The environment is excellent and the location is good, but the service is very average. No one came to clean the room on the second day of our three-night stay. We had to urge the front desk to come. In the middle of the night, they delivered something to the wrong room and kept knocking on our door, which seriously affected our sleep.

This is an old hotel that is in desperate need of a refresh. Given the price, I would only recommend staying there should you be attending a conference on site. Outside of that, there are many newer options at half the price, and are more conveniently located.

The facilities inside the hotel rooms in the main building are too old. The air conditioning can't be controlled at all. It's either freezing or hot.

The room is relatively old and not up to the 5-star standard. The bathtub in the bathroom is also a bit paint-chipped, but the service level is still up to the 5-star standard.

I stayed in a building next door, not the main building, and it was very clean, probably because it was newly built. A colleague who stayed in the main building said that dirt had settled when he filled the sink with water, but the new building didn't have that problem. The hot water came out well, and it was better than expected.

The environment is great. The facilities are also very good, but the water in the shower is very small and the water temperature is difficult to adjust. When checking out, the front desk was very indifferent, which is not the attitude of a state-owned hotel.

Location and the ambiences of the hotel was perfect! Since there was a conference going on, our rooms were not allocated as per booked. The first few hours of getting the right room was a hassle. But after sometime they managed a nice room for us even though I didn't get the cottage room as booked. Overall, good!

Nice place as it has a lot of gardens and places to walk around. Pool is a bit small but it is good, food was nice too and I loved walks to temples and the things I could do within the walking distance. Also the people were very welcoming and friendly

I booked a room with a view of the Boudhanath Pagoda. But I couldn't see it at all. I asked the front desk why I couldn't see it. Wasn't it inconsistent with the reservation? They took me to see two other rooms. One of them had a view of the pagoda but it was so small that I could hardly see it.

The facilities, service, and breakfast are all good. The price is good value for money. Boudhanath Stupa is just a few minutes walk away. I think it is a good hotel for resting after a hike.

nice heritage kinda hotel, big room and clean. It's a bit far away from the center, but very close to the budda stupa which is amazing. Hyatt has a standard, and this one doesn't really disappoint. It's a solid hotel to stay for 1-3 days when in kathmandu.

A great hotel that is located in the heart of Thamel. The staff are welcoming and kind and it's easy to get there from the airport. The rooms are on the smaller side but more than adequate and the bed is quite comfortable. A great choice at a great budget!

I stayed in a standard room, not a deluxe room, which cost 325 RMB per night. I walked past the garden of this hotel and was attracted by the beautiful garden, so I booked a room from Ctrip. I didn't expect that the room was very different from the garden. There were 4 huge cockroaches in my room. I killed 2, the other 2 were running around. I did not know how many more cockroaches were hiding in the room. I called reception to request for a change of room. Staff came quite promptly and assisted with change of room, which thankfully was much cleaner and without cockroaches. Definitely not a good first impression for a first-timer staying in the hotel...

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

Clean room and very hospitable staff.

Toilet and bathrooms are little dirty. I was booked one night stay which have included dinner and breakfast.when i reached at hotels above 21:40 but staff says it’s too late for providing full service of food which includes on my booking, If hotels receive full cost of service hotel must be provided full service..there’s no mention in booking website about dinner time…so back my money 😡

I was disappointed by some mild smell in room. Also it's hard to get king size bed because most of the rooms have twin beds. Food is awesome. I simply liked the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The front desk was extremely bad! A local who knew my name came to the hotel at 2am after drinking too much and told the front desk that he knew me. He called me at 2am when I was sick and just fell asleep and woke me up. He gave the man my room card without asking me for confirmation because I heard him trying to swipe the card to open my door, but luckily I locked it! The man couldn't get in and...

The room space feels a bit cramped, and the boxes can only be placed on the floor. When you go out, you can reach Thamel with many shops, which is super convenient. The service is good and the restaurant is very convenient for ordering and delivery.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and I have met some friends who have lived there for a long time. The fried cauliflower for breakfast is better than fried chicken. I admire the chef's cooking skills. The guy at the front desk of the hotel can speak Japanese, and he can switch communication when English gets stuck. Lovely spot in northern Thamel!

The hotel is an oasis of rest and cleanliness near the stupa in Kathmandu. The staff are very friendly and service minded. I had a room overlooking the patio and that was perfect. Some members of my group had problems with city noise or the pigions. Maybe ask for a quiet room. The food is very good. The roof terrace is an absolute bonus.

The lovely Tibetan-style hotel is a hidden haven of calm in the bustling Boudha neighborhood. The rooms are spacious—slightly dated, but very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive (shout-out to Ms Pramila and Ms Shristi). The rooftop restaurant serves delicious local and Western dishes, and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking.

It should be considered the cleanest hotel in the area. Recommended for travel teams with high hotel requirements.

Hotels in Thamel are quite same level. One exeption: Hotel Nepalaya. The restaurant on the roof, the quiet and family impression is better than any other place, i had been bevore. And always help in any situation, real help! Very good place - 5 Stars!

Check in by mistake as the driver dropped us at the wrong hotel. But it turns out to be a blessing in disguise. The staff was super friendly and helpful without expecting anything in return. Breakfast is alot better than other similar-priced hotel.

Stayed at eco resort for a night to catch next day early business meeting. Though the rooms are Mid-range and a bit old but the service, and all the team members are so nice. Homely and cozy feelings, not upgraded but ample garden space to walk around and multiple amenities like specialty tea from teafresho, Nepali arabica coffee from Javazza, etc. highly recommended!
