I stay in this hotel often since 15yrs even before it became postillion brand. next to motorway. convenient for many of my business contacts. good location close to Germany border. hotel itself is good. well run. clean. modern big car parking & good to arrange business events. plenty meeting rooms.
they have stopped bacon+ egg station. half boiled or scrambled egg rubbish from jar. . I like fried or poached eggs & bacon breakfast otherwise I can stay at many cheaper low quality hotels.

We had a fantastic offer: an overnight stay with breakfast and dinner for next to nothing. We were a bit skeptical at first, but this stay exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, the room was neat and clean, and the beds were wonderful. The restaurant didn't have an extensive menu (you had a choice of four main courses), but it was delicious! A truly top-notch chef! But breakfast was a complete surprise; we couldn't say no! We give this hotel a solid 10!
Top tip: the hotel is located on the Hanseatic Cities Trail, ideal for hikers (as we are).

Very poor hotel, it didn't improve even after complaints, very disappointing and this is just my personal opinion. The room was cramped and very small, definitely not up to the standards of a 4-star hotel, the hotel breakfast was very unpleasant and the service was poor

- Bed moving, annoying during night :(
- Even if I expressly asked my room to be cleaned, the bed sheet wasn't changed for 6 days.
- No fridge in the room, I understood from the front desk that was due to the standard type of toom
- same products as breakfast every morning, but that's understandable
+ dinner, type of bistro menu, good dishes and wine
The company's travel portal indicated that the hotel is 4*... More a 3* one... This is only a humble opinion.

Staff were very nice and helpful, also after my stay (needed an invoice via email). Lots of parking space, and - very important for me - rooms are quiet. Bed and room were clean, bathroom could have been cleaner though.

A very nice hotel, the only (debatable) minus of which is its location. I suppose if one is traveling by car, it will be a plus in fact - it is on the outskirts of Deventer, near the main highway to Amsterdam. For those without a car, however, it's 2 km walk to the city center (or to any cafe besides the nearby McDonald's).
Nice breakfasts, a cozy restaurant, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. It somehow combines traditional Dutch atmosphere with completely modern architecture.
