Although it's a men's/women's alternating bath, having an open-air bath is a big plus.
They don't provide facial cleanser, so it's best to bring your own.
There's also all-you-can-eat ice cream and coffee.
For me, it was more than enough.

On the way to Mito, I was tired from driving, so I decided to stay overnight at this hotel. There was a large public bath, so I was able to relax. I felt much better, so I headed to Mito early the next morning.

The luxurious hot springs can sometimes be reserved exclusively for you. You can experience an extremely luxurious feeling. I used them on a business trip. It was especially great to soak in the hot springs after a day of standing at work!

I forgot to take a picture of the room again, haha. The breakfast was delicious, the hot springs were great, and it's a great place to escape the summer heat.

It's far from Tsukuba Station, so it's safer to travel by car or taxi in summer and winter. The facilities were clean and I would definitely use it again. There is only one large public bath, so men and women are allowed to use it at different times. The number of beds may differ from the photo, so please read carefully when making a reservation. The double room had a double bed, not two. I didn't check this enough...

It's a bit of a walk from Tsukuba Station, but other than that it's comfortable.
