Please note that if you do not hand in your ticket, there will be no room service from the second night onwards.
Next to a mall. Convenient for meals. And some shopping . A pity there's no public bath. Coin laundry available. . Staff service is fine. Except when I checked in. I got a lady staff coughing non stop and trying to explain to me the check in details.. she was not wearing a mask. That's not nice and I was upset. But had to cover my nose and mouth with a tissue paper. As I was caught suddenly facing...
It was really close to the station and next to a shopping mall, so it was very convenient! The room was also very clean and great.
The room is clean and spotless. Amenities such as face/batth towel, coffee drips, face cream etc are self-helped. We ran into issue checking in as we reserved 2 rooms for 3 pax. Somehow the reservation was confused and we had to pay additional for 3rd person. Thankfully it was resolved by Trip.

It's close to the station and very convenient. If you reach gold rank in the hotel's app program, you can extend your stay for free by one hour. I'll stay here again next time I go to Tsukuba.

Honestly it’s really normal, same price you can find a better choice. The front desk looks busy all the time and they didn’t give me any clothes (that they ask all the customers need to wear) and towels (in a bag). Most of device makes me confused, fortunately, the people who lived with me helped me. And the shower you need to push it almost all the time. When I check out I asked the front desk Is...
Service: The receptionists were incredibly patient and attentive, providing excellent service. They showed me bus routes, helped me book a taxi, and offered the hotel's bicycle rental service – perfect! I also apologize for the inconvenience I caused the hotel due to my own negligence; it was a lifesaver! I haven't used cash in China for over ten years, I'll be more mindful in the future. Environment...
(Good Points) Good value for money. The spacious floor space was nice. (Cons) It's old. The wallpaper is peeling. The electricity doesn't come on when you insert a card. You can only turn the lights on and off with a switch. Parking is available, but at 1,000 yen, it's not cheap.
Second time, I stayed here during a conference at the University of Tsukuba. The location is very convenient and easy to reach. The hotel staffs are very nice. Highly recommended.
Hotel is very close to the bus station as I had to take the first bus to Narita airport it was the best location for me. Very quiet, fast check in, clean room, it was a perfect stay.
The room is very spacious, much larger than expected. Although it is in the annex, it is very convenient. After getting off the bus, you can take the elevator to the second floor of the main building at Tsukuba Center, and then take the elevator/stairs down to the first floor to check in. There is a reminder to recycle toothbrushes inside. It is worthy of being Japan, environmentally friendly♻️ The...

Clean rooms and wonderful service
Best place to stay in Tsukuba, offering easy access to all essential facilities
Rooms are small for 2persons. No separate beds. Limited food options. Only Japanese breakfast is served.
A very nice hotel in the heart of Tsukuba. We had a great view from the 9th floor and the room was really comfortable. Tsukuba is a beautiful city and can be explored very conveniently from the hotel as a starting point.
There is a small park at the door, full of green space, and it is also convenient to shop nearby. Tsukuba has a beautiful environment, no noise at all, very quiet and peaceful, and it is also convenient to eat nearby
The staff was very friendly and the environment was quiet and relaxing.

Kanto region, Tsukuba, Kenkyugakuen, 5 Chome?8?4, 305-0817 Tsukuba, Prefektura Ibaraki, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
When I checked in, I was given a small gift of my choice: packaged chocolate, a face mask, or drip coffee, which I was happy about. There was tea in the room, but I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee.
The hotel is great, the onsen is small, the 2nd floor was a bit weird, you get with your yukata, and there is a fancy restaurant there. I liked the hotel, is family friendly but the beds and pillows were really terrible. I had a bad sleep. Super hard.
We are staying here during our business trip. The room's are bigger compared to standard rooms in Japan. We tried other hotels in this area but so far the Bestland is our favorite place to stay because of the room size. Breakfast compared to other places has not such a variety but again, our priorities are the rooms.
the staff are very polite..the breakfast are also good..
I would like to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, with a shopping center just nearby, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the breakfast is impressively abundant with a variety of delicious options. Most importantly, the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready...
Great location, great service and the room is big compared to most hotels in Japan.

