My family and I went there over the New Year holidays. We had heard that the hotel was old and small, and that the buffet had little seafood despite being close to the sea. However, the hotel staff were very friendly, the Japanese-style rooms were clean, and we ordered special sashimi platters and spiny lobster, but even without them it was still very satisfying.

This hotel is conveniently located beside the sea world but it is old and not very well kept. It has a good breakfast buffet spread and staff were friendly and helpful.

I'd been to Kamogawa Sea World once before, over 20 years ago, but it'd been a while since I'd last visited. Last time, I was staying at a hotel quite far from Kamogawa Sea World, but this time, it was next to the hotel, so it felt like a great deal. I was particularly impressed by the killer whale performance, which was amazing. (ﾟ∀ﾟ) 🥲 If I have the opportunity, I'll definitely come back. 👏

It was a Japanese-style room, but there was only one futon, so I couldn't sleep well. There were only a few amenities. The food was delicious.

Japanese style, spacious, with the sea outside the window and a magnificent view. The hotel is old, but clean and hygienic. If you cannot book dinner after 7pm, the surrounding restaurants are far away.

It was good room with nice view from outside hot springs. Bathtub was a little bit small but, it was great!

Had 3 nights stay here with my wife and 3 year old son. The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean and the waves are so mesmerising and therapeutic. We went during spring time - Sakura season and the temperature was about 9-17 degrees. But the room air conditioning is pretty good. It regulated the heat we required. For this price, it has an open-air bath, and it's spacious! I was so happy to have found such a great place to stay for Christmas!

Overall, the balance is good, but the foreign staff could do with a bit more training. Their Japanese is excellent, but even though they asked me to park in the parking lot across the road, it was still a Japanese staff member who pressed the push button for the traffic light! Attention to detail is key.

Really nice ryokan with in-room open air onsen. We booked this place because it is infant-friendly and it did not disappoint. Our 9-month old got to enjoy the onsen and slept pretty well on the futon as well.

Seeing the reviews, i find my stay the contrary. This hotel is one of THE BEST hotels ever. Very warm hotel owner and entertaining as well. Not to forget the very great dishes being served. You will feel at home when you stay here. The style of the hotel is unique since its rustic and antique style but its so great. The hotel was built in a good time, so it's fun just to look at imported antique furniture and miscellaneous goods. There is also a recycling market on the last Sunday of May and October.

Very beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of the hotel. The owner wa so friendly and it felt like she really sees to each guest one by one to make their stay a pleasant experience. Only minus was that the WiFi was to weak to be connected to from the room.

The antique furniture was lovely. It's antique, so it smells old, it smells like my grandmother's house. The food was delicious and the dishes were nice. The garden is also nice, so I want to go there from noon this time. A short drive from Kamogawa Sea World. Free parking available and staff is waiting for you outside hotel entrance. Lounge is free to use and provides beer during check in hours. My room is in the annex building, with panoramic sea view and a private onsen bath. Food is delicious.

Very old property. Needs urgent upgrade. Very expensive considering the facilities they provide.

My bathroom is break. There is no wifi, no brush-taste in the room. The room is not clean. Good point is the room is huge so it is good for many people stay, and from here you can access to many locations along chiba coastline.
