Where to stay in Danilovgrad

This is a very unique property. If you’re headed to see Monastery Ostrog, we highly recommend this hotel. Very convenient. The staff and the meals were excellent. However, the drive up the mountain is not for the faint hearted.

We stayed at this hotel as it was only 5 minutes drive to the Ostrog Monastery. The views from the rooms and the restaurant are phenomenal. The views around this hotel are to die for. It’s close to the monastery that even if you wanted to walk it’s possible. After spending a night at the upper monastery it took an hour to get back to the hotel. You just have to be mindful of the cars around those sharp curves. Massive corner room - 2 x huge balconies with and awe-inspiring view of valley and Ostrog Monastery - hotel is perched precipitously on the side of the mountain. QUIET, true relaxation at the top of the mountains away from the tourist. This is an AMAZING little family owned hotel. Clearly they invested a lot of money in the right areas, excellent new windows and doors. The restaurant is fantastic. Great service and fantantic food. Run away from the noisy tourist areas and STAY HERE at least for a night with great dinner.

During our road trip through the Balkans, we stayed here for one night, and it was by far the most welcoming place we encountered all week. While the hotel is rated only three stars and isn't the most luxurious, the exceptional hospitality truly earns it an extra star. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent, with outstanding service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Every team member of the staff was great and friendly, very comfortable stay, food was superb, both for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, convenient location.

The hotel is located right next to the road to Podgorica. The food is excellent, the portions are plentiful and the prices are quite acceptable.

I was born and raised in California, and our family has known about this place for years. The name of the hotel is the same as my family’s last name and we feel as though we almost definitely are related to the owners! Would love to get in contact with the owners!

Very clean. Rooms are nice sizes. Mine has a huge balcony. Toilet and shower great staff are friendly and helpful. Location isn't great but it is okay.

Hi, rooms are clean and well maintained. but the air conditioner is incredibly noisy and has no remote control. It's easy to close, but the guest doesn't know that. they prepared pork product for us for dinner. we are muslim we never eat pork product. They know that we come from Turkey, they should be careful. İt is very important

The people working there are amazingly kind and attentive. We wanted somewhere by the water after visiting Ostrog and this seemed like a good option. So happy we came - the trout was fresh from the river and it was absolutely the best fish we ate during our 12 days touring Montenegro. If you have a car it’s worth visiting!

Nice restaurant directly at the lake, therefore a really beautiful location. You can order freshly caught fish, which might’ve been the best one we’ve eaten yet - crisp on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. The staff was nice as well :) It’s also a lovely spot to watch the sunset.

Lovely peaceful place, we came at 4pm which was maybe a strange time, but we were welcomed regardless. We only came for a quick beer but decided to try the Mlješano Meso (mixed grill) and were not disappointed - excellent food and great value. Will definitely be back 😊
