Hotels in Bhaktapur

We’ve only stayed at this hotel for one night, but what a beautiful property it is! 3* rating does not do the justice…it’s a 5* facility that’s feels like heritage site! Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, restaurant provides delicious and well priced food, its few minutes walk from the historical Durban square. Highly recommended

This hotel is up in the mountains, with a great view of the sunrise if its not cloudy. Since this hotel is on the side of the mountain, there is a lot of walking up and down the stairs from the lobby to our room and for our meals. Food at the hotel restaurant is good, there are choice of buffet and ala carte available on local and western cuisine.

Highly recommended hotel for an excellent stay and hospitality. Much love and regards from a distant friend. Also to add, I have been monitoring the comment section for my dear friends here for sometime. I've personally known the owners of Hotel Heritage for years, and they're some of the most genuine and hardworking people I know. They've poured their hearts into creating a special place for visitors...

Loved Every moment of our stay. Warm welcome, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and stunning traditional interiors. The hotel feels like a living museum with such artistic detail. It's just a short walk from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Would definitely stay again.

We had an unbeatable experience at Hotel Heritage Bhaktapur during our two nights stay. Professional courtesy extended by all staff at all time was really mesmerizing.Extrerior and exterior ambiance of the hotel was truly maintained and real experience of Heritage we feel. Utmost level of cleanliness , rooms ,amenities and restaurant was commendable. Food served during our stay was superb. We highly...

The environment is very good, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the square, which is not too close nor too far. But the room shower 🈚️ hot water, breakfast coffee extra charge, and no bottled water in the room (the hotel uses glass bottles, I don’t know what kind of water it is, I didn’t drink it) The bathroom has a strange smell. Apart from the appearance, the overall appearance is quite...

When we arrived they had no information about our reservation, and they put us up in a building opposite the hotel

Hotel layakhu is an wonderful place to visit and spend time with family. Services here are also great Overall I love this hotel

Clean and nice place. Good localization. A warm shower and comfortable beds. Great view from rooftop. I recommend this place.

Lovely rooms with very comfy beds. Best nights sleeps we have had in Nepal as it’s so quiet and peaceful outside. Shower was warm and hot when you wanted it to be. We had a fan in our room to keep us cool but didn’t need it too much. Staff were wonderful and so friendly! We also loved having a little balcony where we could sit and listen to the school children singing! We would stay again! Thanks for...

Great service with clean and friendly environment.. View form balcony is fabulous.. Staff are good too Thanks hotel layaku darbar

We went here for lunch on the way to KTM from Nagarkot. It was a great decision to stop for lunch before heading back to KTM. The fish thali lunch is better here than Soaltee WestEnd in Nagarkot. And the yogurt desert is to die for.

I recently stayed at Hotel City Gaon in Bhaktapur and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The environment is peaceful with a nice garden setting, which makes it a perfect place to relax away from the busy city noise. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially liked the...

A wonderful stay! The hotel offered clean, comfortable rooms, a spacious meeting hall, and exceptional service. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I will definitely visit again.

Had a great stay at this hotel! The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and everything was well-prepared. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive—rooms, dining areas, and common spaces were all well-maintained. The staff was also courteous and helpful. A great choice for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay!"

great food at affordable prices

Beautiful place, beautiful people and excellent food. Amazing experience!!

Nepal Planet in Bhaktapur was such a wonderful surprise, a little island of calm and happiness compared to the busy streets of Kathmandu. Our group of 16 immediately felt welcomed into a warm, authentic, and peaceful place. The rooms are huge, very clean, and have plenty of space for everyone. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the Bhaktapur yogurt was absolutely amazing. The kitchen is excellent...

Planet Bhaktapur Hotel was definitely a wonderful experience. It was our first time in Nepal and staying in Planet Bhaktapur Hotel was like staying at home!! We spent there our first 4 days and we had very good time. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaking italian. I strongly recommend to choose this hotel as your first destination when you arrive to Nepal and I also suggest to ask the staff to...

Planet Bhaktapur Hotel exceeded all expectations during my recent visit. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, the hotel offers a perfect retreat from the bustling city. The beautifully landscaped garden and charming traditional architecture immediately set a tranquil tone. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, blending modern comforts with cultural aesthetics. The staff demonstrated...

We can surely say that Planet Bhaktapur Hotel was a wonderful experience. It was our first trip to Nepal and we've spent there our first 5 days. We've met a very friendly and professional environment. Very good food but most of all I'd like to thank Naresh, a very good friend, for his very helpful insights as a guide and the very very good driver, that brought us all over the country, our friend Kiran...

