The bathtub, connected directly to the hot spring outlet, is approximately 1.2m deep. The hot spring water fills the bathtub without oxidizing when exposed to air or being diluted with water, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the hot spring water for a luxurious bathing experience
The annex's greatest feature is the inn's spacious, comfortable baths. There's a large bathtub on the spacious terrace, large enough for three people to comfortably fit in.
The brightly lit sinks are a plus for women, and the two bowls mean we could use them simultaneously, which was very convenient.
The food was delicious, and the entire inn had a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.
Shirozaru-no-Yu in the main building is much larger and more tasteful than it looks in photos, and the hot water and deep standing bath were impressive.
However, there were no handrails in the bathtub, so my elderly mother couldn't get in, so we ended up just using it as a footbath, which was a bit disappointing.
Still, the hot water and comfortable stay were excellent, and it was an inn I'd definitely like to visit again.
