Hostel Anton in Tivat

I look back to such a warm stay at Hostel Anton. What stood out to me is the staff. Very laid-back, chill and social atmosphere exactly the way it's supposed to be in my opinion. The beds are good, the room is okay and clean. The views you get are amazing.

Stayed in private room, clean and warm. Staff are excellent and very helpful.
Location is very good as it is close to center and a few minutes by foot.
Enjoyed my stay very much, specially liked the spontnious party in lobby with all the guests and staff.

Rodrigo and the other employees were super friendly and helpful. The hostel has a really good vibe where you can chill at the living room in the first floor with couches and a pool table or enjoy the view at the rooftops. The bedrooms and bathrooms were simple but good, with plenty of plugs for charging. Good Wi-Fi. Everything is in a walking distance from 5 to 25 minutes walk you can find markets, restaurants and a public beach.

People who low-rate this hostel should take a more realistic perspective and take other factors into consideration as well. Honestly, I stayed in hostels across North America, Europe and the Balkans and everywhere I went had to consider local issues affecting accommodation. Long story short, this is Montenegro, rather different social setting one should understand. While it is true that rooms could be better and location is not that great, we all can agree that price is right compared to anything else in Tivat where is hard to find a bed in season on short notice below 60€ per night. For example, hotels that claim more stars than their service deserves will charge insane amounts yet their rooms are filthy and service sucks. Given that and other “touristic habits” of the locals, Hostel Anton is the best experience you can appreciate by far, especially if you like meeting people in an extremely friendly and cosy place while having fun every minute of your stay for cheap. Literally everyone I met was interesting regardless of problems they are running from, they seem happy there mingling with others. I came across this place by accident and was so delighted and glad that I did. Time and money spent was well worth regardless of how it looks; in fact, the vibe, the energy, a vibration there is priceless. Overall, I’m giving to this place 10 stars out of 5 and will definitely come again and again if I decide to come to Tivat. In addition, management is slowly improving its hostel to the best of their financial abilities I noticed and will continue to improve I’m sure. I highly recommend this place for a rather unique experience and great fun for the money. Thumbs up to hostel Anton!!!

Hostel Anton is one of the best hostels I've visited so far. First of all the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms, toilets and kitchen -- everything is very clean. The social area is great, you can play pool, poker or chess (if you manage to make a board for chess ;)). The design is remarkable: a lot of old stuff from old days (before internet)), artistic decorations, creative signs. All the atmosphere is very chill and friendly 🙂 And every day a lot of travellers from around the world 👋 Thank you guys! For sure, I'm going to stay there again, when visiting Tivat ✌️

It has a good view of the coast from the room top.
Budget friendly rooms. The staff is very informative and friendly.
Met some nice people there. Most of the spots are walking distance from the hostel.