Bhaktapur was our first stop in Nepal and I could not recommend the Planet enough. Not only the place is lovely and very conveniently located (10-15 mins walk from the Durban square/city centre) but the staff is fantastic and made us feel very welcomed and well cared for. A special thank you to Francesco who helped us plan the whole itinerary for our trip and to Naresh, the best Italian speaking guide...

Such a lovely place in one of the most beautiful areas of Nepal. Everyone who worked there was super kind and helpful and, as per usual, made me feel very much at home in Nepal. I recommend getting to know Suraj, he is a really friendly local to the area and one of the closest friends I made on my trip. He knows all the ins and outs of Bhaktapur so getting that sweet king curd is no problem. Thanks...

Beautiful luxurious hotel near centre of Bhaktapur, only few hundred metres away. Staff is overly friendly. Rooms are big and comfy. Restaurant was good as we enjoyed a lunch and all dinners there. Only one minor item, please change restaurant music, so guests won't hear the same music every 15 minutes. Would strongly recommend this hotel/restaurant.

Hotel is very comfortable, clean and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice for everyone. We stayed for 2 nights and there were functions every day and night but it was interesting to see the changes of décor and flower arrangements. We were concerned it would be noisy but it wasn't and it gave us wonderful opportunities to enjoy the sound environment...

Best location, great food and coffee. Fairly priced meals unless your used to eating on the street. Staff are very helpful and always within eye sight to help. Definitely recommend this guest house.

Excellent location, basic but comfortable rooms. Hot showers. Excellent meals....make sure you try the famous yogurt. Beautiful rooftop bar, nice first floor coffee shop.

Cheap room with good quality. Nice service as well. Fantasticly placed in heart of old Town!

If you meets Mukunda, the owner of the laxmi, you will fall in love directly. Best Host in Town.

Very nice place, especcially the hostages people are very friendly and pleasant.

varry good proper bed set good view at the top of roof if u would like to spend night you most stay at candel deener iz good to see you again

ENJOYED THE BALCONY VIEW. A SITE OF NYATAPOLO RIGHT AHEAD FROM THE WINDOW AND A MAGNIFICENT MARKET WHERE CROWDS BEGINS EARLY AND ENDS LATE.

The guest house has a very nice ambience. If you want to enjoy typical bhaktapur culture, then this is a perfect place for you. The owner was very friendly and the food served were also delicious. The only problem I had was the sound of traditional bell in the morning, but if you are a morning person I guess you will enjoy that as well. Situated at the heart of bhaktapur, it had a beautiful view of...

A BEST HOTEL IN CLASSICAL TYPE BUILDING WITH SOPHISTICATE INTERIOR,,IT IS LOCATED AT THE MIDDLE OF TAUMADHI SQUARE, OF HISTORICAL CITY OF BHAKTAPUR,NEPAL.AND TRULY EVERYTHING WAS OVERWHELMED

This hotel is just AMAZING, probably the best value hotel I've been to in Nepal. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and they're also very nicely decorated and furnished. The shower is hot and powerful. The location is perfect, right between the two main squares in town. The owners are very helpful. We stayed 3 nights and were sad to be leaving!

A Heritage Gem 🇧🇩🫶🇳🇵 As a solo traveler from 🇧🇩, I loved my stay at Kumari Guest House. The location is perfect for exploring Bhaktapur’s heritage sites, and the rooms reflect the city’s traditional charm. The reception staff were amazing—super welcoming and helpful. A great choice for anyone visiting Bhaktapur

The location was perfect for exploring and relaxing in old Bhaktapur. Hot showers were reliable. Price was very good.

Great Guest house with lovely staff. Perfect location

The Kumari Guest House is an amazing location located in the historic Bhaktapur district. The space was recently renovated and very well maintained. The staff were very helpful and continuously ensured the space was clean and enjoyable. The forms were very spacious and well laid out. the bathroom was large and clean. The hot water was excellent and the wifi was great. I highly recommend a stay at...

Clean, modern, spacious room in a historic building adjacent to Durbar Square. Very comfortable bed, nice lighting, modern bathroom. Can have breakfast included or not, your choice.

Very well located in the heart of Bhaktapur Square (note that access to Bhaktapur Square costs 2,000 NPR: ask the security checkpoint to validate your ticket for 7 days using your passport, otherwise you’ll have to pay again each time). The staff are very welcoming, helpful and attentive. I had some great laughs with them. There’s also a good, inexpensive restaurant just opposite. P.S. The rooftop...

