Art Hotel in Osh

I don't normally go this hard on a review, but I hate hate HATE this hotel. Do not stay here for any reason at all. Among the numerous problems I had were the following:

- The location in Booking isn't accurate, they only send you the "real" address after you book.
- The address they sent me turned out to be completely wrong and I ended up on the opposite side of the city after getting a taxi from the airport. Luckily a local Samaritan helped me find where I needed to be or I would have been stranded, and as it's a small city this only cost me some time and an extra few dollars.
- Speaking of location, it's as far away from the city center as it could be. A lot of places say the location is great for some reason, but it really isn't.
- There's free WiFi, but you can't get a decent signal in the rooms. I had to move the desk right to the door to barely get as signal. Even then it would drop out quite often.
- The air conditioner breaks if you try and put it any lower than 26 degrees. I was constantly sweating and could barely sleep in the heat.
- The owner and/or her family stay awake all night, often with visitors, all talking loudly. This made it even harder to get to sleep.
- On the first day the owner pulled me into an interview with a TV company. I basically ended up lying to them because I knew nothing about the hotel and was already getting frustrated.
- The shared toilets were usually disgusting. One day I couldn't even use them because they were having work done - the day I happened to have food poisoning. I had to leave and find another one I could use.
- On the last few days the power was out during the day. While this may not be the hotel's fault, it would have been nice to have a heads up if it was planned. I ended up going three days without a shower and unable to wash my clothes in a place with scorching heat where I couldn't stop sweating. I ended up worried about BO every time I went anywhere.
- I noticed too late that the curtains were see-through. My room was right next to the entrance, so anyone coming into/out of the hotel could see into my room, and probably anyone standing in the courtyard of the bus station. I had zero privacy.
- Since it was so hot, it was uncomfortable wearing clothes in my room. One night the owner burst into my room in the middle of the night without knocking while I was all but naked. She didn't leave, and instead demanded I turn off the air conditioner. Still she stayed as she watched me fumble around for the air con remote while practically naked. I've never felt so violated by a hotel owner.
- On the last night they did it AGAIN. This time I heard them trying to unlock the door so was able to cover myself up. They then demanded that I pay more money because they forgot the "booking fee".

I HATE HATE HATE THIS PLACE. It's taken me every ounce of my strength not to litter this review with swear words I hated it so much. I *fudging* hate this place.

Don't stay here.
