Very well located in the heart of Bhaktapur Square (note that access to Bhaktapur Square costs 2,000 NPR: ask the security checkpoint to validate your ticket for 7 days using your passport, otherwise you’ll have to pay again each time).

The staff are very welcoming, helpful and attentive. I had some great laughs with them. There’s also a good, inexpensive restaurant just opposite.

P.S. The rooftop view is definitely worth it!

Excellent location right in centrer and the staff are wonderful, super friendly and very helpful.
Was a slight mix up when we arrived to the room we booked, but was sorted once booking shown. Shower was on the cool side if I am to be honest. Room had comfortable bed and was a good size with tv and aircon. If you prefer quiet room do ask for one out the back.
Really nice roof terrace, lots different places you can sit and enjoy your beers. There is a small bar downstairs by reception and they offer food.
Very good value for your money.

Rooms are clean and everything you can expect, with a fantastic breakfast on top of it (between 8 and 10am). The service with Nepalese smiles is impeccable and the rooftop is as wonderful as the location of the Hotel. Do NOT look any further: this is where you should stay in Bhaktipur !

Tulaja Boutique Hotel is located at a very strategic location, within walking distance to the Unesco heritage sites of Bhaktapur and easily accessible to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the rooftop of the hotel. The room is clean and the staff are helpful

I had a great experience at Tulaja Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made me feel very welcome. The location is convenient, close to key spots, yet peaceful enough to relax. Overall, Tulaja Hotel provides excellent value for money and a homely atmosphere. Highly recommended for both short and long stays!

Had a wonderful stay at Tulaja Boutique Hotel! The views were stunning — peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing escape. The food was delicious and felt homemade with care. Slept really well; the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essential amenities. Staff were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cozy, peaceful place to stay!

The staff are excellent here. The best we have met in Nepal. Thanks for your nice quiet room and warm stay! The owner is very nice and kind she treated us like family. We love this place and it's the best stay we have had in Asia and we live there!

Amazing view and a great spot to just hangout. The food was a disappointment, they have no clue what a pizza is and the momo was equally horrible. Need a new chef.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars or even negative ratings. The food was terrible and unhygienic with very expensive pricings. And they also charge VAT and SC for providing horrific food(so called service). I checked their past reviews and whenever anyone comments on food, they have only one response ->"We apologise for the service because of our cook absence due to bad health which is prepared by kitchen helper". Don't visit this place...will just ruin your mood and of course total waste of money.

We ate at the rooftop restaurant. The service was good. The boneless chilly chicken snack was great. The other food was good, as well. The view from the restaurant is great for seeing the square and surroundings.

Very nice hotel at a newar home. Stunning view from the roof top, you can have breakfast with the view of the stupas. We had dinner in the restaurant and it´s a good option in Bhaktapur
