Where to stay in Qyzylorda

I was surprised about the modernity of Kizilorda, and of the Sultan Plaza Hotel. Speedy check-in, friendly service, good restaurant. The room amenities, in particular the bed mattresses leave room for improvement.

I suppose this is the best that Kyzylorda can offer and it looks quite impressive on the surface but stay and you will quickly realise that this hotel is very dated and things only half work. The first thing that greets you in the corridor as you approach your room is a kind of stale smell characteristic of hotels that are past their sell by date. The room was large but had harsh lighting and curtains...

Travelling through from Almaty to Bozoi. The bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on and as a global traveller there is some stiff competition. Used the gym and the spa. Gym ok and spa water was cold. Unfortunately left my shorts and T-Shirt hanging in the bathroom when I checked out. My colleague rang within 24 hours and the missing items were strangely nowhere to be seen. I know this is 1...

After entering Kazakhstan from Aktobe, we arrived in Kyzylorda. When choosing a hotel, we picked one with a very grand-sounding name: the Kyzylorda Hotel. Upon arrival, we found the entire place very unique and met the enthusiastic owner. He told us that the whole hotel had been renovated, and all the building materials were from China. He has many good friends in China who are very hospitable and...

Everything is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is in the center.

The hotel is for three stays. In the junior suites, the handles are coming off the furniture doors, the toilet paper in the bathroom is of the lowest quality, the bathtub doesn't have a mechanism for filling with water, the front door rattles in the draft, the TV has maybe five channels, and the bed linens are covered in long women's hair, even though they were freshly washed. The included breakfast...

Probably not the best place to stop by, mostly because I had problems with running water - the pressure was so weak that it was very difficult (almost impossible) to take shower, not to mention taking full bath. So, my very first impression was unlikely positive and my mood was ruined as soon as i went to take shower upon arrival and check-in. However, I should point out moderately good breakfast ...

We stayed for one night. It smelled like sewage outside, and in the room too, but it went away when we used the shower. The pillows were lumpy, and the shower pressure was weak. Otherwise, the room was fine: the bed was comfortable, there was a refrigerator, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was very nice; we checked out early in the morning, and they made us breakfast to go.

The room is warm and clean. There are plenty of channels, including Russian ones. The staff is polite. The breakfast is good. The omelette is delicious.

Arriving at the Mirage Hotel made me happy! I liked everything very much, helpful staff, good service. Separately, I would like to praise the staff of the "Grill" restaurant for delicious breakfasts and excellent cuisine.

Cozy, very warm room, good price and quality, and 50% discount on the restaurant for residents, only the mattress is very soft.

Great hotel. I always stop there when I come to Kyzylorda

Cozy, comfortable. In a quiet area. Everything is near. Good service.

Nomad Palace is a decent hotel, but nothing exceptional. The rooms are spacious and retain a somewhat Soviet-era style with wooden furnishings. The bathroom features a “capsule” design common in this region, with lots of buttons — most of which don’t seem to work beyond the basics of a regular shower. Breakfast is quite simple, and the Wi-Fi is slow enough that I preferred using my mobile data. During...

Good hotel, not problem. Five star.

About as nicely redone as one can expect a post-soviet hotel to be. Bathrooms are brand new, great hot water. Good Wifi! Nice staff. No elevators though, you have to use the stairs, no rooms on the ground floor. Good food cooked on premises, don't expect lightning fast service. All in all, a comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is located in the private sector. There is a private parking in the yard. I was met by a very polite and pleasant girl Liana. Check-in was quick, less than 5 minutes. The room is 6-8 sq.m. There is enough space for one person. A standard room without a balcony has a bed, TV, wardrobe, nightstand, Wi-Fi router and a renovated shower room. There is no drinking water in the room, you need to...

A quiet place, excellent staff, and unobtrusive service. Breakfasts are good, and the pastries delicious. I especially loved the view from the balcony onto the courtyard: a small oriental-style waterfall. The embankment is nearby, and there are good spots on the banks of the Syr Darya for impromptu fishing.

I stayed at the Hotel Grand for just one night, in early June 2023. The staff was very friendly; we hadn't booked, but they had two rooms available. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. The hotel is quiet, so there's no disturbing noise at night. The Wi-Fi is fast and has good coverage everywhere. A good selection of sweet and savory breakfasts.

