My first time in Liepaja I walked into the Amrita hotel to check in & was amazed by the welcoming reception I got from the reception team. Be aware though that you can access internet only when you are in your room and not in public areas as a router is for your room only through the TV set. Not the first time for us staying in this hotel with our two large dogs and everything is just fantastic. I must admit though that for a longer stay I would love to have more spacious bathroom, otherwise all was great. The breakfast is delicious with great variety for any taste. We had our dinner at the hotel’s restaurant this time and it was also very good.

Just perfect! I enjoyed gym, breakfast, bathtub, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent location at the very heart of Liepāja, as well. I would really recommend this place to travellers, visitors and guests. The price is quite affordable for all the quality one gets.

All in all a very good hotel for the price! Great hotel, very nice staff, excellent location and breakfast.There was no mini bar in our room despite having a price list. Pillows were terrible and the layout of the room wasn't good either as the AC wasn't cooling the other side of the room.

Rooms are spacious. The shower room has a scratched floor. Beds are not very comfortable and pillows and quilt are soft. There is a MAXIMA shop near the hotel. The sea is quite far away.

The hotel is located a bit far from city center but bus stop is nearby. There was no air conditioning but room was clean and shower was ok. Beds were quite hard. In the evening bikes made a lot of noise in the street in feont of hotel. Overall a decent valie for the price.

We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc). Walls were thin - we could hear people moving in the corridors...

A bit far from the central parts of town but there is a local bus that stops near the hotel. A good supermarket also nearby. Nothing special, ok hotel to stay at if the hotel is not the most important part of your trip.

Just returned from holidays. It’s amazing hotel with excellent service very central located and easy to access. Hotel itself has beautiful interior and artwork galleries staff is so friendly and welcoming to each guest.

If you want an economy class room - this will be perfect, rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed. Breakfast is very poor. The same food every morning, there is no choice. Nice hotel with a very good resturant

Comfortable hotel, we really enjoyed our stay! Also would highly recommend getting the breakfast, there is a wonderful assortment of fresh dishes and the chef is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Really noisy, You can hear people walking around and some other weird sound. It's hard to get sleep, and is one of the worst acoustics in a 4 star hotel I meet. Nice private parking, polite staff. The bathroom could be cleaner.

We stayed in a hotel’s apartment on the Republica street, not in the main huilding. The apartment was beautiful and large enough for 7 people ( one extra bed needed, though). Obviously the apartment had been renovated recently as everything was so nice and clean. Hotel has very warm rooms, as well its very clean. Personal is very polite and helpful, we were offered have breakfast in room, what is rare if you dont ask for. Is there anything better in Liepāja? I don't think so. The hotel is very nice, it has a private parking and the rooms are spacious, clean and with nice furniture (plus: the bathroom is very big and well equipped; minus: the beds are squeaky, so it kinda makes more difficult to sleep silently if you are used to move during the night). I definitely advise you to book at least a breakfast in the winter...

The old wooden architecture has gained a new lease of life. Good location in the city. It is easy to choose leisure options. There is a cafe in the building. Shop, tram, old town and promenade are nearby. The Fontaine network has a whole world where you forget everyday life in a charming way.

we stayed at Fountaine Valhalla Hotel for one night, when we first arrived it was a little off putting that there were lots of road works outside, but it wasn't a problem as they finished work early. The old building, the staff, the terrasse, the atmosphere, the food, the decoration, the rooms and LIVE JAZZ. Liepaja deserves a stop if you visita Latvia and this Hotel is without any doubt the place to stay. We'll never forget this Magic Hotel.

Really nice and cozy place. 3 stars only because we were with family and kids wanted to watch some TV. It worked, but all channels were dubbed in russian! WHY? We did not find how to change language. Even the hotel reception employee could not change the language. The channels could be in original language, but WHY on earth russian?

Perfect home in the oldtown at Liepaja. People visits Liepaja mostly in summer. But if you are ok with cold, snow etc. Ezera Maja still a warm and cozy place. If you have work to do, you can focus on precisely. Also Liepaja isn't inconvenient at winter, still a handy town.
