Where to stay in Qyzylorda

I was surprised about the modernity of Kizilorda, and of the Sultan Plaza Hotel. Speedy check-in, friendly service, good restaurant. The room amenities, in particular the bed mattresses leave room for improvement.

The hotel is for three stays. In the junior suites, the handles are coming off the furniture doors, the toilet paper in the bathroom is of the lowest quality, the bathtub doesn't have a mechanism for filling with water, the front door rattles in the draft, the TV has maybe five channels, and the bed linens are covered in long women's hair, even though they were freshly washed. Probably not the best place to stop by, mostly because I had problems with running water - the pressure was so weak that it was very difficult (almost impossible) to take shower, not to mention taking full bath. We stayed for one night. It smelled like sewage outside, and in the room too, but it went away when we used the shower. The pillows were lumpy, and the shower pressure was weak. Otherwise, the room was fine: the bed was comfortable, there was a refrigerator, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was very nice; we checked out early in the morning, and they made us breakfast to go.

The room is warm and clean. There are plenty of channels, including Russian ones. The staff is polite. The breakfast is good. The omelette is delicious.

Arriving at the Mirage Hotel made me happy! I liked everything very much, helpful staff, good service. Separately, I would like to praise the staff of the "Grill" restaurant for delicious breakfasts and excellent cuisine.

About as nicely redone as one can expect a post-soviet hotel to be. Bathrooms are brand new, great hot water. Good Wifi! Nice staff. No elevators though, you have to use the stairs, no rooms on the ground floor. Good food cooked on premises, don't expect lightning fast service. All in all, a comfortable place to stay.

A quiet place, excellent staff, and unobtrusive service. Breakfasts are good, and the pastries delicious. I especially loved the view from the balcony onto the courtyard: a small oriental-style waterfall. The embankment is nearby, and there are good spots on the banks of the Syr Darya for impromptu fishing.

I stayed at the Hotel Grand for just one night, in early June 2023. The staff was very friendly; we hadn't booked, but they had two rooms available. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. The hotel is quiet, so there's no disturbing noise at night. The Wi-Fi is fast and has good coverage everywhere. A good selection of sweet and savory breakfasts.

The staff is super! The bed is super comfortable! Springs sticking out of the mattress. The curtains do not block the light of the sun. Very early it becomes very bright in the room.

Nice hotel. 2-storey cottages. The room has everything you need. Breakfast is nothing fantastic, tasty, satisfying. The location is convenient, everything is close. Located in the private sector among one-story buildings. Near the river, 10 minutes from the hotel, you need to walk.

Kyzylorda - the city of the future!

Kyzylorda is my hometown. I live in another city now, but Kyzylorda is still the most beautiful city. It thrives every year. There are many attractions here. This city used to be the capital of Kazakhstan.

This hotel could be the best. But alas, the rooms are expensive and simple.

It's a great thing to be in ancestral lands. I definitely recommend it.

Great place with the hotel beside the river

The restaurant is decorated in a classic style. We booked a banquet on the second floor. The service was decent, and the waiters were excellent. The recommended dishes included delicious salads, but the hot dishes were average. Despite the shortcomings, the class reunion went well. Everyone left the evening with good memories and a positive attitude.

I liked the hotel, but a little expensive. numbers start from 8 thousand, but it is better to take for 12. There is an internal parking.

I stayed here on a business trip. It's a nice location, conveniently located on the ground floor. I booked a suite, and I recommend it; it was close to work. The only problem was the heat—the air conditioning was barely keeping up with the 50-degree temperature.

The service is excellent, there's internet, but the upkeep is a weak B. It seems the owner doesn't have the time or money to maintain the hotel at a decent level (weak hot water pressure, broken furniture, dead batteries in the remote controls—the list goes on).

Everything's fine. + They accept cards. There's nothing in the bathroom except a roll of toilet paper. And thank goodness for that. Everything's clean, odorless, and the air conditioner works. It's a good place.

The bathroom, furniture, and bed quality are all nice. My room felt spacious and had large windows. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but it wasn’t bad. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. They let us check in before the checkin time. You can walk to many restaurants in 10-15 minutes.
