Reviews
Highly recommended
The main problem is the grumpy old lady (who obviously is in power in that house), who acts like we sneaked into her private house, is annoyed when you use the kitchen (like agreed in the beginning), when you use the community room in the evening for working at the laptop (in a hostel!), switches off the lights although you are sitting there, closes the door to the house at night (so if you are sleeping in the tent or car no way to use the toilets) and finally shouted at us to leave "her house" after we didn't accept to pay double the price then said at the beginning. Combined with an "you act like you moved in!" (in a hostel!)
So to shorten it a bit: this is not a hostel, it feels more like a homestay - but not a good one!
We hope the younger co-owners will take appropriate action soon and kick her off her "position"... Then it can be a really nice place!
The WiFi can be patchy but is good when it works. Breakfast costs extra with lots of choices on offer but order it the night before.
The owners don't speak much English but make excellent use of Google Translate. It's a no-shoes house so leave them outside.
