The meal and on-sen is very fine.
Our service staff Miss Tada is very intimate and friendly.Although the language don't work however she tried to learn some greetings,that's so sweet.

I've stayed at many hot spring hotels, but this one was exceptional in every way, with a great attention to detail. Even the fresh flowers on the wall outside the room were changed daily. I stayed in the Japanese-style room for three days and was almost reluctant to leave. I'll definitely come back next time...

The views and cuisine were superb, but what truly elevated our experience was the staff's exceptional and meticulous service. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and indulged in the outdoor hot spring multiple times, leaving both our minds and bodies completely rejuvenated.

It was my first time staying in a Japanese hot spring hotel and I had dinner in my room. There are many kinds of food, the rice at the end is special but I can't eat it anymore, the hot spring has indoor and outdoor. It's big, has a great view and a sauna. There are many styles of shower gel and shampoo to choose from. The breakfast was also great. The room is big and the view outside the window is beautiful. There is also a massage chair to relax your back.

The most Japanese day of the entire trip, with two meals and one night, a pine forest in the snow, and an almost exclusive hot spring. It is really the tranquility that can be enjoyed in a small city. I really recommend everyone to stay here!

The hot spring hotel has a beautiful environment and the service staff is friendly.
The remote location is a big problem. There is no restaurant inside the hotel. You need to walk to another place to eat. It was snowing when we stayed, so it was not very convenient to walk.

I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.