Clean, cozy, good breakfast, helpful staff, great location

The staff is super! The bed is super comfortable! Springs sticking out of the mattress. The curtains do not block the light of the sun. Very early it becomes very bright in the room.

Nice hotel. 2-storey cottages. The room has everything you need. Breakfast is nothing fantastic, tasty, satisfying. The location is convenient, everything is close. Located in the private sector among one-story buildings. Near the river, 10 minutes from the hotel, you need to walk.

Kyzylorda - the city of the future!

Kyzylorda is my hometown. I live in another city now, but Kyzylorda is still the most beautiful city. It thrives every year. There are many attractions here. This city used to be the capital of Kazakhstan.

This hotel could be the best. But alas, the rooms are expensive and simple.

It's a great thing to be in ancestral lands. I definitely recommend it.

I can't say anything but a praise for this place. First of all, this hotel stands out from the architectural point of view, you don't see that many hotels in town in that design and it brings value not only in the anesthetics but in pure practicality- it makes this hotel a landmark that is easy to find, especially when you don't know the city well and have to tell the cab driver where to go 😉 The...

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, good value for money, nice staff

I liked the hotel, but a little expensive. numbers start from 8 thousand, but it is better to take for 12. There is an internal parking.

Excellent service, cozy rooms. Prices are reasonable

Blankets were old and had kinda unpleasant smell

Great place with the hotel beside the river

The restaurant is decorated in a classic style. We booked a banquet on the second floor. The service was decent, and the waiters were excellent. The recommended dishes included delicious salads, but the hot dishes were average. Despite the shortcomings, the class reunion went well. Everyone left the evening with good memories and a positive attitude.

Nice place. Cozy and comfortable. Kind personal

Very good experience! Great hospitality, very nice staff, very nice and clean room. The food was also very good and the kitchen opened late. Highly recommend to stay.

I stayed here on a business trip. It's a nice location, conveniently located on the ground floor. I booked a suite, and I recommend it; it was close to work. The only problem was the heat—the air conditioning was barely keeping up with the 50-degree temperature.

The service is excellent, there's internet, but the upkeep is a weak B. It seems the owner doesn't have the time or money to maintain the hotel at a decent level (weak hot water pressure, broken furniture, dead batteries in the remote controls—the list goes on).

Everything's fine. + They accept cards. There's nothing in the bathroom except a roll of toilet paper. And thank goodness for that. Everything's clean, odorless, and the air conditioner works. It's a good place.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfortable, and everything I needed was there. The staff was polite, and the atmosphere was calm. After a busy day, I really found it a relaxing place. Thank you for your hospitality! I'd especially like to thank Saltanat, a very attentive, responsive, and pleasant woman. She made our stay even more comfortable

We stayed at the hotel and loved everything. Clean rooms, convenient location, and friendly staff. Check-in was quick, and the room was cozy and quiet. A great option for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend it! I'd like to especially commend Saltanat for her professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly attitude. Thank you for your help and excellent service.

We had a good welcome to the hotel, check-in took a short while before we got the key card for our room. We booked a lux room which was spacious and nicely appointed with a hugely comfortable bed and a nice sitting area. A kettle was provided with a selection of tea bags and there was a mini fridge. The bathroom was fine with a small selection of toiletries provided. The multifunctional shower unit...

The bathroom, furniture, and bed quality are all nice. My room felt spacious and had large windows. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but it wasn’t bad. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. They let us check in before the checkin time. You can walk to many restaurants in 10-15 minutes.

I really liked it. Warm, cozy, smells clean. Everything is fine. I advise

I really liked it. Warm, cozy, smells clean. Everything is great. I recommend it.

I had a very pleasant stay. This hostel offers everything you need. Good showers, good rooms, good kitchen for cooking yourself and very friendly staff. Big Thanks to Rustem!

Clean and comfortable hostel with helpful and friendly staff. Includes a kitchen and room for eating with full facilities, like a home. The value is good, not an expensive price. No complaints!

Nice hostel, I came and stayed with my team. It's great

We came to the competition and lived in a hostel for a week. I liked that they clean it daily. Paid with meals and did not regret the children liked the food.

Good hostel. The very still. Very chip)
