One of the best private resort to stay in Maldives. The villa and spacious and the view is absolutely stunning!

This hotel is a dump! Everything is terrible! It stinks, the room is so small it feels like a closet, the safe doesn't work, the bathroom doors don't close, and it's constantly noisy. I've never seen anything worse in my life. The only thing is that it's very close to the water and there's food nearby.

Overnight hotel. Not suitable for long stays.

Stayed here because I flew in late and wasn’t going to my destination until the following day. The property was in a nice location and the staff was very friendly.

It is OK to stay one night in Linshi, look out at the ocean, watch the sunrise, and walk into the sea. The staff service is also good.

Getting a taxi from the airport to hotel cost 70 rufiyah, as that’s the standard set. Once at the hotel, I was greeted warmly with a welcome drink and shown my room, which was clean, modern and funky! We stay one night at beach palace . Staffs are so friendly and welcoming.The room is comfortable and very clean with big toilet and bath, the breakfast ok. The location is good, It's accessible to-from the airport and Male City. Staff will good care of us .This is a very nice hotel for a very reasonable price.

Good for couple check in rooms are cozy and clean there's a small bar/store and you can stroll near by beach.. Maldives is the best destination if you have an extra pocket.. love it..I love to go back there together with my family.

We requested a late check-out, but it couldn’t be accommodated, which was understandable. However, the staff were not very friendly. The hotel also has some unusual rules, such as a USD 100 fine for eating inside the room.

We recently stayed 3 separate times at Season Holidays in an effort to organise seaplanes to various islands in the Maldives. The staff at this hotel were exceptional. Met us at Male Airport without any problems on our first visit and took us straight to the hotel where we received an upgrade to a seaview room! Very nice. Had an amazing stay here. It was a bit quick just for a night, and I specifically choosed them for their sea view as well as free transfer from airport. Everything went smooth. Had a nice breakfast as well. Will def recommend since it comes with free transportation ( didn’t wait much ).

This hotel is offers excellent customer service. The hotel staff are approachable and always ready to assist guests to have a comfortable stay. Housekeeping is also consistent. You can always go back to a clean room after a full day tour. The location is perfect, it is beach front so you can enjoy your breakfast with a nice view everyday. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for a stopover near Male Airport. Clean and comfortable, recently decorated with first class WiFi & AC. Special regards to the family that run Maakanaa Lodge, they are super friendly, welcoming and caring. 15 mins car transfer from the Airport was easily arranged by themselves. Highly recommended.

Maakanaa Lodge, Hulhumalé is situated in a convenient location and it is close to all local amenities. I love the clean, modern style rooms with good facilities and really enjoyed the warm hospitality. Would definitely recommend the place to my foreign friends. Very good place but no longer around. I was introduced to stay at this place by a close friend. His friend was running the place. We were given very nice and cozy rooms with a view of the ocean. I was there last month from 9th to 15th Aug 2022. However, we cannot find this place anymore.

Good location. But the fesilities are less. They should improve their facilities and also service only location cannot serve all the purposes. Stayed at June 2016, the room was quite big and okay. But the air conditioner doesn't work properly. It's working on, but failed to make the room cool. Staffs are good.

Our group of 14 people had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. It has great location with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and the beach is only 1~2min walk away. The staffs and the manager there are very friendly and provide outstanding services. The excursion trips provided was enjoyable too. Overall, it was a great stay for all of us!

It is a budget hotel on the country island(hulhumale) which is 20 mins drive from airport. First the good things. The staff were amazing. Always helpful, always friendly, keen to chat and to make you feel welcome. This also translated into excellent service, and room was fantastic . They have cafe with plenty of healthy food choices as well as the usual decadent options. BUT…there are a couple of caveats.

The good thing about this hotel is the airport transfer, after a long hour of waiting in the airport , you don't need to wait to find a taxi, the driver will wait for you and bring you to the hotel. We did a stopover at the Newtown Inn on our way home from a dive trip in the Maldives. Honestly the place looks pretty sketch from the street, but once you check in, it's very serviceable. Just a one night stop a little noisey at night but may have been a one off ! Compact room but had everything I needed plus a nice breakfast to start the day ! Ideal for lay over stop and has a complimentary car for airport ! I would recommend but tight for 2 people ? Maybe I had a single room .

Its a nice budget place to stay with your family. There are three floors with rooms and we booked all of the rooms. It was nice and clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff are polite. Definately a place to consider for a budget getaway.

Hospitality was awesome, we have a one day stay, the staff was very polite. They help us to coordinate with the other resort guys which we where moving to, on second day. It's a good option if you want to stay in budget. Rooms where clean, don't expect any lavishness. Good stay overall.

Hosts were very friendly and they upgraded us to a better room for free. The only downside for us was that the internet didn't work well.

The only thing I enjoyed was the friendliness of the staff. The room can be cleaner
