Hostel Vera - Airport Podgorica in Podgorica

Wonderful stay with Nikola and his mother in the modern clean apartment by the airport. Nikola was kind enough to offer me a lift to the airport for my 09:30 flight, which I really appreciate. If you need to catch a flight from Podgorica, this is the perfect spot to stay.

Extremely pleasant and welcoming, I would give more stars if I could!

We stayed overnight in one of the apartments. The room was cozy and well equipped with A/C, WiFi, a TV, private bathroom, wardrobe and fridge. During our stay the building was slightly work-in-progress but this makes little difference as it has all the essentials.

The older lady and young man, Niko, are incredibly sweet and made sure we felt welcomed. They also kindly offered us a free ride to the airport in the morning.

The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spotlessly clean and reasonably comfortable, but not luxurious. Five rooms share a single bath. Bottled water and tea are provided. Not much English but the fellow speaks some Spanish. The only downsides have nothing to do with the property or hosts. The area seems to be rapidly transitioning from rural to industrial. There are a couple of big warehouses nearby. One has huge lights that flood the area at night. The other starts loading trucks at 2:00 AM with much banging and yelling. For these reasons it is difficult to sleep with the window open. Also, it’s not near any reasonably-priced restaurants, ‘tho there is a great steak house a 10-minute walk away. Not recommended for the mobility-impaired, due to stairs. Strongly recommended with some reservations.

Definitely a nice place to stay close to the airport, rooms are clean and good. The lady is very kind even she struggles a bit with English. Also we got a free ride to the airport by a very friendly guy that loves to speak spanish haha amazing!
A very good option for passing the night before departing or just arriving to Montenegro.

Squeaky clean rooms. Gorgeous location surrounded by birds chirping. Very homely! Host lady is so kind.

Wifi works great except it disconnects when 4-5 guests are staying. The room i was given was close to bathroom & every time someone used it, the noise would filter through. Also, some guests smoked in their rooms & smell filtered to mine. Guests were also very loud in the morning.

I would not recommend sharing the room with any local guests but if you have it for yourself, this is a great option.

Honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, incredibly spacious and private, far cheaper then any other options of that quality and the best part is the staff. They battled with English yet still a conscious effort was made to include me in conversation and to help me feel settled, I even got free transport to the airport. I will be staying here again.

Nice owners

Very close to the airport. Helped out with an urgent overnight stay when the flight was canceled. Next to the hostel (7 minutes on foot) is a supermarket that is open until 10 p.m. Clean, tidy, rooms for 2-3 people with separate beds, shower, refrigerator, water, kettle, necessary dishes.

Good location if you have an early flight, they have free rides to airport, 5 minutes away. No A/C in rooms.
