Hongyekan is located in Hanamaki Onsen Village. It costs about 3,400 yen to take a taxi from the airport. The hotel facilities are newer than expected. It should have been renovated. Kokoro no Toki, Jusangatsu is the most modern onsen hotel I have ever stayed. It is nothing like most of the traditional onsens I have visited. Jusangatsu is new generation of onsen, it is set up more like an up​-​market​ ​apartment, everything they do i​s​ to impress.​ And They have done that.​ Importantly, the chef ought to be complimented for the superb dinner.