Good room & great Himalayan view roof top breakfast.

Rooms are clean and everything you can expect, with a fantastic breakfast on top of it (between 8 and 10am). The service with Nepalese smiles is impeccable and the rooftop is as wonderful as the location of the Hotel. Do NOT look any further: this is where you should stay in Bhaktipur !

Tulaja Boutique Hotel is located at a very strategic location, within walking distance to the Unesco heritage sites of Bhaktapur and easily accessible to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the rooftop of the hotel. The room is clean and the staff are helpful

Excellent location right in centrer and the staff are wonderful, super friendly and very helpful. Was a slight mix up when we arrived to the room we booked, but was sorted once booking shown. Shower was on the cool side if I am to be honest. Room had comfortable bed and was a good size with tv and aircon. If you prefer quiet room do ask for one out the back. Really nice roof terrace, lots different...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Wonderful Stay at Tulaja Hotel” I had a great experience at Tulaja Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made me feel very welcome. The location is convenient, close to key spots, yet peaceful enough to relax. Overall, Tulaja Hotel provides excellent value...

Recently stayed at this hotel. Their service, foods are excellent. Their restaurant food is highly recommended. I fell in love with their welcome drink. I will surely visit again! Highly recommended. 1000 out of 10!

I love the balcony and the view, the breakfast was the best one i had in Nepal, staff very nice and helpful

Everything was Great! The room was clean and cozy, quite and stylish and have panoramic city-mountain view. The staff is very helpful and welcoming and help me with all my issues. I have the room on the top floor with separate huge shower with big window, this was amazing. The bed was super-comfy. 3-5 Mins walk from Durbar square and other historical places of beautiful Bhaktapur city. 20 mins taxi...

It was a really nice apartment, very close to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Very friendly staff . Beautiful balcony view in a clear day.

Need to improve different issues, but with possibilities...

Popular place. Service is slow. Need to improve service time by adding service manpower

This is an excellent place to stay while visiting Bhaktapur. Staff are friendly, helpful and very attentive Highly recommended

Very beautiful hotel with great and helpful staff. Location is about 15minutes walk to the main square. Many restaurant and grocery shop around.

Guest Status: Japanese, Male, 20s Impressions: - Close to Pashupatinath Temple, one of Kathmandu's most famous attractions. However, it's a back alley, so it can be a bit confusing, but it's within easy reach. - The free Western-style breakfast was comforting, and the hand-brewed coffee was delicious. - There was no air conditioning, so it might be uncomfortable to sleep in depending on the season...

A beautiful hotel in a fairytale village. We received wonderful service.

New hotel, very reasonably priced rooms equipped with every comfort. Basic breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nagpukhu! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and right next to the tranquil Nag Pokhari pond. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with a traditional Nepali touch. The staff was warm, helpful, and made me feel at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in Bhaktapur, I highly recommend this boutique...

Amazing stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location. Highly recommended

One of the most beautiful place and very friendly staff, especially the owner was so warm welcoming and very humble person. We enjoyed a lot especially the rooftop view Highly recommended 😎 Note :We will visit nepal again only to stay one more day at this place for sure 👌

Beautiful rooms and great service. I recommend anyone coming to bhaktapur to stay here. Worth every penny.

Kind stuff. Trying to help each time

Good enough for one night at a good price in Bhaktapur. Nice familly. Room are ok. Didn't try the "hot" shower. Wifi was not working from our room.

Just about 1 KM distance from Araniko Highway, atop from Chundevi, Sallghari, Bhaktapur. A place with 30plus of history with mystic view of Bhaktapur City and Background Hills and Himalayas. It’s great to be in this place for a family stay or a group night stay or picnic with mouth refreshing dinner and breakfast. Not too far, just too pleasant vibes and proximity with traditional beauty.

Nice nature beauty but need to improve more the building was old and traditional but need to renovate the food was nice the view was perfect

Wonderful people who run the guest house. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Beautiful campus. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The place was difficult to find even with google map. The road to the place a bit off-road. The place was decent with decent food. The wifi was very poor. The best part about this place was the peace and the birds chirping.

Fun, big has a lot of space. Table tennis and basketballs to play as well. Good food, enjoyed my time with my cousins! Definitely recommended to stay one night with your family!

Bhaktapur guest House is one of the old guest House of bhaktapur. It is located in chundevi area near to traffic police department. Bhaktapur guest House is very beautiful. There is available sports games like table tennis, basketball and other. If we want to celebrate any ceremony, they arrange for it. There is available of rooms and foods and beverages. We can do get together also.
