We stayed here with friends while we planned to see Thamel at Christmas. The rooms were clean and nice, and friendly and attentive staff members, Located in a prime location and good value for money.

Wow. What a Charging place. Very well located in a quite Street right in the center of Thamel.
So calm and quite. Very big rooftop filled with plants, rooms are simple and very clean. Hot shower 24 hours a day and the nicest and caring hosts.
This guesthouse is one of the oldest Thamel and it has the old vibe of Thamel, before it gotten to be so touristic. So it is a bit outdated but this is part of his charm.

I was in Nepal for a week. When i searched trip advisor lot of the people were recommending Thamel. Since I was budget one of my acquaintaince referred Imperial Guest House and I booked for 2 nights from *********** The best part about my stay was, this place is a hidden gem since it is located away from noisy Thamel. We found this place welcoming since it is family run. It has wifi, hot and cold shower. Beds are clean, rooms are cozy. This is exactly what I was searching for on a tight budget. Restaurant is not available within the premises, however if you walk few steps you will find multiple shops and restaurants. Lastly donot miss the terrace of the guesthouse if you would like to chill and read books, enjoy sun and drinks. Its only 6kms from Tribhuwan International Airport. Garden of dreams was a lovely place to visit, only 300 meters from the Guest House.

Nice place, everything is in neat and tidy. It's location it's very convenient and at the same time peaceful the attention of the staff is good. Great deal for the price.

excellent value for money. i always stay here when i visit kathmandu. clean, friendly owner, very helpfull staff. in. quiet area, only 2 minutes walk from the hectic, noisy streets of thamel.

Awesome place with one of the best ambience and location in Kathmandu. This is also the only place where you can get genuine wood fired pizzas in Kathmandu. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and lovely music. It’s a chilled our place with lots of seating and ideal to sit and chit chat for long periods of time. Great place to spend with family and friends over lunch.. amazing value for money!

Quadro formaggi is awesome! Authentic thin crust hot oven baked pizza! Great ambience too.

Amazing food. Pizza is VERY delicious and staff are friendly and supportive. Done multiple visits for meals and cafe and would come again once back

Decide for some salad and pizza. Illy coffee can't go wrong. Salad was good. Pizza was so so. Had pepperoni pizza and top up mozzarella cheese and tomato paste (extra charge). Didn't help much. Edible pizza but not great. Top up more pepperoni instead. (They Thinly sliced ). Tiramitsu was fair.
I sat at the open area and it had Good ambience, good music.
I recommend this place for a change from the trekking food.