This hotel was conveniently located near the Tsukuba Station. The Japanese twin room we stayed in was clean. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel's facilities and service.
Super clean hotel with real Japanese vibe. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is a key, I can walk to Takakura Coffee, Torikichi yakitori, TonQ, La Cote d'Azure Cake Shop, Hama Sushi, etc Highly recommend when you roam in Tsukuba!!
Location and hotel is good for business travelers
I feel that the rooms in Japanese hotels are not as big as those in China.
Although the building is old, it has a sense of calm and security that modern hotels lack.
I stayed here on business at Tsukuba University. This hotel is often crowded with people on weekends for weddings and the like, and although it is old, there were no particular issues. It was also convenient that there was a microwave in front of the elevator on the guest floor. To get to Tsukuba University, it was a short walk to Tsukuba Station, then a bus ride from there, about 30 minutes. There...

The room was bigger than expected
Honest, kind, essential, and yet, there's a wall filled with amenities for those who may want something extra, at no cost. Also a welcome drink.
Nice staff who is willing to help and resolve my issue. Room size is a bit small but value for money.
There's a sense of time and friendliness to it. The location is also quite good, so it's accessible.
Good location, 10 minutes walking from Tsukuba express station, restaurants and convini at walking distance, WiFi works well, good Japanese style breakfast. Staff very kind and helpful.
It's really dirty. There are stains all over the quilt.

The facilities are a bit old, and the rooms are small, but they have everything you need. The breakfast is quite plentiful, with various small fish dishes.
The drink service was excellent.
The room is spacious and clean, but the location is quite far.
It's good. You can store your luggage after check-out.
Location was near to our church event, but poor of amenities. Breakfast not satisfied.
The hotel receptionist has a bad attitude. Especially the middle-aged woman had an arrogant attitude. Many of the facilities in the room cannot be used. The TV doesn't turn on, and the WiFi router suddenly goes off. The temperature of the water cannot be controlled, and every time the water comes out of the faucet, the faucet rattles and the water does not come out satisfactorily. There are few outlets

Although it's a men's/women's alternating bath, having an open-air bath is a big plus. They don't provide facial cleanser, so it's best to bring your own. There's also all-you-can-eat ice cream and coffee. For me, it was more than enough.
On the way to Mito, I was tired from driving, so I decided to stay overnight at this hotel. There was a large public bath, so I was able to relax. I felt much better, so I headed to Mito early the next morning.
It was so good that I would definitely like to use this hotel again when I go to Tsukuba.
The luxurious hot springs can sometimes be reserved exclusively for you. You can experience an extremely luxurious feeling. I used them on a business trip. It was especially great to soak in the hot springs after a day of standing at work!
I forgot to take a picture of the room again, haha. The breakfast was delicious, the hot springs were great, and it's a great place to escape the summer heat.
It's far from Tsukuba Station, so it's safer to travel by car or taxi in summer and winter. The facilities were clean and I would definitely use it again. There is only one large public bath, so men and women are allowed to use it at different times. The number of beds may differ from the photo, so please read carefully when making a reservation. The double room had a double bed, not two. I didn't...

Suitable for mom and baby. The staff is nice and the vibes is also wonderful.
Nice staff. Good onsen hotel on the North side of Tsukuba.
The room was nice, bathroom too. We could hear the noise from the hallway but not from other rooms... The onsen is really really beautiful! Women part, the shower area is a little small but the sauna design is nice and the exterior baths are so cool. I wish I could have relaxed in the massage chair too, but there is only one so it's busy... The breakfast was various ! It was too late to have the cooking...
The hotel provides great room with excellent confort and equipment. Two major highlights are the onsen bath with extensive opening hours and the breakfast with daily fresh offers. The personnel is always responsive, efficient and friendly.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it was quiet at night so I was able to get a good night's sleep.
Great bed in the guest room. Perfect air conditioning and well-cleaned rooms. sleep comfortably and peacefully. I see no reason not to stay again.

