Grand place located in a beautiful forest area. The main ‘house’ had different dining and sitting areas, including a bar with a lovely open fire. We ate at the Het Roode Koper Restaurant, and went there for our anniversary. We where one of the first ones there and where looking forward to a lovely meal. The service could have been better. As a lady with a purse, I requested if I could have a chair as to not put my purse on the floor and the server said no, that all the chairs will be busy eventually. A haven of peace and quiet. Excellent kitchen. Michelin star. An immaculate landscape park garden. Truly Dutch. Great high-end family hotel. Plan for a bike trip. And do not forget your swim gear and walking shoes. Or else tennis. And if this is not enough horseback riding. People say living like god in France. Not really,... this is the place.

Had our Christmas dinner at De Zwarte Boer and really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, every dish looked delicious. The menu had a really nice variety, the service was friendly, and the interior looks lovely. Thanks to Ted, who made us feel very welcome. A great place for a festive dinner, definitely recommended.

Sunday lunch with 97 year old mother: great hospitality, friendly staff, fast service, great food (we had wildstoofpotje and fish of the day), easy access toilets, place was packed (reservation recommended). 68 Euro for 2 rich main dishes, 3 soft drinks, a latte macchiato and a cappuccino. We’ll be back!

Great place for a lunch. They had a fair amount of choices in the menu and the food was good. Temperature inside was a little on the warm side, but it was a hot day. Great atmosphere and even better surroundings.

Very friendly staff and the food was perfect, location is beautiful.

After a wonderful walk in the forest we came here for a well deserved lunch. Friendly service and really nice food!
