, 5-8, Midoribasi-dori (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was compact yet perfectly functional, offering a nice view of the city street. Despite being located in a convenient area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep
The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed
The hotel is located in the heart of Asahikawa , close to the Heiwa dori shopping area the Asahikawa station and the parks around there. Even it is a bit old but the room is spacious
However, the true highlight was the exceptional service from the staff, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. Regarding logistics, please note that the on-site parking is quite limited
If the hotel's spots are full, they offer a convenient deal where you can park at the nearby Times parking lots for a flat rate of 800 Yen. This is a great alternative that saves you from worrying about hourly fees
The bathroom is quite old, but it s ok, fully equipped. There is a parking area behind the hotel. You need to pay the hotel for the parking fee, including accomodation tax per person per night

Takasago onsen, Asahikawa1 / 30
7.9
Asahikawa, 8- Takasagodai (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Amazing stay with private onsen (selected rooms) and lots of amenities and facilities in an all-in-one integrated stay.
There's also a family bath in additional to the normal gender segregated pools, and there is a kids' swimming pool with a slide. Very cool find so close to the city
The independent hot spring massage at the inn was great, and the kids loved it. However, the kettle in the room was rusty, indicating poor hygiene and upkeep
The family operates their own restaurant, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful. This was our children's favorite hotel of the entire trip, providing fantastic value for money
They even have a nostalgic 90s-era arcade! It's definitely a top choice for travelers on a self-drive trip. The owner and staff were incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and kind
Our private bath was conveniently located directly on the rooftop, situated at the highest point of the small hill, offering an amazing soaking experience

If you're coming to Daisetsuzan Asahidake and your budget allows for a slight splurge, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It's truly excellent (and I'm used to staying at international chains like Marriott and IHG)
Also, it's best to stay for two nights; a bluebird day is a rare treat. On 'Xiaohongshu' (Little Red Book), this hotel is often compared to the one next door, but purely in terms of the rooms, this one wins hands down
When I called the hotel for help after getting into trouble in Daisetsuzan (Mount Daisetsu) during heavy snow, her professional and serious attitude was incredibly moving. I would definitely stay here again next time
They're very new and spacious. The hotel's dinner is also quite good, seriously. I ate so much salmon and sweet shrimp sashimi at the buffet that I didn't even want any more the next day
The only thing I want to complain about is an older male staff member, I'm not sure if he was a supervisor or something, but his attitude was terrible, as if everyone owed him a lot of money, always with a sour face
It's a sashimi free-for-all! We only came for hiking, but if you're here for skiing, it's even more highly recommended, as it's the closest hotel to the Visitor Center and the ropeway station

This was our 2nd time to stay at La Vista , a wonderful hotel with great service and foods. The environment is so amazing. Definitely recommend and we will come again next year.
Service: The staff were very dedicated, making guests feel that they were getting good value for money at a high-end hotel. Environment: My daughter said the room was like something out of Harry Potter and she loved it
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the view; it feels like an 'Overlook Hotel' from a snowy mountain, and the atmosphere is really great
The room was quite spacious and the heating was excellent. The window view was absolutely stunning. It was wonderfully warm to come back to after playing in the snow. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.
The room layout was a bit odd, with a partition in the middle, which I wasn't entirely happy with. For dinner, we had French cuisine
I saw reviews on Xiaohongshu saying it wasn't good, and while it wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. Breakfast options were also limited. The outdoor hot spring was a bit cold, but the scenery was nice

Asahikawa, Asahimachi Yuya 1 (27 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is great for family and couples. Its a bit in the wilderness and driving to the town take about 20 minutes. Parking is free abd plenty of space. Food is great in portion and plenty of choice
Stayed four days and three nights, although the room is a bit small, but not a big problem, front desk polite, comfortable environment, hotel facilities are enough to play, can soak hot spring, massage chair, restaurant (buffet breakfast fit my personal taste, time 9:00am finished, dinner 8:30pm finished), rest bedroom, children's play area, reading area
Fantastic experience! The rooms are good with 2 beds and hotel has various resting, reading, chilling, eating, and wandering areas for all ages. Kids play room, massage chair room, and etc
It's a bit out of the way, but a very new and trendy hostel. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor sections, which is quite amazing. The breakfast has a wide variety of options
Comics, magazine, and lots more books to read. The service is superb! Caring and willing to help. The onsen is marvelous! Large with 8 or more type of onsen from indoor to out door
It was great! The food was delicious. There was also a gym. We could exercise while on a family trip! The lounge at night was also great with free alcohol!

