I arrived a little late. This inn has a spacious, relaxing lobby. There are paintings and flowers on the way to my room, which creates a relaxing atmosphere. The room is also spacious and comfortable. The Japanese style is nice. I haven't had the chance to relax on tatami mats recently, so it's very relaxing. It reminds me of my parents' home. I can feel the comfort of tatami mats. It's a little far from my room to the hot spring, but considering the health benefits of walking, it's just right. I was surprised when I got into the hot spring. The water is thick and salty. It's not too hot, so I can take my time. It's the perfect water for me. There's also a cold bath. I can reset here and then re-enter the hot spring. Dinner was sumptuous. We had kiritanpo hot pot, grilled pork, sashimi such as squid and tuna, chawanmushi, tempura, and more. I also ordered sake. It was a tasting of three different types of local Akita sake. The squid sashimi was delicious, with a creamy texture. The grilled pork was generous and the refreshing sauce was also delicious. The kiritanpo had a rice-like texture and was satisfying to eat. The natazuke pickles had a nice texture and a strong koji flavor, which made the radish taste delicious. The food was delicious. In the morning, we could see the autumn leaves from the breakfast area. It was nice to be able to see such a beautiful view from the morning, which made me feel good. Breakfast was a buffet. There was a wide variety of food, from local dishes to more common ones. The curry in particular brought out the flavor of each region. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth and fragrant, and it was a delicious curry. The stewed beef was soft and fragrant, and the shumai was crumbly and delicious. I think the food was good. This is an inn where you can enjoy your favorite type of hot spring and have a delicious meal. I would like to go again.

The hot spring facilities are relatively old, but the spring water is very slippery

It seems like the hot spring water is the best because it is an old hot spring. It feels like a tsuru tsuru...
There may be individual likes and dislikes, but...
Breakfast is in the middle of the upper, middle, and lower, and if you compare it to the hotel facilities or price range, it is like an ordinary business hotel...
The surrounding scenery is not that satisfying for foreign travelers.
However, considering that it is an old hot spring and the hot spring water quality is excellent, it is somewhat understandable.
If you want to enjoy the hot spring water quality rather than the scenery, I recommend it!

The private room dinner was about 11 courses and we got tired of eating!! Super fresh seafood. The servers were super polite, Knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail despite the language limitations. The hot water is salty and soothing for the skin. Breakfast buffet had continental items; a plus.

I stayed here on my first trip home with my toddler. Since I don't have a home anymore, I looked for a place where I could sleep on a tatami mat, there was a washing area in the bathroom, and it was north of Akita City, and I decided on this place. I was very satisfied with the plan that included dinner and breakfast, and the room was spacious. The facilities as a whole seemed old, and I was a little surprised that the air conditioner would suddenly make a loud noise, so I was nervous that my child would wake up in the middle of the night, but both my child and I slept soundly. I did. We had dinner in a private room, and it was delicious with local ingredients. After dinner, when I returned to my room, I found my futon spread out and grilled rice balls for my midnight snack. It looked delicious, but the dinner was so filling that I was too full to eat it. It was a shame. The breakfast buffet was a large venue, and it was also delicious. They also had Babahera ice cream, so I got that. The day before, the lady selling Babahera ice cream wasn't there where I expected, so I regretted not being able to feed my child some. (This is off topic, but when I was a child, I think I saw it at the beach, at baseball stadiums, at sports festivals, and along bypasses surrounded by rice fields.) I also get the impression that the public bath is a little old. Personally, though, I don't really mind it, probably because my purpose is to return home rather than sightseeing, and it's spacious enough to relax. It's nice that you can enter until 9:30 a.m. (even late at night). Some people want more nature around them, but it's a short drive from the center of Akita City and Akita Station, so it's convenient for transportation, which was great. I would like to use it again.
