Komnenovo etno selo Kula Damjanova in Plav

The location is stunning.
The hotel walls are made of paper consequently you can practically hear the other guests breathe.
So don’t expect to get a good night’s sleep. The windows don’t close property and are definitely sound proof. Nothing is sound proof. There is a mosque nearby so be prepared to be woken up in the middle of the night by chanting and barking dogs that seem to enjoy taking part in the chants. Breakfast was mediocre, un drinkable coffee. Highly overpriced Not good value for money.

They say Wi-Fi is in the rooms however it is not (or service is down). If you ask for price reduction as you paid for room with Wi-Fi, they say to leave if you do not like it (at 9pm).
Rooms are basically impossible to lock, there is no bed-clothing for sheets, faucet in bathroom is leaking, you can hear every little noise or discussion over the walls.
Waiter does not approach you in the restaurant after waiting more than 15min (although they see you waiting).

I just visited the restaurant. They did not want to serve me any food first, because the chef was to busy with a group of forty persons. Then, with some complaining, they offered me biftek. With French fries. Allright then. Food was okay, a bit too much (300 grams of meat), and with €18 also somewhat overpriced, where the rest of the mains (only meat, portions of 300 grams) was typically 7,50 or 8,50.
I suggest they must improve service, and also improve the menu, with less meat and more other options.
The views are very nice, however.

Place is build with an imagination, but it's just not working, management sucks, service sucks, to expansive for the services they offer. Only beautiful on the pictures, I regret I have booked my stay here...

It was the only opportunity to get a bed for a night and it really was a night(mare):
- 1st room: toilet didnt work at all
- 2nd room: toilet works, but you cannot open the top so that it remains open. The water tank was too big so the top always fell on your back. There was a wasp hive just outside the window. Some small soldiers could make it inside and their stings really worked. Everything is really broken and damaged. No one takes care of maintaining anything. Thats a pity because the location could be really nice.
Food was ok but really nothing special.
