This is considered a relatively good hotel in Miyako Island. The surrounding area is incomparable to those in China. It is best to make reservations in advance for meals, as the restaurants open every day are different.

There are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age

Reservations are generally required for the resort's restaurants, so ask the front desk for assistance. The front desk service was excellent!

The scenery and service are top-notch, except that all dining options call for a reservation—even though the resort has 20 restaurants

The room rate is totally worth it! Almost all restaurants in the park require reservations for the evening. We didn't make reservations and went to a Chinese hot pot restaurant, #LittleFatSheep, which was also delicious

The southwest coast of Miyako Island is affected by the Kuroshio Current and monsoons, making it prone to washing upboard trash from overseas during winter to spring

The hotel said they have staff and volunteers to clean it up, but the trash collection speed might not be able to keep up with the rate at which it washes ashore 😂

However, the seawater is still very clean, and the photos are beautiful. Walking outside the hotel is almost impossible; you might consider renting a car or taking a taxi

We stayed here for our honeymoon. From the view from our room, the terrace, the private beach, and the service, it was truly the best hotel in every respect

The breakfast options were Japanese, Western, and Miyako soba, and they were all delicious, but the Miyako soba was definitely the best!! We also had a BBQ on our room terrace, and both the meat and seafood were delicious

I highly recommend it! It's a little far from the city center, so if you want to go out drinking in the evening, you'll need to travel, but for those looking for a quiet, relaxing time gazing at the ocean, this is the perfect hotel

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on our honeymoon. The private beach was so beautiful that we visited many times. Renting the entire building with its attached gazebo was very luxurious

The hotel is wonderful! All the amenities are on site, including the beach, pool, and restaurants. It's a bit out of the way, with no shops or restaurants nearby. Electric bikes are available for rent right at the hotel

The location and view were amazing! You can walk to Yonaha Maehama Beach right in front of the hotel, and there's also a pool, so it's doubly fun. I'd definitely like to stay here again

The most worthwhile experience has to be the sunset BBQ! While the food itself is decent and not particularly amazing, when the sunset begins to paint the sky red, transforming the entire sky and sea into a flowing golden canvas, you'll find that the taste of the food completely unimportant

There are plenty of turtles at Wai Wai Beach right in front. No need to pay for a hopping tour. Just put on your swimsuit, go out, see the turtles, come back to the hotel, and wash up

There's plenty to eat at the breakfast buffet. No need to take the shuttle to another beach. There's ice in the laundry room on the first floor of the hotel

You can get some ice to take with you, then go out to the beach and have a beer with the turtles. Then come back and wash your swimsuit in the laundry room

My first impression was that there weren't many hotel staff. It was my first time experiencing things like having used towels and trash cans left outside if you wanted them changed, but I thought it was okay

Tomoka is one of the most helpful staff members I've ever seen, not only did she told me everything about the hotel and getting around, but she also went above and beyond to help me solve an urgent problem

There are shower facilities next to the parking lot, providing toiletries and slippers for those who have just finished swimming at the beach

I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!)

The space is very large, comfortably accommodating three or four people, making it excellent value for money. The scenery is also great, and the location is superb, with restaurants all within a 5-minute walk

Overall, it was quite good, clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was very strong. The blankets were a little thin. The hotel's location is also good; there are many restaurants downstairs

I will definitely be staying at Hotel Locus again when I do

We stayed in a maisonette on the second floor. The maisonette's stairs were practically a ladder

There is also a laundry machine that can be used. The dryer doesn’t really work well and it took quite a long time before all of our clothes were dry. Overall I would stay here again as the price is very cheap

Also they are very thoughtful to have helped arrange everything for you, from the time of breakfast to the moment you leave the hotel, they have got it all sorted and made sure also that we are fine with every decisions

The rooms are clean and the hotel is well kept. Highlight is the view from the rooms of the blue sea (partly a port ). You can keep the balcony windows slightly open and hear the ocean waves all night

Family trip and chose Miyako Daiichi hotel for location. All of the staff were courteous, helpful and thankful for holding our baggage until we could check in

I was so satisfied with my stay last June that I returned. As expected from a Japanese business hotel, the rooms aren't large, but they're well-equipped and clean

Despite being west-facing, the views are stunning, stretching out to the ocean. I was particularly pleased with the variety of traditional Okinawan breakfast options

The first floor is the island supermarket. The reception is on the second floor. The rooms are on the third and fourth floors. Breakfast is an additional 1,000 yen. Face towels and bath towels are changed daily
