I originally booked an apartment in Aktau, but it had an incredibly uncomfortable mattress and old pillows. I had to urgently find new accommodation. In the end, I booked this hotel and regretted not doing so from the start.
The hotel is located in the city center. It's clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff are friendly. We received a free room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room is large, clean, and has everything you need. The mattress and pillows here are excellent and comfortable. The bed, however, is a bit narrow for two, but it's not a major issue.
Housekeeping is done daily. The breakfasts are also good, with a decent selection. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. We ordered room service in the evenings — the food was delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in Aktau!

Location: Very close to some of Aktau's most iconic photo spots, practically right downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket nearby, and the Caspian Sea is a 10-20 minute walk away. The airport is about a 30-minute taxi ride away.
Facilities: Fully equipped and new, with elegant and beautiful interior design. Breakfast is relatively plentiful, and Indian food is served during the day. Worth a try.
Cleanliness: Very clean; they come in to clean daily.
Service: Okay, slightly room for improvement.

I stayed at the Dostyk and was very pleased. The hotel fully lives up to its status as a business hotel: spacious rooms with good soundproofing and a comfortable workspace. The location is excellent—right in the center, convenient for all the city's key attractions. The staff is polite and helpful, and check-in was quick. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. I recommend it for both business and leisure travel!

Delicious breakfasts, friendly staff. The location is excellent, with plenty of options for every taste and budget nearby. The hotel is also 10 minutes from the shore, perfect for a walk along the cliff path and watching the sunset.

This accommodation was probably the worst I've ever booked. I booked the largest suite with a king-size bed, which was advertised as 1.81m, but was actually only 1.51m. When I contacted the front desk, they confirmed it was only 1.51m. It was a serious discrepancy between the advertised and actual room size. I contacted Ctrip, but they didn't discuss a solution with the hotel. It's still listed as 1.8m. Anyone wanting a large bed should avoid this hotel; it's completely unacceptable. Paying extra for a small bed severely impacted the experience. I got a refund of 118 yuan for the last two nights, but nothing was resolved. If I had known it was a small bed, I wouldn't have booked this hotel, or I would have booked a twin room instead of being stuck here for two days unable to get a refund or change. The room was too hot, they didn't provide a comb, and initially they didn't even provide bottled water. One of the windows couldn't close properly and was above the kitchen, so the smell of cooking fumes from downstairs was unbearable in the mornings. I recommend staying elsewhere. Terrible.
