Morioka, Moriokaekimaedori 1-44 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is only 1 minute walk from Morioka Station. If you have a luggage there is an escalator you can use. The room was a little bit larger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms (most hotels in Japan are small) which was nice since I shared the room with 2 others and we had 3 large luggage. There is a shopping mall (Fes”an) near the hotel, has a lot of restaurants to choose from and a grocery store...
Great location right next to station, spacious and clean rooms, great breakfast. However no laundry in the building which is quite odd.
I recently had the pleasure of staying here during my trip, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service.

Conveniently located beside JR Morioka station and Iwate Galaxy Railway (IGR) Line with the bus terminus across the road in front of the hotel and also housed within the same building as the FESAN Shopping Mall. Room was spacious and the breakfast (buffet style) in the hotel’s Chinese restaurant was good. City sightseeing bus stops at 5pm so I opted to walk to Morioka Castle/Park which took about...
Poor breakfast, poor room, but near the station.

Location is very good! Breakfast is good, but food are the same everyday. Staffs are very helpful!
I was satisfied with everything: the staff's service, the facilities, the food, and the price. Although it was just a one-night business stay, I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I'm in Morioka.
The hotel isn't new, but everything was clean. The location is excellent, with lots of eateries nearby. We stayed for one day, and everything met our expectations.
Nice and clean hotel . Convenient to train stations and many eateries outlet . Need to pay for parking . Friendly hotel staff
Convenient location, but the room had a slight odor.
Conveniently located near the JR station, offering easy access to dining and shopping. The facilities are newly renovated, and the rooms are also quite spacious.

I've stayed at many hot spring hotels, but this one was exceptional in every way, with a great attention to detail. Even the fresh flowers on the wall outside the room were changed daily. I stayed in the Japanese-style room for three days and was almost reluctant to leave. I'll definitely come back next time...
A high-end hot spring hotel with a tranquil surrounding environment, spacious rooms, attentive service, and high-quality food – an unforgettable experience.
The views and cuisine were superb, but what truly elevated our experience was the staff's exceptional and meticulous service. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and indulged in the outdoor hot spring multiple times, leaving both our minds and bodies completely rejuvenated.
It was my first time staying in a Japanese hot spring hotel and I had dinner in my room. There are many kinds of food, the rice at the end is special but I can't eat it anymore, the hot spring has indoor and outdoor. It's big, has a great view and a sauna. There are many styles of shower gel and shampoo to choose from. The breakfast was also great. The room is big and the view outside the window is...
The most Japanese day of the entire trip, with two meals and one night, a pine forest in the snow, and an almost exclusive hot spring. It is really the tranquility that can be enjoyed in a small city. I really recommend everyone to stay here!
Good hot springs, attentive service, reasonable price and delicious breakfast.

I was considering Fujizo because I wanted to soak in Shirozaru-no-Yu, but when I found out that the annex offers free shuttle service if you book through their website, I decided to stay there instead. The annex's greatest feature is the inn's spacious, comfortable baths. There's a large bathtub on the spacious terrace, large enough for three people to comfortably fit in. The brightly lit sinks are...
A very nice room with a sofa area and TV, and a private tub with the option of opening a window overlooking the river. Cons: You can't turn off or control the lights from the bed. There's only one main switch as you enter the room, so you always have to reach for it to turn the lights on or off. The pillows weren't very comfortable. Breakfast lacked Western options like pastries, jams, etc., and the...
Fujizo Ryokan, which protects the 600-year-old Namari Onsen, has four baths filled with hot spring water from five sources. The baths in the guest rooms of the Western-style annex, which is a stark contrast to the main building, which is made entirely of zelkova, are also 100% natural spring water, just like the baths in the main building. Enjoy both the traditional baths and the fresh air of the annex...
This is an annex of a historic inn, and the hot spring in the room is a little hot, but just right for winter. There is free beer in the refrigerator, and you can also use the Fujisan Ryokan lounge for free. There is a wide variety of non-alcoholic cocktails at dinner, which are available for a fee, and they were delicious. The room was quiet, and I was able to relax, making it the best day of the...
Nice place! I particularly enjoyed the river view from my private onsen. Be sure to also check out the public onsens at Fujisan ryokan (connected via an indoor walkway). The hosts here are great, especially the guy from Nepal who helped me check in. He spoke great English and was super welcoming. Would return.
Kokoro no Toki, Jusangatsu is the most modern onsen hotel I have ever stayed. It is nothing like most of the traditional onsens I have visited. Jusangatsu is new generation of onsen, it is set up more like an up-market apartment, everything they do is to impress. And They have done that. Importantly, the chef ought to be complimented for the superb dinner.
