Fletcher Hotel Gilde

Our group stayed here for 5 days and the hotel is wonderful. Lots of history and character, very clean, and the location in old town was perfect to enjoy the shopping and restaurants. The staff were very professional and helpful, a special thanks to Donny for her care and attention to our group, and the breakfast each morning was really good and enjoyed by everyone. We highly recommend this hotel

The rooms are old and dirty and really need a makeover. Dirty stains on the wall and on the floor. Toilet and sink that leaked causing a puddle in the bathroom. Too busy in the dining room, so people were queuing for a table. All in all very mediocre and in response to the receptionist we apologize. You could do it with that!!

This is a charming character hotel set on the main street into the delightful city. Reception staff are very welcoming and were helpful on arrival. The breakfast is good and the staff are very polite and friendly. The room size is ok, and the beds are comfy. It's warm too...

1. The shower that lets me control the water temperature - I found this very convenient. 2. The breakfast service and offering - very good, with freshly baked breads and cakes. 3. The location - very convenient to necessary amenities like Train station, shops, eating places like the Brink.

The building is beautiful, as well as the WIFI and the breakfast. The location is in the heart of the old city and 8min walk from the railway station, which is convenient. However, it;s very cold in general especially if you room is a corner room, like mine. The TV did't want to switch on. The rooms are clean. I was allowed to make the tea at night.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Our room was on the side of the hotel with a lot of stairs which can be tricky when carrying suitcases. It is near to the city center as well as train station and park (10-15minutes walking). The breakfast was really good with the nice selection of food. The staff were pretty helpful for everything we asked.

Very friendly staff and nice location!

One of the best hotel in Deventer, nice friendly guy is the owner of it. They treat people well and rooms are excellent. Have been here 4 times my first choice of hotel is this one.

Very big rooms. The owner is very friendly and helpful so he will do everything he can to make you feel comfortable

Great quality friendly owners very clean constantly of a high standard. Stay in the wonderful apartments overlooking the river ijssel.There great restaurants and town squares to explore.

Lovely hotel in the old section of Deventer. Clean, comfortable. Proprietor Peter was a very kind, welcoming host. We would definitely stay there again and would heartily recommend it to others. Incredible value for the price.

I have been in 3 Van Der Valk hotels and this one was the best. It is freshly build and everything is the newest standard in quality and comfort. Rainfall shower, dyson hair dryer and a superb boxspring bed. Also very nice staff. Thank you very much

Nice hotel near Deventer. Had two different electrical parkings. Nice and clean rooms.

Easy to reach as it is away from city centre. Clean rooms and great breakfast. Good option for weekend trip to the area

the property is on a two minutes drive from the coty centre of Deventer very reachable and clean!

The room is not very big, the facilities are relatively new, the decoration is more individual, and the parking lot is free. It seems that many business people stay here. There is an office area on the first floor, which has to be used for a fee. McDonald's is 200 meters opposite the hotel. The water from the bathroom faucet can be drunk directly.

+ Not too hot in the room with heater on maximum level 5 - Bed moving, annoying during night :( - Even if I expressly asked my room to be cleaned, the bed sheet wasn't changed for 6 days. - No fridge in the room, I understood from the front desk that was due to the standard type of toom - same products as breakfast every morning, but that's understandable + dinner, type of bistro menu, good dishes...

Finch is a beautiful hotel, nicely located in the center of Deventer with very friendly and attentive staff! My family and I stayed there for an event and we were really pleased with their service.

We stayed here again during Christmas and just had a fantastic experience. The room is lovely decorated and very comfy. The staff goes above and beyond in making you feel welcome. And they’re also doing a real good job with all the current covid regulations. We loved it!

We stayed at Finch with our one year old son and never felt more at ease than here. Staff was super friendly and catered to all of our needs (baby crib, fridge for milk and use of microwave for his food). Styling of the hotel is superb as is the food, coffee options even included oatmilk for the cappuccino which is a nice luxury. Late night bar is classy and the hotel gives a complimentary free drink...

First of all, all the services and food are perfect. Sleeping here is good also. For summer, it's a great idea to have "lekker zitten in de terras" very recommended for all of you. Price? 😉 Depends on you

Very refined, a hotel with class. Six views of the river and getting to the center of town across the river is about a 15 walk.

Mooie gerechten waarin bij ieder gerecht bepaalde ingrediënten centraal staan en op verschillende wijze worden bereid. Niet alles was even sterk van smaak maar de combinaties waren vaak creatief en gingen goed samen. Alle borden waren ook erg mooi opgemaakt. Nice location, unfortunately you have to park your car in the parkhouse (10 EUR per 24 hours). Personal is very friendly.

The location is in the city center. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. No aircon nor the umbrella that we can borrow if its rain outside. The breakfast was good with plenty choices.

Nice and clean restaurant, friendly personel.

Lovely, large room in 19th century style. Clean, quiet and cosy. Bathroom, with bath was fine. Breakfast brought up to the room and very friendly owner and staff. Location is fantastic. Wonderful place!
