Horrible Stay — Insect Infestation and No Accountability
I wish I could give this place zero stars. My stay at this hotel was a complete nightmare due to an overwhelming insect infestation and dirtiness.
The first red flag appeared when I walked into my room and immediately spotted ants crawling on the nightstand. I tried to brush it off, but it only got worse. By the evening, I found cockroaches in the bathroom and even spotted bedbugs in the bed. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide a clean and comfortable environment.
I reported the issue to the front desk, but they barely seemed concerned. They offered a different room but once enter you could easily smell that odd odour of bathroom and bedsheet. When I asked for refund they offered no other solution or compensation. I barely slept, constantly checking for more bugs, and ended up leaving early at 2 am and had to sleep in a rental car me and my wife and her friend because I couldn’t stand it any longer.
The lack of cleanliness and customer care was shocking. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel at all costs unless you’re okay with sharing your room with unwanted pests. Absolutely disgusting experience and we pay at front desk they refuse to refund charged us 3 people rs3900 just for 1 night stay no food and drinks just for room.
And the person denied every proof we showed him saying that we brought bed bugs still seeing rats running everywhere infront of the concerned person at least he can't denied that

Worst place to go to in Rodrigues dont even think about spending your vacation over there place is disgusting with bugs cockroaches rats and even bed bugs Room smell like sewage even bedsheets and pillows Dining areas smell like sewage and their service is just horribly amazing to tell Nobody cares aboht hospitality over there

very bad service and food. this hotel is shame for rodrigues hospitality and should never be proposed to customers. food is awful. it seems the cook has no sense of culinary art, taste.

My recent stay at Le Flamboyant Hotel (Rodrigues) was incredibly disappointing due to consistently poor service from the staff. Requests were ignored, giving food very misely, basic issues were not addressed promptly, and the overall attitude felt unwelcoming. No water or soft drinks available at the hotel, no even for dinner. Despite the attractive location, the lack of attention to detail and inadequate customer service made the experience far below expectations. Bads odors, pool was in bad shape and fungus in the corners. Cockroaches in rooms. Rooms are ant prone.

Bathroom doors/locks broken, bad smell from the toilets, poor room service, towels not changed everyday (have to request again & again), a few staff from hall where dinner is served are rude, no hospitality at all. You can feel as if they don't like Mauritians. Quality of foods are not to be rated at all.

I am not satisfied with the room provided by the hotel. The only guests who had a good stay are those who were allocated rooms in the renovated part of the hotel.

Dirty hotel,no service at all,room very dirty with insecs,no good breakfast,its only tea ,coffee,bread,cheese and fried potatoes and for dinner have to wait over 45mins to have dessert.its a shame to call it a hotel.pool side very dirty and even its smell bad every where.

1. Room not that tidy and there were insects in the room. And wifi in room was super slow. 2. On our 2nd day at stay, when we returned to our room at night, the whole room was flooded due to broken water pipes and they swapped us in a smaller room with no single bed. (We initially booked and paid for 2 single beds in one room). And we had to walk in the flooded rooms, pack our bags in a haste and move to the other room. (I attached a picture of the flooded lobby before our first rooms. 3. No parking facility when we went, due to the hotel was conducting construction activities. But at least they could have informed us before that. We had book car but had no place to park the car at the hotel. 4. Food: No variety of food in the restaurant, no buffet style. You have to go with what they prep. And vegetarian options are really small.

Worst service ever!! Hotel le flamboyant but in no angle it is a hotel.. more like a guest house! Stayed there for 5 days and no air conditioner as the one in my room was not working. Clogged bathroom.. made complaints at the reception but nothing was done. The room was supposed to be cleaned every day but they did not change the towels. The area around the 'pool' had a bad smell.. And the food... every day at dinner they served chicken and fish which they served on ration!! It was supposedly an open buffet.. but it was not!! At breakfast when they served crepes it was only 1 person! Very very very bad service!!! I will certainly not recommend this place! N yes, my family and i got sick by drinking their juice, tea and coffee. Definitely not recommended!
