Close to station, can get to geto ski by free shuttle bus at the station. Room changed from smoking to non smoking. Bathhouse in annex

I stayed here while visiting Iwate to snowboard. I would recommend it for anyone looking to keep accommodation costs down.
However, regardless of the price, I didn't feel the quality of the service or facilities was very good. The boiler was broken on the day I stayed, so I was without hot water for two days, including the following day. I also requested cleaning, but they refused to accommodate.

It was a very disappointing stay.
I booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, but when I checked I was told that this only included breakfast. I asked to confirm that dinner was included, but without any satisfactory confirmation I was told in a very forceful tone, "It's just breakfast!"
After arriving in my room, I checked my reservation email and found that it did indeed include dinner and breakfast.
When I pointed this out to the front desk over the internal line, they only apologized with a "I see. Sorry," and told me to come to the front desk to collect my meal ticket.
I can't help but wonder if I would have received a refund if I hadn't pointed this out myself, and how they would have handled the situation.
Dinner was also supposed to be a teppanyaki course, but the teppanyaki never arrived.
From my perspective, I have to say that this hotel is close to being a scam.
I will never stay here again.

[Close to the station, super-fast Wi-Fi, a great option for business travelers, but be careful with parking]
▼I stayed in a single room for a business trip in early December 2025. It was well-equipped for business use and extremely convenient as a base for activities around Kitakami Station.
The room was compact but functional, and the Wi-Fi speed was particularly noteworthy. It was extremely fast and stable, allowing for stress-free PC work and online meetings.
Also, there's a coffee server in the first-floor lobby, so you can always enjoy a hot cup of coffee for a quick break—a simple but welcome touch.
For dinner, you can enjoy delicious soba noodles or set meals at Midori-an, located on the first floor of the hotel. Even if you don't have the energy to venture out to the downtown area, it's very convenient to be able to enjoy delicious soba noodles or set meals within the hotel.

Since I arrived at night, the free hotel parking lot (approximately 60 spaces) was already full. I used a nearby multi-story parking garage, but be careful if you check in late.

Although it said there was a large public bath, it was listed as "for men only." If that's the case, please correct the information.
There was a smoking floor, so the whole hotel had a strong cigarette smell. Especially in the elevator.

The price was cheap but the comfort was satisfactory. The soba restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was cheap and delicious, and the breakfast was surprisingly cheap but very delicious.

I think the room itself was generally clean.
However, there were few amenities and I could hear people in other rooms, but considering the price I was satisfied.