Used 20-30mins to clarify with the hotel booking agency even I shown them my booking is already covered 2 adults & 1 children Good onsen , nearby railway station, aeon shopping mall & restaurants, clean room but bed relatively small
A fine place, does the job well. The onsen is excellent with diffferent temperature pools, a sauna, bubble spa, and even an unsettling but effective underwater electric zapper.
Comfortable beds and large (for Japan) rooms. although there is a window that looks into the shower, which I found odd. Not sure if that’s the same in every room. Has an onsen on the 2nd floor
please pay attention for your hotel booking whether you already paid for your baby/ toddler & keep your booking receipt details to show them for check in, otherwise they will ask you to pay for your kids again
I lost my wallet during my stay and the hotel mailed it back to me. Although there were some communication issues and the process took some time, everything was returned intact. Appreciate their help.
Nice big hotel, large onsen area with one complimentary drink. Indoor and “outdoor” onsen with jacuzzi. Parking is 1000yen per day, spa tax 100yen. Can walk around to 7/11 and ramen eateries

Asahikawa, 095-0013 Hokkaido, Shibetsu City, Higashi 3-jo 6-chome, Japan (45 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast was served as a set meal on weekdays, but a buffet on weekends. The sauna was properly equipped with ladles and buckets, allowing for self-service. The large public bath was also clean
The rooms were average, but clean and comfortable. The parking lot was surprisingly full. The amenities and facilities were also great, making this a facility that caters to all your needs
There's an ice dispenser, microwave, and coin laundry, and you can use the water dispenser after taking a bath. You can move around the building in your yukata or other loungewear
There's also laundry clips for drying clothes, so everything is taken care of
Is this a regular lodging for construction workers? It's a little far from the station. If you take the Nayoro Line bus, it's a little closer if you get off at Shibetsu Odori 6-chome.
I'll say it's good that the rooms are non-smoking... If there was a smoking area on each floor, I'd give it 5 stars...😓

It's a bit difficult to get to without a car, but if you do, it's well worth it. The hotel offers a refined dinner and breakfast, clean rooms, and a sauna with a somewhat dated feel, but well-maintained
Super friendly and welcoming staff, we were being treated like their family. Historical hotel but you can definitely see the owner's effort in keeping it modernised. Yummy soba noodle too! Definitely recommend.
Unlike a business hotel, this old-fashioned hot spring inn is located on a hill away from the city center, and we were very satisfied with its location, facilities, and the simple service of the staff.
Very authentic Ryokan. Nice and quiet. The Ryokan serves excellent Japanese breakfast and Soba (freshly mad dinner. Service and hospitality was top notch. Onsen was lovely and relaxing.
We chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four
The yukatas provided in the rooms are perfectly ironed and folded, adding a touch of ceremony to soaking in the hot springs. The staff are also incredibly attentive and friendly

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Valley Hotel. Our room was connected twin room, very spacious and comfortable for a family of 4 people. Dinner and breakfast are both buffets with decent quality. The onsen is small but good.
It is a very worthwhile accommodation experience with two meals for one stay. The dinner is a two-course set menu with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking, and the service is attentive and attentive
They care about food waste a lot (which I absolutely understand), so they rather make a single plate for each person instead of preparing a huge buffet, and then throwing away half of the food - I absolutely welcome this idea, it’s very thoughtful
The bathhouse is large and clean, the public space is spacious, the bed in the room is large, and there is a high chair by the window to rest and watch the scenery. The scenery outside the window is pleasant
the dishes were incredibly well prepared, tasted amazing and looked delicious! The breakfast was also quite interesting, a single plate with all kinds of stuff - curry, bread, butter, sausages, salad
Some of the staff speak very good english as well, which made the communication quite pleasant. The dinner was an absolute highlight, a 5 course dinner with vegetables, fish etc
