The room smelled musty, and the facilities were old.

My stay was disappointing due to several issues. I found bedbugs on the bed and reported it to the front desk, requesting a room change. However, I was told that housekeeping hadn't started their rounds yet and that a room change could only be arranged once they began work. Things didn't improve when I was given an invalid room card for the new room, requiring me to bring all luggage to the reception for a card update. To add to the frustration, when I called to confirm the WiFi password, the staff asked me to come down personally to get it, which was an unnecessary hassle.

I ordered the vanilla and coconut cake from Rocher Coco for my mum’s birthday, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The cake tasted stale and was extremely dry. It was so hard that even cutting through it was a struggle. Several guests commented on the texture and taste, which was quite embarrassing on such a special occasion.

The packaging was also a letdown. It was flimsy, kept opening, and did not feel strong enough to hold a cake properly. For an establishment with such a well-known name, I expected much better quality and presentation.

There was also an overpowering amount of coconut, which completely masked the vanilla flavour and made the cake quite unbalanced for our taste.

I’m posting photos to show how dry the cake was and how poor the packaging looked. This was an experience I do not wish to go through again, and I will not be ordering from Rocher Coco in the future.

I had a totally disappointing experience at Hennessy Park Hotel, specifically at the Backstage Lounge restaurant. I went there for dinner and was shocked by the poor service and lack of professionalism.

We waited 35 minutes just to get the drink menu, and it took another 30 minutes to finally receive our drinks. Even worse, no one brought us the food menu — we had to ask twice before it was provided. The staff seemed untrained and overwhelmed, and the restaurant manager was nowhere in sight.

Unfortunately, the experience at SushiMe wasn’t any better. The quality has dropped drastically compared to what it used to be.

The only redeeming part of the evening was the restaurant Grain d’Sel, which still maintains decent service and food quality. Apart from that, there’s really nothing great to say about the place anymore.