It’s clean but it’s old so it can be dusty. I love the tub very big! And the hot water is literally boiling water 😆 So be careful Recommended as a budget hotel!
It's an old building, but it doesn't bother me. There's a convenience store right in front. There's parking in front of the entrance, but it can fit about 10 cars. Amenities include shampoo and conditioner. Body wash is soap. If you're particular about your amenities, you should bring your own. I was very satisfied with my stay, which cost less than 4,000 yen.
The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Next time I'd like to stay with breakfast included.
No outside call, No weight scale but has Free Parking. It's very basic to stay as a price
This was my second stay and I am satisfied again. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
It is a typical business hotel. Basic amenities such as shampoo and toothbrushes are provided. It is a little far from Tsukuba Station, but there is a bus.

A family trip, the hotel is very conveniently located next to the train station! Affordable price! Will come again next time I have the chance!
The room was pretty average, but it was nice to have a large public bath. The breakfast was delicious. There was a wide variety of drinks and other items, which was great!
There was a large public bath, and the women's bath had a wide variety of shampoos to choose from. The hair dryer was also a ReFa brand, which I was very happy about. The room was spacious and clean, so I was very satisfied.
After reading the reviews, I added breakfast when I checked in. It's a hassle to go out for breakfast in the cold, and the selection is limited if you buy it the day before, so I was grateful. The large public bath was comfortable as expected. Maybe the walls are thin, but I was bothered by the snoring of the person next to me.
It's been renovated. It's pretty good. It's better than before. The TV has also been replaced. It's very comfortable to stay and the bath water is very good Sound insulation is also good
The hotel is really great! Although the staff at the front desk can only communicate in basic English, they have a very good attitude and are very enthusiastic. There is also free beer and soda drinks upon entry, and each resident can receive one drink. My room is a ladies-only area. In addition to the room card, there is also an access card for the ladies-only area, which makes me feel particularly...

I booked through Jalan, and it was less than 10,000 yen per person, with a plan that included Hitachi beef shabu-shabu, as shown in the photo. Because it was cheap, the room was a Japanese-style room with a separate bathroom and toilet, but I had no problems staying there. There's also a cat cafe and manga space in Kannai. You can choose your yukata. The bath isn't a hot spring, but it was artificial...
In short, all the food was superb. The sashimi was fresh and delicious! The inn staff were also very kind and attentive, which was wonderful. I had a single room, and although it was a bit old, it was very clean (the bathtub curtain could probably be replaced).
The large public baths were great. When I used them, there were two large public baths for men.
I stayed in a Japanese-style room with 12 tatami mats with my wife and a 2-year-old child. The moment I entered the room, it was timely, but it felt a little squeaky, and when I turned on the air conditioner, it smelled moldy. However, when I rented an air purifier with an odor removal function and turned it around, the odor disappeared and it was very comfortable. It was good for me personally to...
Stayed in this cosy and quiet little hotel for 4 nights. Front service was excellent. Breakfast was simply amazing. Room was a tad too small, though.
A older style hotel. Service was good. And so was our room. But it is not a modern hotel. I would stay again because I liked the character of the building

People are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is good. For a foreigner like me it's very helpful and they have helped everyday possible.
Honestly a really great place to live. They have amazing breakfast services and great staff that keeps everything moving. Lived there for 2.5 months with friends and did not have any complaints.
I came here for the purpose of being ready for the round very early next day. The reason I have chosen this hotel is various affirmative comments of this site and moreover the incredibly inexpensiveness. In reality I am fully satisfied to stay for a just mere night with only 4,500yen. There’s no disappointment such as space, hot water. Rather than such service, I love charming receptionists welcoming...
Expensive place but very well organized and maintained well
This hotel is really also good. But no so much. Rooms are not so big. But it's good. I liked it. And they have cycle for guests!
Great value. Got free use of a yukata and bicycle too. Has a bath which is uncommon in japan and tea and kettle in the room. Friendly and not bad for english speakers either. Location was about 25 minutes from station by walking. The common area has lots of goodies, ill leave you to find that out yourself.
